As I think all of us already noticed :) , the world of Lucky Star features (and will feature) several characters, but it definitely revolves around the four main girls. In alphabetical order by given name:

Personally in real life, whether or not I end up liking a particular girl rests on three personality traits; for lack of better names in my memory, I'll call them "fighting spirit", "feminine self-awareness", and "reliability". However, just having one or more of these personality traits in abundance isn't enough; it is possible to have TOO much of any of these three traits, causing me to be turned off instead. Let me illustrate;
~ "Fighting Spirit" - how well a girl deals with being teased. This is important because how the girls responds to being teased indicates both her intellectual capacity and her mental strength, and consequently how much I'll enjoy her company. Too little of this trait means she's the type who is easily cowed, and therefore I'll find her boring since she doesn't "fight back" when teased. Too much of this trait basically means she's a bitch, and who likes bitches?
~ "Feminine Self-Awareness - how aware a girl is of her own feminity, and thus her own emotional needs. Too little of this trait means she's a tomboy, and I'm apt to treat her like a good friend, one of the guys...anything BUT a girl. Too much of this trait means she's so saccharine-sweet, I'll only be left gagging from diabetic overload.
~ As for "Reliability", since it's kinda hard to deduce this quotient of personality from the 4 Rakisuta girls based on what we've seen (and are likely to see for the rest of the series), I'll just base my preference on the remaining two traits.
So, giving each trait a 100-point rating, ranging from -50 to 50,
Konata:
Fighting Spirit ~ 30
Feminine Self-Awareness ~ -45
Fun as heck, but I just can't see her as a girl. She'll make a pretty good friend, but that's about it.
Tsukasa:
Fighting Spirit ~ -15
Feminine Self-Awareness ~ 20
Bland. Imouto-type, but nothing particularly outstanding to me.
Miyuki:
Fighting Spirit ~ -30
Feminine Self-Awareness ~ 50

As far as I'm concerned, when it comes to tsunderes, Kagami's the perfect blend. "Tsun" but not too "tsun", and "dere" coming out at just the right moments, she's my pick between the four. :D
I wonder who has more supporters... between Miyuki and Tsukasa? :heh: The two of them seem to get the least attention in the episode threads.
As for my vote... well, I think it is bloody obvious to most people by now. :heh: Here's something that I wrote a while back.

At this point, Kagami is love to me. Props must also be given to her VA in bringing out her scenes to life. From calm and collected, to haughty and harsh, to frantic and frenzied, to angry and annoyed, etc…
Kagami’s range of emotions is the broadest thus far, and she has transcended the pitfall of being pigeon-holed into one-two archetypes. She is the onee-sama, the tsundere, the straight-man (in the 2-man comedy team of her and Konata), the model student, etc…
It is hard to compare Kagami to other anime characters at this point, simply because she is a rather unique mix at this point. Kagami is Kagami, and I think that is one of her greatest strengths at this point.
Incidentally… Kagami-ism (http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/5808/kagami01ce8.jpg). There is currently a lot of Kagami-related (as in solely-focused on her) fanart floating around, along with Konata. :)

First, very nicely built poll (though a bit early and lacks the tier 2 characters) -- points for the pics and not just names.
I went into this series being a Konata fan... but seeing Kagami animated and voiced each episode has drifted me into Kagami's camp. Though a certain someone I know looks more like Konata -- she *acts* more like Kagami which biases me.
Seriously this is poll of the trivialities... of the 4 choices they're all quite entertaining... though Miyuki really gets left behind a lot -- keep an eye out for when more of her attributes are animated (hint: hand her a game controller). Tsukasa has been a submarine hit with all her little side comments and whispers.
It'll be interesting to rerun the poll after Nanako and Yui get more airtime (I suspect Nanoko may draw some attention at least). And depending on how they handle Konata's mom ... she could shear off some numbers :)
I'm voting for Konata.
I like each of the four main characters in there own respected way, though Konata is the one i enjoy seeing more. Her solo scenes are genius, with great humor that works on screen, as well as the manga.
If i wasn't voting for Konata, then it would be the lil' button Tsukasa.

