Can anyone translate?

Can't quite tell what Rigardo is saying exactly (there's a character that I can't recognize nor have I ever seen). I recognize the latter part of his quote but I can't quite figure out its exact context. Flora seems to be saying "I said, what noisiness do they have"

It reminds me of Jean, and only Jean for that matter. It's very close to Jean's look, though the hair strands need to be closer-grouped for the look to be a perfect match. That also would be aided by a colossal real sword, a well-made outfit, and metal faulds (upper leg guards made of steel plate mail armor-http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faulds_%28plate_armour%29). I can imagine you might ring up a $5000 bill (or around 3700 Euros) just trying to create that "perfect" Claymore image.

Of course, that's after you made sure to get it all fitted correctly...

Hard to tell without seeing the bottom of the face...it could go either way. There are a number of guys with very androgynous faces. I myself profess to having seen a guy with a very effeminate face that played tricks on my mind. One part of my mind saw a girl, while the other part of my mind heard a guy's voice. Guys with effeminate faces can really mess with another guy's mind. Your eyes keep telling you to look while your conscious thoughts steer you away.

Well to be fair, in the previous two images (here (http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost.php?p=2450509&postcount=9288) and here (http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost.php?p=2452356&postcount=9300)) there were some shiny spots on the characters' skin. This made it look like they had oil on them. On the other hand, in this image only Clare's costume is shiny.

I do when I feel like it, I have original art to actually be srs about and work hard on. I'm not that into fighting, Yagi does it well enough already I don't feel the need to add inferior unnecessary junk. Same reason I rarely draw them in full Claymore armor, someone else is already covering that territory to my satisfaction. :|
I do some actiony with my Awakeneds and AB Teresa but I haven't gotten her to the perfection I need for more dynamic pictures.

I guess because Rigaldo fits the "bad ass prettyboy" archetype, so it made him one of the few attractive males in the Claymore series, this him getting paired up with several people, mostly Miria due to the association of speed and his words of praise directed towards her ability.

Of course, it still doesn't make sense when you consider the guy was literally ripping apart/trying to kill most of the people he is paired up with, and seemed to have no interest in how hot his targets happened to be.

No, but they mature. (My personal theory being that they grow up physically until theyr bodies have reached their peak, which would be around twenty, and from that moment on simply stop changing, meaning that they mature more or less like a normal person, but don't deteroriate with age. Well, I can't say I know when humans stop maturing and start aging... but I do know that the final parts of the human brain to mature averages in at 25 years of age... I believe it's the part that rationalizes/processes responsibility, but could be wrong but believe I'm correct on the part of the brain however I know I'm right about 25 (should double check, later...).

A remarkable, arresting and vivid take on the fleeting "fab 5". The composition, texture and dynamic are singularly superb. The richness of the piece could confuse someone looking for a OVA, if they were to see it on a DVD rack somewhere. A very good work which captures the heady rush of combat in Claymore, and Clare looks absolutely predatory in both respects :) .

Yes, I know :heh: . Though, I do remember someone on the this forum, possibly, saying that, before the tumult at Pieta, that it looked like the group was going to get a 5th half awakened member. When I watched the anime first, it certainly seemed that way; of course the later episodes and the manga proved the idea wrong. Still, the art is superb and rich in its make which I commend gladly.

Welcome to the board tomasxp, I hope your experiences here are pleasant.


Also, while browsing today, I happened upon, at least in my experience, an undiscovered take on an awakened being. From what I can tell, it is either Teresa, at a stretch, or most likely Clare fully awakened :confused: . The work is somewhat ambiguous, but quite arresting in its vividness. I found it on a Thai image board http://yaranaiko.net/post/list and here it is for us.

as for the pic you found Blue Pentacle, it's already been posted, but deson't matter I like it a lot, too. :D It quite nicely done. I think the artist took Clare's awakend form from pieta arc as reference for theresa's awakend form. however the left arm is different, which is because clare has Irene's arm. so in theresa's case according to logic both arms should look like the right. still very nice pic :D

As for Teresa, I would think her awakened form would resemble Clare's own form greatly, since Clare has Teresa's blood and her powers. So by definition, Teresa should have the same "horse" legs that Clare had. I like the drawing, but when you think about it, how does Teresa actually stand on those blades? I'm sure she doesn't fly all the time.

Also, while browsing today, I happened upon, at least in my experience, an undiscovered take on an awakened being. From what I can tell, it is either Teresa, at a stretch, or most likely Clare fully awakened :confused: . The work is somewhat ambiguous, but quite arresting in its vividness. I found it on a Thai image board http://yaranaiko.net/post/list and here it is for us.

Woah, talk about completely unexpected :twitch:

Definitely one of the better photos, because of the attempt at attention-to-detail, like the snow(or is that sand?) in the background. Like the hair which is alot redder then I expected. Could be just the make-up, but is she crying too?

My only complaint is one that's not her fault, her ethnicity; honestly would have preferred someone more European(though I guess that goes for all cosplayers in general). Her lips are big and stand-out too much and the same goes for her eye-lashes. Since make-up doesn't exist in this world, she didn't(and shouldn't actually) have tried so hard to look pretty, natural would have been best.

Shameless nitpicking aside though, definitely one of the better shots I've seen(alongside that one of Claire next to a waterfall or something). If the resolution was higher, might even be my wallpaper.

Love the style on her outfit and her face. Her awakened form should have been more "sleeker" though.

Masterful, beautiful and powerful. The work is a fitting and potent rendition of Alicia and her awakened form. The thematic aspect is superb with the pose and the looming, shadowy presence of her other self; the combination leaving a ominous, mysterious impression. The technical aspect is excellent too in composition, colour, texture and detail. The only notable modifications I would see would be that her cloak would be longer and with a little more armour behind. A fantastic work. :) ;)
