Uuuh.. no? because he's a lot stronger now then he was before and is among the only humans who know the truth about awakened beings, most likely to play a great role in the upcoming war on their side. He's much more useful than Galk and Sid, again about the term useful - to whom exactly? most characters are about themselves anyway so nobody serves nobody's purposes, Raki is a human so naturally he'll be useless to the ghosts and that's why he was seperated from Clare in the first place. Aside from the romantic crappy aspect of his character that ties him to Clare, Raki probably killed lots of yoma for free and rapidly becoming known for his good deeds in the villages.. That's more useful than any weakling claymore who died in the north for nothing..

By the way except for Flora, Jean? Undine sucked ass as a character and was whinier than Raki.

Raki isn't as important? honestly? Clare would be dead/awakened at least twice(possibly 3 times) without him. Rabona, and Ophelia being the most obvious.
In Rabona he was the element that brought her back from her awakening, in the case of Ophelia he entertained (aka distracted her) long enough for Clare to at least attach her legs.

Without Raki, Clare would be gone and vice-versa.

His role was almost exactly the same as Chibi-Clare's role to Teresa, the only real difference is Teresa ended up dead and Clare became a Claymore, while Clare is alive and Raki has become human Isley 2.0. (looks wise)

As for Raki being a crybaby, he has only cried 4-5 times in the manga, and most of them were justified.
1) Brother turned into a Yoma and tried to kill him. (Yoma that ate his family) He even tried to attack the damn thing.
2) Clare was forced to kill her only friend. (If you were his age and saw that, you would probably do the same)
3) Clare being on her death-bed in Rabona. (Most important person in his world was dying)
4) Clare about to get a mercy killing from Galk. (Same as above)
5) Seperating from Clare with Ophelia chasing them. (May never see her again)

For a 13-14 year old kid he does extremely well considering the circumstances he lives in.

I promise that most people would probably do worse in his situation.

Talking about red rep, I think my case is very funny. I read many forums. I used to find and post the Chn -> Eng translation in chapter discussion thread several months ago. I posted it many times until chapter ???. (Can't remember) My post got deleted and I suddenly received red card warning by Mod. I actually felt :twitch::eyebrow::uhoh::heh:

If it's wrong why the Mod only delete my post in that chapter. What's about the past chapter? It really made me LOL, actually when I found that in the following month. Someone posted the Chn -> Eng translation instead of me and Mod didn't do anything. Up to now you can see that many people even post a link to read the manga both Chinese and English. I think Mod have already stopped checking Claymore thread for very long time since the anime ended.

At that time, I bet someone used report button to tell the Mod about my post. Really had no idea why he/she did that. I'm sure because the Mod who warned me didn't even post in Claymore thread before. And I always read the rule.

Yeah, it sucks when someone belittles your work or claim it's his (I've had a script I coded stolen and claimed wasn't mine) but that's the internet. If you really value your work that much, don't publish it.

because sharing is good =D? If you're so afraid of your images being stolen, use a watermark right at the middle or something (makes the image rather ugly but at least you worry less about having your stuff robbed). You could also lower the pixel size (I think) to make sure no one can print then sell your work. Then again, I never had that problem (thanks to my lack of talent) but those are 'preventive' ways I've read about. Of course, you could not submit your works in the internetz at all. It's really up to you.

I think your judgment of fanartists sharing their works is a little extreme... many of them don't mind having it modified or integrated into other works if given proper credit for the work. Is stating "this person did that part of the work" so difficult? I really don't think so... -__-; imo, it's not the fanartist's fault if some morons don't have enough decency to respect his/her work.

My tutorial taught me how to do it with a photo of a girl

I tried it with myself, stopped halfway through and tried with that image.

Its much easier when applied to a manga image than real life image i think

You basically use photoshop and posterize the image then use the pen tool to add the coloured areas in different layers

Yeah i colored that, but that version is kindda old...
The other versions were not much better though...i never liked that drawing's lines so the shading (or my skills) couldnt be helped...

Rafaela came out much better IMO...

But you said the coloring style reminded you, actually i'am not really following a fixed style as far as i'am aware, mostly i follow the crap shading style which is pretty variable :p

That metallic skirt is called faulds and it is one of parts of real-world plate armor. IMO it would be odd if male claymores didn't have them.

I think it would be impossible to do something like that on MS Paint, and I think the crotch is there, just shaded. BTW this is the fanart that most resembles Yagi's style I've ever seen, looks like a perfect copy from the manga

@MisterJB: Thats not Clare's symbol, Clare's symbol isn't upside down, its Deneve's symbol which is what I don't understand.

I think it isn't Deneve's symbol either. It looks more like mirrored Cynthia's symbol. Such symbol is on one of swords which Clarice found in scene 65.

I think it could be Undine's sword (the one from her friend), but I didn't find any frame where the symbol would be clearly visible.