I'm sorry to offend all you tsundere fans, but I'm gonna go with Konata. She's just so random, yet so clever, and we have so many things in common... (wait, isn't that actually something dangerous!? :D) And I usually tend to favor a lot the less "normal" characters. Kagami... she seems too normal to me. She's like the "voice of reality", the one that anchors Konata and the rest to the world. She reminds me too much of Yomi of Azumanga Daioh, and she wasn't a character I particularly liked. Though she's a bit more facetious than Yomi (and definitely much cuter) she still has this "normal" feel to her.
I know, I'm biased towards wacky characters. In AzuDai, Osaka and Tomo were my favorites. And now I've gotta go with Konata.

....I wouldve voted for Tsukasa as the runner-up...She is too cute and her actions remind me of myself somehow...(really liked her in episode 5!!!)
I like Kagami as the common sense ^^...(you cant have too many goofy-charas)
but Miyuki....ehmmm...nahhh..too unrealistic...I don't really like characters that are discribed as perfect-humans...she can be cute but still I can't really pay attention to her character development (I forgot her name a few times ^^")
I'll still a wait a few more eps before voting, I'm not too sure right now.
What I don't get though is why so many of you favor Kagami, as Wandering Night said she's got more of a "normal" feel to her, I don't find her particularly interesting.

It's Konata for me. Her personality is fun. How she teases Kagami is hilarious. That she's also an Otaku is also fun. Her appearance also wins. Wouldn't want her as a girlfriend or anything, but she is certainly my favorite in this show. Miyuki is a 2nd for me her up and down movement in the OP got me hypnotised. o_O Actually Kagami is also a good 2nd, since she more personality then Miyuki. How she reacts to Kagami is also hilarious. Tsukasa is just meh imo, she fails to impress. xp

She herself is denying many of her own character traits...which in my opinion makes her quite the normal human being. :heh:
I love Kona and Kagamiya both, but at present moment I'm loving Kagamiya more. My entire cellphone is Kagamiyaified, and my desktop has both Kona and Kagamiya on it... Though, if Kona weren't there, Kagamiya wouldn't be my favorite (we'd never see her teased)...
Awww Tsukasa's such a cutie, I'm glad she got a few too.
Konata for me! She's the kind of gamer/otaku girl that I can relate to. Not that I'm as obsessed as her ... really... >.>;

In the poll they have over at the sos-dan image board, Tsukasa was the one with the least amount of support; Though in here, Miyuki might be the one that ends at the bottom.
Wich would hardly be a surprise, btw. She has been given less than 10 minutes total in the last bunch of episodes, hardly enough for people to like her....... or hate her for that matter. :heh:

Oh yeah, out of all the main characters, Tsukasa is the one at the bottom, but the one less liked there is Akira.
I love Miyuki, she's really cute and intelligent. She always be here (here, with me :3~) for you. But my vote is from Konata, an otaku-mastah/master, she's better than me, she can study all she didn't do in two weeks and me can't :heh: . She's the Shana's clon, her moeness is incredible. She's my idol.

Seems like Kona-chan and Kagami are on top of the list! On another forum Konata has more votes than Kagami, Miyuki and Tsukasa. Definately only a otaku moe girl can win over a tsundre moe. :heh:
But Kagami has followers too...but Konata is uniting the flat chested girls. I think I know who's gonna win :P
For me, it's Kona-chan all the way. Her wit and otaku-ness simply bring her into a completely different level of "amazing" when it comes to judging the characters. It also helps that I can relate to her in many ways (although, I don't know if that's a good thing or not....:heh: ) I guess I'm just a sucker for the more otaku types. :o

Konata for me. Her otaku-ness far outpass anyone, and we have a lot in common (I consider this a good thing). That and she seems to know the perfect time and words to tease kagami, who would be my second favorite character on LS.

It seems Konata is the one still leading as of far...
If ever Akira will be involved I think she's gonna be the 2nd top character. I also think we need a multiple voting for all characters when all of them are introduced in the anime. :heh:
I'm not sure about Akira being the second top character... there are lots of fans of Kona and Kagami, and there seem to be a few people who really dislike Akira-sama. But you never know ne. :3

The best part about Kagamin is how she pretends that she's so much better than Konata, but she really isn't in terms of emotional stability and interests. A clash between conditioned responses and hobbies, if you will. For her, it's a lose-lose situation, as Konata freely exploits this fact in teasing while she constantly denies it.
If anything, she's the least normal one in the show. I think Konata realizes her place and gave up with hiding herself. It's great how she manages to tease the soft, vulnerable parts of Kagamin out of that hard shell.

