I have nothing against sexy poses. It's just that there are too many AB's with tentacles, and that scares me.

The one with flora standing is pretty hot, the one after that is really naughty. :heh: They aren't lesbians are they...:upset: Although Theresa's hair doesn't seem to match her official look.(Unless clare is with someone else) And is the fourth one Clarice and Miata? Heh, I'm not sure myself about the image after Flora, but I thought it looked good from an artistic standpoint. :heh: I admit though, it'd be strange if that is actually Teresa. o.o;
As for the fourth image, if I remember correctly, that's Teresa's symbol, isn't it? So I'm guessing its mostly likely Teresa and Chibi-Clare.

Overcriticizing eye? I don't think so. The author of that drawing is talented (and I do wish to be as good as him) but the drawing does need improvement in some aspects. I'd let the Zemas lips slip since they might be drawn to be seen sad but Ophelia's breasts is just not right! Geez, it's just an opinion man! :p
At least the drawings are good enough for us to tell WHO IT IS. haha... If it was mine... hmm we can all just play guess the claymore. Yah that Jean pic is pretty good too.

Agree, these are very nice works despite of some tiny mistakes. IMO Ophelia's body looks a bit long and her head a bit small, something is wrong with the twins chin...(I'd be gald if I could draw only a line like in those pics)

Man, its a shame i see lot of crappy series getting sequels and new animation projects every year, about Claymore there's not even a sight or news about even if there will be anything in the future or not. I really hope Claymore doesnt follow Evangelion where they keep releasing new stuff, but its nearly the same thing (e.g Evangelion 1.0 You're not alone Movie = Evangelion TV 1-6; Evangelion Death Movie = Evangelion TV 1-24 ReCAP Fake 16:9 and so on...)

well my main concern is that I think people are nitpicking far too much and looking too deeply and actually trying to find what is wrong with a drawing rather than appreciating it. if we could all draw claymore perfectly, then there really would be no need for claymore ... since we could just draw/write our own stories. ;P
actually, if you nitpick the artist, he doesn't draw perfectly either. ;P

yay, anima posted one of the fanarts I drew, Clare + vizard bankai, the only black and white one there cuz chiba is not so good at coloring... Now I have the warm fuzzies.
If they did more of the fight mode pics I'd want to see, Teresa vs priscilla (or the hunters), Galatea vs. Duff (megaman style), Clare vs Rigardo, Clare quicksword-ing Duff like the car you have to beat up in street fighter with the time limit, and really anything like that.
yay, anima posted one of the fanarts I drew, Clare + vizard bankai, the only black and white one there cuz chiba is not so good at coloring... Now I have the warm fuzzies.

If they did more of the fight mode pics I'd want to see, Teresa vs priscilla (or the hunters), Galatea vs. Duff (megaman style), Clare vs Rigardo, Clare quicksword-ing Duff like the car you have to beat up in street fighter with the time limit, and really anything like that.

LOL. But then after his HP drops below a certain level, he automaticly does Tounge Rape, and Miria's HP is in critical, and she's parylized. Then Claire revives, with absurd EVD and CRT stats to help kick ass. Or you just keep casting Ultima.

I was google-ing for veronica pics and I saw that one Kai posted. I actually found an older discussion on this site about the Ghosts taking on techniques from their fallen comrades. Thought it was funny
That reminds me of something... Several of the surviving 7 seem to have taken something from their fallen comrades. Like Deneve taking Undine's sword, perhaps she will also be using her strength augmentation; Clare using Flora's windcutter, and Helen using Jean's attack. I wonder if any other of the 7 trained in borrowed techniques, although we didn't get to see much from the other claymores, most of which probably didn't have any special techniques. But still, they must have picked up a few more tricks during those 7 years, either borrowed or of their own making, curious to see what they might be. I'm sure Cynthia learnt the "getting hit by the Awakened One" technique from her commander Veronica...

Yes I know Jean and Clare can't wear the same cloak at the same time. The images were just the ones I found that had the angle I was after. I could have done something else... but I didn't. For some reason the color does not look as good as it did on my screen. Goes to show me not to touch any settings that confuse me...

I really wonder what Raki is like now. He has got to have superhuman strength or something after living with an AB and someone who is much stronger than an AB for 7 years. Well maybe not super human strength, but has got to be above your average human. Hope he turned out cool and badass, something completely opposite form his annoying younger self!

