I think it is Yuma she has a lock of hair in front of her eyes which is kind of her trade mark.

And don't forget Yuma lost her arm temporarely during the campaign in the north during the very 1st fight with the 3 'scouting' awakened ones. Which would explain the bandages.

D&H decide do adventure in the desert, trying to reach those mountains on the horizon. If we climb up there, we can better understand what's in this forlorn area.... D&H cross the desert for several hours; they don't really suffer from the intense heat but Helen nevertheless keeps lamenting. When they reach the mountain, they see that it's a really steep cliff, with stone steps that protrude from the mountain wall and.... there are human corpse nearby. They must have fallen from those steps... H&D decide to climb that ladder, but as they lay feet on the stone steps about half-way, they retract themselves into the stone wall, making it impossible to climb for a human, who can do nothing but fall and die. But Claymore speed and reflexes are so good they can do it... what other traps will H&D encounter on the mysterious mountains? :heh:

Oh, great! Now I have "Dueling Banjo's" playing in my head from that old DBZ AMV of Goku and Vegita. But instead of them it's Clare and Ophelia duking it out to the tune.

But going back to the requested critique...
Deneve is not the wide-eyed type. Don't be afraid to NOT draw full pupils. Seeing her eyes half-closed would have been more like her. In panel 5, you have your effect lines aimed to the center of the frame.... where there's nothing... and the two are off to the right. Someone would expect something to fall into that spot in the next frame. Try to have the lines aimed from the two... or if your trying to express the emptiness on that plateau they are on, don't add any effect lines.
Other than that, your background work.... is SUPERB! Kinda Moebius-like. If you took a long time to focus on your backgrounds and scenery you have the love of drawing, and would probably do well in the comic media.
And Helen with a toothpick. Classic.

It is interesting the colors they picked for the characters different hair colors for the anime. It really made them much easier to distinguish than in the manga. Teresa being obnoxiously blonde certainly was an interesting choice for her (not to mention using Romi Paku as her voice actor). Ah! Now that you mentioned it, I noticed that Miria was blonde in that vector. Now I feel repelled by it!

But now that makes me wonder, if they ever gonna make a sequel to the anime, how are they gonna introduce Claric being different because of her hair since we already have Miria with a similar color. We even have green-haired Ophelia! (tho very pale green)

Rough translation; Japanese isn't my first language.

A bit lazy to try accurately figuring out the rest, but Raki's says something about following Clare as a cook, and Teresa's about being the strongest claymore, saving clare, and breaking the "No kill humans" rule.

And yes, it was based off a frame from somewhere in the chapter 65-70 area. They copied the shape of the head and some of the hair exactly, and just added in the hand and modified some of the features.