Even though I like Kagami a lot, I don't Kagami think would have the same personality (or probably won't be as "tsun-tsun") if Konata isn't around. She'll just be the bossy slightly older sister. Heheheh...
I think the two are one of the better tandems in anime lately.

I'm going with Kagami. When I first started watching Lucky Star I liked Konata but only later do I realize that I like her because I see ME in her...and Kagami is always there to put Konata back into place. LOL
Kagami! Even in the 4koma(before the anime aired) I prefered Kagami over Konata. Must be the eyes.

I like Kagami's 'subliminal' personality, but Konata is just so.. amusing to watch. I love that she isn't affected whatsoever by social standards of normalcy. She doesn't seem to care that she stands out rather bluntly and has a very laid back personality. In that I relate to her quite well. Especially her obscure interests and eccentricity.
Compared to many characters, Konata seems like an ambivert. She attends social events without any problems and it looks like she doesn't talk to or make friends with random classmates due to disinterest [or too much interest in other things], instead of the typical shyness or angst towards people. This I like, since many characters are too stereotypically reserved, outgoing, or attention/love craving for my taste.
Though, given Konata's relaxed disposition, I wonder what she is afraid of, embarassed about, and so on.

Konata and Tsukasa are bothmy favorites, they both are so awesome an cute. Konata reminds me of me somtimes and same with Tsukasa.
I still haven't decided.
I went in expecting to like Konata best, but for a while she was nothing but a walking series of otaku cliches--or so it seemed.
After seeing Miyuki in action for a few moments, I wanted her to be the favorite, but we just didn't see enough beyond her "bag of moe/walking encyclopedia" modes.
Kagami, well... I've never cared for any tsundere type without seeing a good personality behind it. Which is just now starting to come out.
Tsukasa... Eh. Seems empty-headed. While there might be more there, we don't see it. Moving on.
So, basically... I haven't seen enough of the characters to begin to decide. For the most part we haven't seen their characters so much as their character traits bouncing off one another. That's something I noticed changing in episode 5. Hopefully we'll see more of that, and I'll be able to decide. :)
Tsukasa is my favourite =D She's cute. That's it.
.... Poor Miyuki, she appears less than other main characters in each eppisode so I don't give her much attention. She isn't my type either.

Putting it into fishing analogy, for me Konata was the bait and Kagami was the hook. Konata being an hardcore otaku gave me some point of reference in the show, as she's into many of the things I am as well. And many of the jokes (particularly the otaku ones) start from her. Without her, I probably would've dropped the show at eps 2/3 like I did with other shows like this (PPD, Azumanga, Hidamari, etc.).
HOWEVER, its Kagami that makes this show truly enjoyable for me. Yeah, there's her phsyical traits that I find cute, like her eyes and her hair (tied up hair isn't really my thing, but the way her twin tails gets parted by her shoulders certainly is a unique aspect of her). But that aside, her being the voice of reason (and thus providing most of the 'punch' lines) in this series differentiates her from the other girls. She also has the widest range of emotions out of the girls, being the only one to have both cried and got angry if my memory haasn't failed me. All of this makes her stand out from the other mains, as she feels more real than any other character.
So in short, I was a Kona fan, but somewhere along the way I turned into a Kagami fan.

This took me longer to figure out than I would have thought. Konata was my initial draw to Lucky Star and she's still a very memorable character, but Kagami just barely beat as my favorite. Too often, Konata seems like a walking stereotype while Kagami feels like a more fully developed character.
Dragoon's post seems to be a common refrain for many Kagami fans :)

Touché. I hadn't thought of her as an anti-stereotype and concede that is a more accurate description. Her interests sometimes make me wonder if she's truly a long haired, short guy in a sailor fuku. I think some of her actions in episode 5 have put that notion to rest.
Still, I have to give my vote to Kagami for now. Though, if I could vote again, I suspect my vote would flip in an episode or three...

