Akazukin Cha Cha

I'm just wondering if any fansubbers will be adding Akazukin Cha Cha to the Animesuki series list. It's not been licenced and it's a great show so are there any plans for it to be on a torrent?

All 74 eps of ChaCha (TV) were fansubbed by Groupe Virelai several years ago from LD source... you can get it from your local VHS fansub supplier :)

I'm sure there are vidcaps of the tapes out there, but probably not of great quality.

oishii, your guess is correct; there have been digital encodes of the VHS subs. However, there are no torrent files for the encodes, so there's nothing to list.

Just a correction. Groupe Virelai subbed Akazukin Chacha from DVD source. They've decided to redo the old Arctic Animation fansubs exactly when Chacha was released on DVD.

Arctic, many, many years ago subbed Chacha first from TV source and later from LD source.

If you want to get it, I'd recommend the Virelai version, that has extensive corrections to the original Arctic scripts.

Also, some very good quality quality captures and encodes were done from the Virelai version. There were a number of these actually, but only one of them with complete OP/ED/Previes, good video quality, etc. Mine have been archived to CD for some years now, but they may still be floating around somewhere.

I remember a lot of people wanted to see this show hosted in the Animesuki torrents section in the old AS torrents forum, before the forum got deleted for lack of posting. Why don't you try to pull out the CDs and then contact GDH and see if he would be up to hosting it?
