Three more episodes left till the end...
Light seems to be out-maneuvered by Near. Guess without being able to plan in advance and not being sufficiently familiar with Near character, Light has somewhat of a disadvantage.
Can't wait to see how it all ends...

near has pretty much all the evidence he needs now...its going to be trouble for light when he decides to finish things...tension is high as mello will be returning! :D

Gevanni was the best in this episode...glad none of his moments were really cut out or rushed. Kinda altered an Aizawa and Near scene from the manga I was hoping to see unaltered...ah well, still turned out pretty nicely.

Ahhh...It's such a hard decision. I don't know if I should wait for volume 12 to come out in July to finish the series or watch the anime episodes. T_T it's such a hard choice.

Quick question, so we all know how giovanni's trailing mikami and Near ordered him to touch the notebook because he wanted to see if there was a shinigami following Mikami or not. Was that the FAKE NOTEBOOK with pages from the real death note? Does TAKADA have the real death note yet? and who previously owned it? :confused: misas or light? sorry for the confusion

I believe that Death Note was owned by Misa's. Light wanted Misa to give up her DN ownership and its pages are with Takada (Mikami gave her the DN as instructed by Light)

Poor Misa, doesn't have a clue...

Did anyone else laugh when they saw Near's toy collection of everyone, specially Mello. LOL.
Matsuda sure is a clown in this episode - wonder if he would have acted that way if the chief was there.

Okay one question regards death note ownership
Who is Ryuk attached too? I mean would he have been attached to that death note Mikami had?

I'm really proud of myself! I have not read the manga or looked at any spoilers for this anime, and I have no idea what will happen at the end....I just hope that it wouldn't disappoint.

This episode was a bit slow, and also abit frustrating....Aizawa is really annoying! Why can't he just be happy with the new crimeless world! Human's are pathetic....we're never satisfied!

Is it me, or are these last few episodes being kindda rushed? The plot seems to be all over the place and it's a bit confusing...it's kindda frustrating how at the start of a series they waste airtime with pointless fillers, and then near the end they squeez all the exciting and important stuff into 3/4 episodes!:(

I thought so, but then Mikami hasn't given up ownership. Besides Takada has only got pages. Ahh well, it'll be revealed. I'm missing Ryuk though we'd he go? Lol.
I shall also apologize, I just realized my question was pretty similar to the one above mine. Skim reading doesn't work for me.
I'm still laughing about Near though.

Near has collected a lot of good clues, but he seems to have been fooled by the fake note, at least for 23 days. Mikami sure made a good fake, writing all the names there again and all...

Unbelievable! Just unbelievable! In about three weeks we're going to be witness to the conclusion of this "gray" match of wits between the most cunning, ingenious, and yet "gray" minds the world has ever seen.

I said "gray" because the world's not perfect and is Black & White neither.

I really quite did not get well Near's move.

Take Misa and Mogi captive, although Mogi was awared because Aizawa told him and the latter shared his conclusions with the former that Light is indeed Kira.

And I do feel for Aizawa's shock and frustration that at the turning point everything has slipped out of his control and passed onto Near. He still contributed to slip in secret to Mogi about Near's move.

I can only make up that Near is going to prove the efficacy of the note, regarding the 23-day death manipulation rule. Thinking that if nothing suspicious happens to Misa and Mogi or that both got manipulated either the Shinigami follows Light or the Shinigami is following Mikami.

And there is still the issue about Light instructing Mikami through Takada about the fake notebook.

No. The note that Giovanni touched I am very sure it was the fake one. That's my gut feeling.

I had a nice laugh upon Light's comment regarding how distasted he feels that Amane and Takada are fighting over him to see who keeps him.

Doing unnecessary things, women are such unreasonable creatures.:heh:

Actually, Light-kun, you better watch your manners and take Takadas' words to heart when she meant never lying to her. Women are in fact frightening humans.:heh:

In Japanese there's no distinction between b and v, so these kind of typos aren't very rare.

I would advice not to go on wikipidea as it blatanty shows spoilers...me as a twit went on it and now i know how its gonna end and why it happened like that...so its no fun anymore...

well... it wasn't on par with the previous episodes... but this one was still decent... kinda left me like wtf though... either way, can't wait to see how they plan on wraping all this up...

Yeah Wiki is definitely a bad place to go when youre watching animes. I had the number of Kiras and L's death spoiled for me, as well as a lot of other Naruto stuff...

Hmm I haven't watched the anime in a while and have just caught up. They seem to have cut out quite a bit of the story after L's death. While I applaud them for cutting out some pretty boring portions, some of the scenes that I like have been butchered or shortened (like the scene where Near challenged Light).

It's ending soon and I am really looking forward to the last few episodes. Hope they don't leave out too much details.

Maybe Light, Mello, and Near are all being controlled by someone who recently got a Death Note and knows who they all are, and what they look like!

And outsmarting them all, he has put them each on their own path to death... leaving him with alot of entertaiment along the way!

LOL! Good one......Not Matsuda, but yes....I can see how that could be....and MAN WOULD THAT BE A COOL TWIST! And now that I thought about it more, I kindda like that....That'd deffinitly be an ineresting ending. And even if it isn't, I just hope the final episodes don't disappoint.....I really don't want an stupid ending.:heh:

Well, I guess you'd technically call it a typo...but meh, the Japanese language doesn't have the "v" sound and thus supplements it with the "b" sound.

Anyways, I'm curious to how this will end too. I'm fairly confident Light realizes that Aizawa put his finger imprint on one of the note pads.