My name says it all. And yes, she is my favorite anime character of all time. I showed interest from the first time she showed her interests, and episode 5 has totally solidified my love for this character.
Konata's funny, quirky, sarcastic and is indifferent in showing, well... her indifferences. It breaks stereotypes in that there's this girl who's a hardcore otaku/gamer. She's probably that rare girl who most guy otakus would probably die in order to have, because the odds of having a girl who's really into the same hobbies as them is pretty rare. I'm into anime and know more than just the casual fan, but I have never been so dedicated into my interest as she is.
Another thing that I love about her is that she is more than just an otaku/gamer. This is proven in episode 5. Like in episode 4, I really like how she can tolerate much more crap thrown at her. While Kagami usually freaks out or gets depressed over the things that Konata says, Konata just usually gives Kagami a :eyebrow: stare. Yet, when Nanako chastises her somewhat for not doing homework, she makes a comment about how Kagami chastises her at school every day. Also, she shows interest in guys and her attempt to flirt with the guy was pretty awesome.
I am also starting to become a fan of Kagami, partly due to the Konata-Kagami interactions, but in episode 5 Kagami shows signs of being a more interesting character. The fan scene shows this side of her very well. There's more to Kagami than meets the eye, and I would love to see this aspect of her character chipped away and explored (and even more if Konata is the instigator).
I really hope that in the end Kagami and Konata become three-dimensional characters instead of solely being portrayed as stereotypes, but then again, this is an anime which relies on humor to attract viewers in lieu of a good plot. I also hope that Tsukasa (though she has shown a little in episode 5) and Miyuki become more than just 'lol filler characters'.
If they are able to cover more of the 4-koma strips, their "stereotypes" should melt away to real personalities with a variety of quirks, foibles, and individual neuroses. All done in little 4-panel increments.
Seriously... as funny as Lucky_Channel was the first pile of eps --- its a seriously unnecessary piece of padding for all 24ish episodes unless something dramatically different happens in it.

I like her character which always makes funny interaction between her and Konata. Also she has many hobbies as me, light novel, snack...(eg Pocky lol). She is very hardworking which is completely oppisite to Konata, right? Well, I believe Konata has so many supporters because she is not a "stereotypes" girl who has lots of same interests as guys. Many boys (Otaku) prefer to have a girlfriend like Konata, but it is not common after all. I watched some entertainment which is a interview to some female otaku in Taiwan before, they are exactly like Konata, but their lifestyles are so terrible...Well, I think Tsukasa is suppose to have lots of supporters, her character is very ordinary and cute. Miyuki is so perfect that no one dares approach her lol. Anyway, each character has their own charm.
BTW, where are other characters, like Yutaka? I also like Yutaka, she is very cuuuuuute. I wanna have such sister.

It's definitely too early for me to vote myself. Although right now it's a toss up between Kagami and Konata. Partially because the two are like a perfect duo. Which makes it even harder to decide between them.
As for the idea of including Akira. Even if she was included I probably wouldn't vote for her at all. I mean the idea of Lucky Channel was fun the first few times, but I agree with others that it's starting to become stale. Which is probably why it's such a short segment. Also while Akira can be cute when she's not being cranky, I don't really care that much for her as a character. I may like cute girls, but I also realize there are plenty of better options out there.
Even though I feel moe to most almost anything :D, I voted for Tsukasa, her voice and the way she mumble is way too cute.

KyoAni doesn't like explicit Yuri? The twins in FMP!TSR require your immediate attention. For IMPLIED explicit Yaoi, refer to FMP!Fumoffu. :heh:

Alas for the wishes of "hot yuri action" or whatever.... It isn't that KyoAni is "anti-ecchi" or "anti-yuri" ... its that nothing like that happens in the source material (the 4-koma comic). The most you're going to get is off-handed comments by Kona that imply she's either interested in such stuff or she just likes messing with the minds of her friends. Episode 5 establishes pretty clearly the girls are primarily interested in hetero but are all boyfriendless (except for Yui)
konata, shes just too damn funny and random. kagami is in 2nd. akira is funny also from her bipolar attitude, you never know when she's going to turn moody or not
I find it amusing how the supposed moe queen as thought of in the anime has the least number of votes by far.
I like Konata in the context of the anime and I LOVE the :3 smile, but Kagami seems more attractive from a real life perspective. She's the most balanced I guess since she's works hard, but at the same time also enjoys gaming and stuff.

