Irene and Opehlia probably just reacted to the hybridization process differently, some Yoma have pointed ears, and many ABs do as well.

I've noticed that some of the humans in Claymore have pretty pointed ears as well. The innkeeper in Volume 8, for example.

Also, Irene's ears aren't very pointed when she is first introduced. Then the mangaka changes them to pointy in just a few chapters.

I don't think the pointedness of the ears has anything to do with being half-yoma.

The eye/nose proportion compared with the face are a bit off, it doesnt look like galatea all that much yet.

Eyebrow tad smaller, and mouth needs adjusting..thats not a pretty format from the distance you look at her face. Ear could use some rounding, galatea has pretty big ears :p

Basicly, it's minor adjustments here and there, but since you drew it with a pen, it's tougher to get it right now :D.

To make her younger, make face slightly shorter and rounder nose.

Offcourse, wich art style are you choosing for her..the manga or anime one? XD

I haden't noticed she had a cross, but that's cool I mean eventually we'd find someone with a cross-mark, and Irenes character suits that. I mean that gives a far more mighty feeling, what if, let's say, Helen, had the cross symbol......

Or it jus corresponds with the first letter of her name same as Ophelias symbol, doent mean that the same goes for all Claymore's. Maybe Yagi-san had a creative block

After looking at so many fanarts here, I now realize what Claymore lacks: a light atmosphere. Most of the time, the claymores look like sad, zoloft-deprived zombies. I know it's a dark story, but putting a light atmosphere at certain points would probably make the manga/anime much more popular.

I swear claymore got some of the best character designs ever. The artist can make ppl obess over jobber characters that dont even last long and only have a few lines of dialogue in the anime. I. E flora, raphela etc etc