Raki anf his brother looked a lot alike, almost like the same person but in a different age, and with the exeption of Raki's scar on the left eyebrow, but add that to his Bro, and you get an older Raki, maybe his hair would be different who knows, but if he is still human I'm pretty sure he would look somewhat like this

Note sure where I saw it, but there was a pretty creepy one with Teresa having her front exposed, and some sort of black tentacle looking thing just barely peaking out of her open wound simliar to the one in that picture.
That would certainly creep me out.

Yeah, it is most likely a semi-open wound that looks pretty damn painful.
I think the partially-awakened ones heal most, if not all of this wound, going by Jean's partial awakening.

Even if it's in the name of saving humanity, there's got to be a better way than putting people (young girls especially) through that sort of treatment. Even girls as young as Miata...had to go through that. I won't even start on the fact that they began on Alicia and Beth when they were just infants.

yeah maybe, cuz even on Jean we didn't saw anything, but maybe that scar is not so thick as it is in this pic, it is probably the same size judging from that that Teresa showed all of her uper body to the bandits and they were like :twitch:, that's why we didn't see it because Jeans was standing almost in sideview and I think her boobs are enough to hide it wneh she was standing like that, and Teresa too was in somewhat same position helping Clare to get up, even though her clothes were riped we didn't see anything cuz she was standing like that, if one awakens it probably heels cuz none of the ABs had, maybe half awakend heel some of it.
I don't know about Teresa, but I saw a Miria and Clare pix, showing their scars, but with a teory why claymores have different symbols, and why exactly this symbol for her and that for her, Miria and Clare scars were with the shape of their symbols, and come to think of it this pic of Irene, her scar kinda looks like her symbol,maybe it's the same artist...creepy, poor girls :upset: :sad:

Well I said that because they do this to the girls to make warriors able to combat the youma. They say they are protecting people from youma and yet they do these sorts of things to young girls? That's what I was referring to by the 'saving humanity' remark.

I saw all those pencil drawings you posted BishounoTeresa, and couldn't resist coloring the Sophia one. :D
I hardly ever see Sophia fanart, it's such a shame.
Unfortunately I'm using a horrible crappy laptop screen and couldn't tell what the hell I was doing, so apologies for the no doubt numerous errors. I also modified the face a little, hopefully it looks better. (Sorry to whoever drew it! :uhoh:)

i was wondering Valduran, what method you use for coloring the manga.
The last pic i did, i cleaned it in gimp, increased the contrast and then auto-traced it with inkscape. then i colored the png in gimp. it came out really clean, but some parts (the face especially) lost a lot of detail. i was able to manually restore the face somewhat. cleaning the pic took a lot of time. and the lines end up a bit unnatural looking. this one turned out ok but the one of miata i'm working on doesn't look so good. the good side is the cleanness i think.

3. I shade everything with the Darken RGB brush, and then do some lighting with the Dodge brush.

Yeah i used the eraser a lot too, heh. Since its black and white manga all the shading has been done in gray :p
Its too bad those pics are only in pencil. I like the raphaela one, i'll try and auto trace it.
edit: it came out pretty good, i've done most of the color now just needs shading

I think Chiba actually used a special pencil and paper and smudged some areas with his finger for added shading affects. Hey chiba, you think you can talk a little bit about how you did that fine piece?:D

I probably should have used a special piece of paper... I have some bristol board that would have been perfect. Oops. Instead I just grabbed a piece of printer paper and used a 6H hard lead pencil to sketch it out because otherwise it gets too dark too fast and smudges like crazy. Then I started shading with different pencils, some hard some soft but mostly standard cheap mechanical 2B, using a Kleenex or piece of paper to smooth it out and a gum eraser because I love molding it into different shapes. I used Burne Hogarth's Dynamic Anatomy for reference because I do not know what Isley's forearms actually look like. I liked his soft shading approach so I tried that too.

I did not use my finger because the oils from my hand get mixed in with the graphite and make it difficult to erase although it is faster. Not touching it was the hardest part. I put another piece of printer paper on top of it to keep the heel of my hand from smudging it. The edges were really hard to get to and you will notice that I kind of gave up on everything around the edges especially the hair and his left arm. There are some perspective problems that glare at me too.
I moved his right horn and got rid of some of the hair because it was hard to draw.

I changed it a bit on the computer, especially cleaning up the smudges I did have. I bumped the levels because graphite is limited on how dark it can be. Also did a little dodging and burning to push some values. Tried a few filters but decided only to use subtle changes. Then I thought the graphite was too warm so I slightly colorized it with a cool blue hoping it would look more metallic. I was actually pretty nervous putting it up on the forum though.
