The purpose of this thread is to share your favorite quote from the anime adaptation of Death Note. Only one rule to post in this thread, and that is:

Ryuk's "humans are interesting'' bit in eps 1 and 2 were good too, and that ''Justice'' line in the 2nd ep.

Ryuk's "So you're a college student now, I'm somewhat proud of you." line in ep 9 was good too.

Shows that Death Note goes the extra mile to express how important school grades are. Even if you have plans to become a God, a safety net is still important ;).He gave a valid reason for that, though. If his grades suddenly dropped, it would be an obvious sign to L (or anyone else investigating him) that would make him more suspicious.

He needs to appear as normal as possible, which includes keeping his grades up.
