During the Team Shika/Kakashi fight, Kakuzu also said Naruto was a jinchuuriki out loud in front of Ino and Chouji. They had no reaction. So I guess all of Naruto's friends know.

I always thought that the rookie 9/Team Gai were in the dark about Naruto being a jinchuuriki. I figured there would be a big reveal and people like Hinata would be in shock. But it looks like Kishi just skipped over it and has everyone know. I guess it makes sense, but I was looking forward to everyone's reaction. It might have been a good chance for character development.

There are brief passages of time between some chapters. Naruto could have revealed it to his friends when he returned after the rescue gaara arc.

Yeah. The only explanation is that every team was part of the Niju Shotai and they learned that Naruto was the Akatsuki target at that moment. It still doesn't explain why Naruto wouldn't be a little worried about everyone's reaction. That was his greatest fear. You could say Kishi did it off screen, but that would be lazy writing for such a big plot point of Part 1.

I honestly expected this to be a big moment in Part 2. When all of Naruto's friends learn the truth. It was such a secret in Part 1 and now it's like no big deal. :eyebrow:

Not the others. I think Hinata's reaction would be nice to see. (how would she act knowing about it...would she still love him etc. etc.) OR these guys dont even know what a jinchuuriki is.

You know i really doubt that. Sakura is smart...she's been with Naruto for sooo long. I doubt she didnt knew but all the others who've seen Naruto only a few times a week/month knew about it.

Unless Sakura was literaly blinded by love for Sasuke and never noticed anything around or that has to do with Naruto.

I think they all probably know, but are required not to talk about it. I mean it makes not sense to have Naruto team up with other teams to go against akatsuki, who are obviously after jinchuurikis and not tell them. I felt that Sakura knew about the Kyuubi or atleast that Naruto was different.

Well, Sakura didn't see Naruto going berserk against Haku (there was the Mist from Kakashi-Zabuza's fight and the mirrors between Sakura and Naruto) nor the Gaara fight (she was unconscious). Zabuza and Kakashi react to Kyuubi's chakra, but Sakura doesn't, so she probably was totally unaware of what was going on at the time.

All she knows is that Naruto has a very good stamina and leaked out some red chakra which made him become faster against Neji. It's not enough to make her figure he has the world strongest monster inside his belly. Especially when she does not know what is a bijuu (chapter 256 page 11)

That's why I also mentioned that she atleast seemed to notice that Naruto was different... I agree maybe she didn't know at that time, but at that time she was just learning about akatsuki. I think though now that it's established what akatsuki is after that any team going after akatuki members would be told what akatsuki's goals are and that it would make sense to tell teams that they team up with about naruto...

During the gaara rescue arc is was indeed revealed to Sakura, however iirc it was then revealed that she knew "something" was up because she read some documents concerning Narutos training or w/e, hoever she didn't know the exact details etc.
