Somehow I doubt that. First off, she's not in some weird crying pose or looking really screwed up. One second thought, this could be Clarice or Rafaela. I don't think Yagi would be posting full-size images of Priscilla nude, simply because she is now a child.

Sure she used to be a teenage fighter, but she's doesn't look like that anymore. My guess is Yagi is hinting at the look of Rafaela or Clarice's "Ghost-style" leg stockings. Half the time, looking at this, it occurs to me Yagi is attempting to create a Claymore pinup magazine.

One way that you can tell it is Raphaela and not Priscilla is because of the hair, when Priscilla was in her teenage form her hair was cleaner. The girl in that pic looks more like Raphaela, and that is the easiest way to notice, by looking at her hair. Plus she is looking to the left, maybe Yagi did this to hide the scar on her face.;)

Are you sure about that? Because Agatha only appeared in volume 14 and the anime ends around volume 12.

From what I remember (and strictly from memory), the anime ended sometime around the time the extra chapters were coming out (between the 2nd and before the 4th if memory serves). The extra chapters were right after Clarice and Miata standing outside a city with "a very strong claymore" in it. That's only about 2 or 3 chapters before Agatha appeared.

I suppose the manga has the same thing; really fast attacks make the characters looks like they explode from the inside-out(battle with Rigardo for instance), it's definitely very bloody in general, but damn if the anime doesn't push it over the top. My mouth was gaping open when I saw Teresa's slayers(at the execution) have blood fissure out of their shoulders for at least 3 seconds flat and they just stand there until they finally fall down. What.The.Heck :twitch:

Is Japanese Kanji really that different from Chinese in its written form? I was under the impression, having heard from various Japanese friends of mine, that reading and understanding Chinese characters is not out of the question for them. Of course, there's a caveat: they don't understand everything they're reading.

Japanese also has a phonetic alphabet (2 actually) that it uses quite heavily. As a result, while some words may be understandable to a japanese reader looking at chinese, almost all parts of speach are lost to them (particles, cojugations, etc). Couple that with a substantial dose of new kanji that japanese people don't use, and different ways of saying even the things they do use, it's enough to confuse even native Japanese speakers. I'm still only learning Japanese - I don't have a prayer. I don't even have the foggiest idea of how a chinese sentence is composed - for all I know, they read diagonally from the upper right to the lower left, with verbs first...

Unfortunately for him, revenge has been the foundation of Clare's life since Teresa's death. I'm not calling her a monster, but she's clearly not a nice person from everything we've seen since then. MAYBE he can hold her back, maybe he can't. Maybe Priscilla senses Teresa inside of Clare and goes berserk, or maybe she's just hungry. Maybe Raki lives, maybe he doesn't. The possiblities are endless.

But I'm hoping, despite how very dark Claymore is, that it's resolved SOMEHOW without death. You also have to take into account that Clare just isn't powerful enough to kill Priscilla whether she likes it or not. Is she gonna sic Raciella on her? Perhaps, but I get the feeling Clare wants to fight Priscilla herself, she's not strategic and logical enough to come up with that. Would she Awaken to fight her? Possibly.....she's uncontrollable, emotional with a stubborn iron will nobody can break. Nevertheless, it would be cruel for Priscilla to be finished off when she's finally headed in the right direction.....but just about everything else that's happened in Claymore has been cruel in one way or another.

Ugh, too much to think about, my mind's started to melt :eyespin:

It is out of proportion, but not by a huge deal. Claymores are very large longswords after all, which is why they never have scabbards.

The claymore fan community may be intellectually brighter than most, but it seems tact lessons escaped most here (I'm looking at you, Kayin and Arkham-those comments were completely insulting and completely uncalled for-what has that lady ever done to you to deserve such vile comments about her looks? :confused::upset: )

Put yourself in her shoes for a moment would you? Would you like to go a fan convention, wearing cosplay costumes from claymore, and then see your picture online with comments like the ones you just posted next to it? She may be older than you, and you may not care for her looks, but calling her a "man in drag" is incredibly harsh. :(

The only thing she's guilty of is her over-enthusiasm for doing cosplay work that may not suit her. If either of you were to do cosplay and received similar comments to what you both posted, would you like it?

And no, I'm not so much mad as I am aggravated. You should put more thought into your comments than what you did. Just imagine the hellstorm you two would've unleashed if that had been a member of the "animesuki" claymore fan community. :uhoh:

I only wrote "borderline" because I didn't know the response I would get if I attacked directly.

Though now I do feel guilty for commenting on her age, but it's not like anyone ever said Cosplaying is only for little kids. It's what she likes to do and should be praised for the effort in making the costume and having a picture taken with Clare's cold demeanor, that's what you call a real fan. I HAVE had costumes made fun of that I dressed for holidays(as I've never cosplayed before), but I take it in stride for the occasion. It must be worse on her just because she's doing it for fun.

It's absolutely fine if you want to critique something you see; you just have to be smart and polite about it and understand what it must feel like on the other hand receiving what you say. Randomly walking in like Kayin, blatantly insulting and walking out is just rude and uncalled for, especially from someone unfamiliar.
