Honestly, I don't get it: People getting upset because there are too many pictures in an image thread. :D It doesn't bother my system.

It's just annoying going through all the images when you are looking for something. That and isn't it a rule for this thread that everything should be in spoiler tags unless it is a thumbnail?

Yeah, I agree, it's annoying when the page gets too long...

About the quiz, some of the questions were too easy; and it would've been nice if somewhere was said that it takes out of your time too to put in your info, maybe then I wouldn't have bothered to look for an avi several minutes, and at the end it turned out too big...

This thread is dedicated to letting you share Claymore related images. You may post wallpapers, doujin art, gif or flash animations, etc. that you have found or created.

Some things to remember when posting: We do not allow the sharing of high-resolution art-book and untranslated manga scans or CG taken directly from the game. You should give appropriate credit to the creator of the image. Where possible use space separated thumbnails for very large images. Keep any risqué content in clearly marked spoiler tags.


Spoiler tags are only required for for large images and nudity, which is how I've been using them. Again, about it being annoying, that is a matter of taste; I would find having a bunch of thumbnails, for the sake of finding an image, annoying, and I'd be very unlikely to click-through. I also find having spoilers for many images cumbersome, it would require me clicking, a lot, too much for my tastes. I don't understand the looking for something argument: how would hiding images help you find something? Maybe, it does for specific poster searches, but if you forget who the poster was it would make it harder. Anyway, it is still a matter of taste; I see the image thread as a gallery where ya browse through, like walking through the halls, looking at the pictures hanging up in the forum. The whole spoiler thing for non-nude, non-large pictures sorta seems more akin to covering up the pictures in the gallery, so now you are walking through a hallway where every single picture is hidden. :) Anyway, why single me out too? It seems like the majority of the people who bother to post pics don't hide them in spoilers.

Anyway, another thing about long pages, it is not my fault that the forum software doesn't allow for page breaks after a big post. I would gladly add a page break if I could. :D

No I don't, but it looks like it does in the anime when the bandits rip Teresa's clothing, you can kind of see how far it goes. I think I have seen it a couple times in the manga too. I suggest looking at the scene in the anime.

EDIT: I just checked that scene, looks like I was wrong. I'm not sure about in the manga though, I will have to look.

The reason why included the neck cloth in the image is because i wanted to put Teresa's symbol...if it didnt have the cloth i would have to put on the skin :p

The quiz is indeed harder. I was wrong 3 questions but...
Is there any evidence about sword's grip color? Because I think that they are just random color in anime. And I always stick with manga so it's no doubt that I got them all wrong. -_- Really have no idea what color it is. And they also consume much of my time. Another question which I'm wrong is about team distribution in the north.

Some questions really made me wasted of my time unnecessary. Such as

"sword's grip color questions" <-- I don't know what grip means. I have to use my dictionary. LOL :heh:

"How many AB?" <-- I'm not sure it you include Alicia.

"How many type of Claymore?" <-- I'm not sure if you include Alicia/Beth type. They are special type according to data book.

"Who made a fatal wound to Jean? (Anime)" <-- Is it really that different between anime and manga?

"Why Flora meet in private with Clare?" <-- This question should be labeled as anime because the answer is different in manga.

Because it's a hard quiz that's why I felt hesitate that the quiz might try to trick me. I really was thinking too much. I thought that you wouldn't make it too deep in detail so I made the correct answer in the end. :p

I know about defensive/offensive type. I wouldn't consider myself a fan if I didn't know a basic detail like that. :eyespin: But Alicia/Beth are different. They are not both defensive or offensive according to data book.

About the sword's grip color, I never knew or heard before that it has differentiate between offensive/defensive or high/low range. Can someone tell me if it's officially stated? I always think that it's just a random color in anime with no relevance. Correct me if I'm wrong though. :)

If you carefuly lurk the anime details the grip colors always follow the same pattern: Ranks 1-9 always have the same color no matter if offensive or defensive, the rest have one color for offensive and other for defensive.
The best example is at the end of episode 26 when you see Helen, Miria and Deneve together discussing what they will do next, you can see there the 3 types.

Err...they already existed, that was the stage of the 2nd image by the time i finished the first one (and remains like that).
I dont know if i will finish the second one, usually i put my hands on it when i'm bored, also the fact i dont own the drawing doesnt help my motivation :upset:

Maybe we coul put Adult Raki hugging them all from behind... XDD
