@Bisho, is that a claymore sword? It looks like it had taken quite a beating and could break at any moment. And there are numerous cracks on it. And there is no symbol on it either.:eyebrow:

The eyes match the style for how I see that Irene pic. It is that tiny left hand that is weirding me out. And it has a green tint to it* Though that too could just be a stylistic choice. I am a big fan of the buckle coloring though :D

(*Don't trust me too much on this, I am a little bit color blind...)

Ah, yes. If thought of as a vampire it does look more appropriate, especially with all the repeated cross/symbol imagery. And the hand was fine until chiba pointed out it was too small. Thanks chiba ;P I don't see the green tint, though. The black fingernails do give it a bit of an undead quality.

The sword I had kind of overlooked. The broken/cracked nature looked like a cool stylistic choice, but the metal bits of the hilt were wrong, and I somehow missed the absence of the symbol on it. Well, makes sense that it's not a 'true' claymore sword.

Anyway, she'd fit right in next to Alucard and Paladin Alexander and friends.

@ everyone about the Irene pic:

well I did notice that the sword didn't really look like a claymore, but I guess that's just how the artist decided to draw it, and yeah it did remind me of Hellsing, mostly because of all the crosses...I don't think that the left hand is too small, just that part of it and the wrist are covered from her sleeve, it does appear a little too dark compared to her face though (still I don't see anything green :uhoh:)...What bugged me at first was that it was a left arm, but that's how the artist decided to make it, it's like an alternative version of Irene not loosing it and still deserting the Org., or maybe that she took Rafaela's arms (which is a little hard to believe), or he just forgot that Irene had only a right arm, not a left. But in overal the art is great in my opinion so that's why I posted it :)

Revision 6, I think, of Chiba's picture of Miria. Much happier with the hair, though it's still somewhat lacking. Added some more detailing and a bunch of tweaks. This will probably be as far as I take it. Need to learn how to do leather. Oh, and yes, there's a 2048x1280 version as well.

I got that problem myself...i only could color Teresa's hair by looking at examples...talking about shading pain :D
But i think its a bit ironic:

Yagi: Hey 2nd Character Designer, what you think if we kill Teresa a bit earlier? Her hair is giving me headache.
2nd CD: Yessss....Pleaseeeaasee, you're my personal god mr yagi san, i've already broke all my fuses on that hair :D :D

Narutofan? Ugh, I've never went through that forum so I dunno how it works, but I've heard bad things about the ruler of that page, Tazmo. Like he takes free english scanlations, uploads them to his server and then makes people pay him money to download.

As I said, no clue about it, but it's what I've been told several times.

I like hanging around the Claymore Discussion page, which is really fun, but we blaze through so many topics so fast that they're is alot of spam, but there is still plenty of discussion. One thing, Rep has a much bigger role there than it does here. :D

I mean, it could happen you know, and it's just a thought that came after seeing the sleeping beauties of the claymore world. So adorable:love:, makes me want to cry every time I see them.(sniff)

So far, its the best display of love and affection I have seen from an image in the claymore thread. And I can't find the words to explain it any further, I just can't. When I look ant there faces I get lost in their love. The way that they hug each other, it's so sad.(sniff...again)

I hope they awake and give Riful and Duff just what they deserve.:frustrated:

Yes @Bisho, that is indeed very nice. Irene did mother Clare after Teresa's death. Although it was not for a long time, she did never the less teach Clare a couple of important things.:)

About those symbols no matter the symbol you can always use your imagination to make a letter of it (for example in rosemary's you need to add an extra line to make the letter) so i dont think they're related with each warrior's name in a strict way...

Just what I was thinking. On the other hand, did anyone else notice that the grown up Raki really looks like Isley, only with short hair. Sometime ago we were wondering in this thread how he would look like and supposed he might look like his older brother, but I never though that Yagi would just take Isley and give him a semi-decent hair cut, and a scar over the eyebrow.

He's my favorite character personally (as well as isley and Priscilla, they make a great trio. :p). I was mostly just whining, so you don't have to take it to heart. I'll still be waiting faithfully and pray that some kind soul will hear them and then bestow some Raki fanart upon me. :D

BTW, as NobodyMan, I rather appreciate Raki which are the only one main male character in Claymore. As strong, clever Isley is, he is only a second hand character in my opinion.

What's wrong with being happy with fanart of my favorite character, especially when they are so few and far between?

Nothing's wrong with Raki in my opinion. He's actually an okay character to me in the manga, but I'm guessing it's cause of anime Raki that everybody hates him. Hey, it made me dislike him when initially I had nothing against him when I first read the manga.

yeah thats a good one...I also like how her left arm is hidden. It creeps me out when people draw her stump in great detail...especially when shes nude, etc :twitch:

Concerning Iren's normal ears, I have hearded some time ago Irene does not have elf ears at the beginning but due to the anime, Yagi changed them for chapters she met Clare.
And because I took a Irene's pic concerning the fight Teresa vs N°2, 3, 4, 5, she has normal ears.
