View Full Version : Claymore - Image Thread (wallpapers, fan art, gifs, etc.)
Doesn't DOD stand for Dwellers of the Deep? There isn't anymore room for others since this is the nickname specifically given to three mightiest of all Awakened Ones: Riful of the West, Isley and Rushiera/Lucelia.
I think the official name for them on here is Abyssal Ones or AOs for short. DOD is from the mistranslation "descendants of dragons".

I just love the idea of restrained sight for monsters. suits their dark nature very much.
That AB (Lower part) kinda reminded me of the Janitor from Silent Hill's movie. The upper part looks like a loving mother. Totally freakish! I hope we meet that AB in Claymore.

Looks like you missed the discussion nkowai :p. It is the back panel of the newest takubon. A lot of the images at the back of the takubon seem unrelated but they might have some relevance to the story yet. Pretty awesome huh?

Another question, I know it's the image thread, but anyway it's about Yuma :D: Whats this whole big deal about our sweet and humble Yuma?
I mean: Yuma Punch, Yuma Barrier, Yuma's Power Boost Jump, Yuma for All and All for Yuma... I find it all really funny, but how did it all get started? I'm really curious since, besides losing an arm in Pieta, I haven't found any troublesome situations about her in any of the 79 Scenes...
Anyone please explain that to me?
I think it's because she's so weak. So everyone assigns her special abilities. She also is very humble and 'in awe of' her seniors, so I think she's endearing in that sense. I think Yuma Punch is the phrase that started it all.

That's all the Awakened Riful I have. Guess her awaken form is pretty hard to draw so there aren't many fanarts of it out there.

When that one came up, I had a strange, brief impression of a girl-piloting-a-giant-robot-anime (Asuka in her Eva, one of the sisters in Neo Ranga, etc). Supersized Dauf with a pilot chair and control rods at the back of the neck or on a shoulder or something, and little Riful shouting orders and corny attack names as they attack the enemy....