I like Tsukasa as she's sleepy, like Osaka, or the dormouse in Alice in Wonderland. Kagami is more like the duchess and Konata the mad hatter. Miyuki is.... maybe Alice ?
Anyhow I like how Tsukasa wanders into scenes still half asleep in her pyjamas hours after everyone else is up and about, she's pretty funny without even having to do anything.
I like konata coz she's so totally like me. That kind of person who MMOs the whole day, sets a time limit for his/her own self and then when he reaches that time, happily tells himself that he should wait for another 30 minutes :D Also, i like konata's "I dont really feel like giving a damn about everything everyone thinks is important" attitude. Makes for a good comedy factor.

I'm one of the few who picked Miyuki. Sometimes stereotypical characters are nice :cool: . It was a hard decision, at first I thought Konata (for what she likes), then Tsukasa (she's so cute), then I arrived at Miyuki (Kagami is a little to quick to anger, though most people seem to like her...similar to the huge Suiseiseki fanbase). But I agree with Konata, Miyuki is pretty perfect.

I'm going with Konata. She's the kind of character that I've always wanted to see in an anime. I can relate myself to her too much, It's like the makers watched me and put me up on an anime. (Creeeepy thought too. O_O) Otaku's are just awesome. I bet she could beat me in ANY game, and people say I'm hard to beat... XD;
I'll have to go secondly with Kagami. I like how she was planned out, and how she can sorta snap when forced to. (Mostly by Konata.) She's nice to her sister, yet doesn't fully understand Konata. I start to like Kagami more as the series unfolds.

This is what I think is hurting Miyuki the most right now. The one chat she gave in the last episode was particulary boring. >_< !!!
And she having 1 - 3 minutes of screentime per episode is not helping her much either. :p
Konata all the way! She is hyper, and reminds me of myself. I have nothing against the rest of the characters, their all pretty good.
The only unexpected thing about Miyuki i've seen so far is that she is really good at one particular game, she beated Konata's high score the first time she tried, and Konata coudn't beat Miyuki no matter how she tried after that.

Kagami is anything but normal. :heh: As already discussed in the episode threads, Kagami is only "acting" normal, but her "wavelength" is actually more in tune with Konata than what society (Japanese in this case) would perceive to be "normal".
Part of the fun in the K&K dynamic is that Konata is aware of Kagami's inner "deviant". :heh: Kagami's archetype is very varied at this point. To pin her to only one or two archetype(s), is to ignore her other character traits.

I also suspect Tsukasa might have "stolen" some votes from Kagami since as it is quite clear right now, after a period of slight advantage for Konata, now there's absolutely no match (+29 at the moment I'm writing. And remember, at the very beginning, almost no one was voting for Tsukasa). My theory is that episodes 6 and 7 somehow shuffled the distribution of votes we were having on this poll with the opinions formed with episodes 1-5.
Finally, it's curious to see how three characters together are not enough to par Konata:
Kagami (54) + Tsukasa (21) + Miyuki (6) = Total 81 , while Konata alone makes a total of 83.
It will be interesting to see a take 2 of this in the future.

I like them all. Tsukasa had a great ep this week (ep7). I think they'll all have good eps by the time we get to 24.
But Konata is the star of the show. A unique character well played.
Unless something drastic happens, Kagami will remain my favourite. :) It actually makes sense for Tsukasa to feature prominently. The main dynamic pairing in Lucky Star is that of Konata and Kagami, and where there is Kagami, her twin sister, Tsukasa, naturally follows. It is a package deal.
Miyuki suffers because she is an entirely separate package.
Maybe they will do another change of director, and shift the focus onto Miyuki. :p

All the girls are quite adorable (and Tsukasa scores well in recent skits) but yeah... Kagami is extra special. However, its another ensemble thing... for Kona, Kagami, and Tsukasa to really work they have to play off of each other.
Poor Miyuki is kind of odd wheel out (even in the manga). It gets even worse for her as other characters are introduced. I suspect the author ran into a mental block on what else to do with her ... hence we start getting appearances from other relatives and classmates. Miyuki still has a few good scenes ahead (assuming they stick to source material, though they're re-arranging a lot of it).

Ah, Yutaka-chan. Hmmmm, this poll would very likely have a big difference if the other characters were accounted for. I'm hoping when Yutaka,etc appear in the anime it'd be a memorable and impressing moment...but then again, with Lucky Star's tempo they'd just walk out of nowhere and then become a regular. i have to agree that tsukasa's ratings are going up...
but for me i had begin to favor tsukasa over kagami after that "balsamic vinegar" episode... and given that the new director has been adding focus to tsukasa these recent episodes i won't see it as impossible if she had a high ranking in the next character polls... thats is if they continue to showcase more of tsukasa... but even if her screen time would decline (i hope not) she would still have my vote...
and tsukasa singing just overloaded me with moe~:D

Seriously though Konata's popularity amongs people maybe because in every episode she shows new faces, styles of laughing, giggling, movements and she's pretty entertaining just look at her face it'll give you a smile in no time. Kagami on the other hand is a tsundre, which is "ALWAYS IN" and popular amongs many anime fans. Tsukasa is the gentle/nice type girl that is somewhat forgetful sometimes which is quite good and cute that makes her likable and as for Miyuki like Minoru said, she's kind, gentle smart eaasy to approach and has big busts and another plus is her glasses, the nerdy clumsy girl that is the in betweener among the group is never least. ;)
But I always go for the most unique girl in ANY anime seires. As for now Konata hits me my heart HARDER than any other anime girl characters i've seen this '07.
To me, Kagami is my choice. She is just playing hard-to-catch ;) and thats what makes her cute on her own way. Konata is just plain loli, Tsukasa-type characters are quite enough and Miyuki is... well, not really my type of character at all!

Of course, in my yesterday's speech, I forgot to state as Kagami is and will be (unless the oceans reverse) my unreachable number 1. She just owns all the elements hitting on me such as sweetness, cuteness, tsundereness, strong temperedness and so on. besides there's no other character that cracks me up just by saying "Nanda to ?" :heh:
I think that her seiyuu - Emiri Katou - also has a key role for having me like her so much ; I do recognize that Hirano Aya as Konata is at one of her best career's performances (almost certainly the best after Haruhi). But as far as this series is concerned, I still like Kagami more. This, despite I'm using a double Tsukasa combo as sig/ava at the moment :p

...Konata always seems to gain "something" during every ep...just in this ep she got to me with her ring tone of "Hare Hare Yukai"...and her mail adress. LOL
...not to mention on how she started the episode off.
If you asked me who was my favorite character in earlier episodes, I would have no doubt answered Konata, but having seen up to episode 7 now, I am probably leaning more towards Kagami. Her personality is just so adorable.
Does anyone else here love that little hand wave Konata does? It's kind of like something an old lady would do!

She combines top-student, didactic prig, good pal, deeply courteous ojou-sama, glasses, and dojikko-moe, and more aspects of her character may come out. And Endou Aya's voice is interesting. Although Japanese otaku can seem strange, some posters on 2channel seem to have a pretty subtle understanding of what's going on in their favorite shows, or at least with their favorite types of character.
On the other hand, I did find it weird that the full results list included votes for a number of characters that haven't appeared yet, apparently on the basis of their seiyuus (Chihara Minori's character got a lot of votes).
If the sig isnt a give away, My vote went to konata. Kagami and co are nice, but i think my second fav would have to be Yui, looking foward to seeing if theres more development with her character in the rest of the series.

Like a lot of other posters my vote was between Kagami and Konata. I voted for Kagami cause it was love at first sight. I just think shes the cutest looking out of the bunch, but then again I have a thing for twin tails. I was pretty much hooked from the moment she said "super bad boy" from the a.f.k subs.
Konata is second cause she is cute in that I'm a little otaku kinda way. I wish I had a friend like that in which to share my interests. She also shows a lot of the lazy characteristics that I have. Which coincidentally are the same characteristics of a lot of college age students haha:heh:

Sorry, I can't quite pick. I keep comparing them to my g/f who mixes the best qualities of Konata (avid gamer and anime mania) and Kagami (my g/f may not believe I think she's tsundere) with a dash of Tsukasa's sweetness.

Lol I'm totallly maniac in anime and manga (well instead of spending my money on the stuff, I sort of get mines the "bad" way lol) I'm also a crazy avid gamer, but I wouldn't choose Konata unfortunately (well i'm thinking this in terms of my old quote before, who would I want as a wife if they do exist) even though I see the her in me. It's hard on me, but I would choose Tsuuka. (Btw I'm a guy, just in case you're wondering lol ><)

Well it makes sense Kona and Kagami would get most of the votes since a large portion of the show's comedy comes from those two.
Personally I went with Kagami because she isn't just the tsundere character (though I do love that), she also joins in a bit with Konata's world. To me she is the most interesting and layered character of the series but can still make me laugh with how she relates with Kona-chan.
My favourite liking has changed from Konata to Kagami and now I finally voted for Tsukasa :heh: . Kona-chan and Kagami are the dynamic duo, but Tsukasa is cute and she began to shine in the latter episodes :)

i've never though of it, but, sharing almost exactly the same personality with a anime charackter is... well, funny
with every episode it's more like "i'm watching my alter ego, animated"

My favorite is Kagami. She has a lot appealing qualities. She's hard-working and puts a lot more into her schoolwork than I ever did. But her most endearing qualities shows up when she's interacting with Konata. Like her namesake, it's when she's reflecting the light coming from Konata does she truly shine.
Konata is like a bright sun. She shines whether alone or with others, so that makes her my other favorite. Overall, I like Kagami the most in the series. But as a stand-alone character without needing others around, Konata would be my top pick.

First, let me remind that this is a poll about the 4 main characters, so it's not related with the classic favorite character poll. (meant for all the characters)
To put characters in a "favorite" poll, they doesn't need just to appear, they also need to be established (ie. 3-4 episodes of screentime). Yutaka had 1, Minami a few sentences, Patty Martin has yet to be mentioned. The data for the creation of a character poll are still incomplete and at this rate, it's likely it will be created at the end of the series. It was my original intention to create it around the half of the series, but I couldn't figure that the new characters' appearances would have been so delayed.
A version 2 of this poll (main characters - single choice) will be created at the end as well, to see how much the numbers will change compared to the beginning (or if you prefer: to see how much votes Tsukasa gained XD )
That will make 3 characters poll globally and I think that would be fair enough.
Animesuki already has a pretty well established procedure for when they make/allow character polls.

1) To create a poll I want that all the characters I'm gonna include have not only appeared, but also established. By established I mean that they got a regular screentime, not a quick appearance (or some quick appearances). Besides there are also characters yet to be introduced, like Patty Martin.
2) Since we're nearest the end of the series than the beginning, it would have no sense to create it now anyway. Especially considering that a favorite character poll after the series is over is a must.
3) Do not confuse this poll, for the 4 main characters only, with the favorite characters poll. This one is single choice, and will have a version 2 at the end of the series. The favorite poll will be multiple choice.
That will make 3 characters poll globally and I think it's fair enough for a 24 episode series.
4) Finally, as a Moderator I can include up to 20 options instead of 10, so don't worry that we'll (hopefully) find room for everyone.

It was said in the manga they where childhood friends. As I always say first start out as friends then later on end up as lovers :heh: ~_~ Mish mushy XD
Finally decided on kagami after hesitating so long. I wanted to choose tsukasa but kagami's personality won over me in the end.

Picked Konata. Kagami's got more 'omfg I'm going to die' moments(y helo thar episode 15's concert scene), but Konata's more consistently made me like her.
Started out as Konata but as episodes passed Kagami won me over :)
wow i had no idea that her dad and mom knew each other when they were little..still i think her parents are a wierd couple..cute but wierd.

Hmm, it was originally Miyuki as I have a thing for meganekko's, but as Kagami became more deredere for Konata, she won me over. Moar Kagami plz.

I got one reason. Pigtailed Tsundere's are always in and it's quite a anime series abuse since most of them are ALWAYS popular. That's why imho some like me go for the unique character that gives cuteness and fun fun fun. I feel Iam starting to sound like Nagato Yuki whenever saying "UNIQUE" :heh:

Kona-chan's really my ultimate, no-second-thought-needed favorite. She's really unique and, at a lack of better words; extremely awesome. Tsukasa would be my second choice, since she's so incredibly adorable and gentle.
