When I first saw how Teresa was drawn, even in the anime, it just amazed me. When it comes to smokin' hot Claymores, it's Teresa then Galatea. But I can't count out Miria, though.

I think, though I infer this from my own attraction towards her, part of Teresa's appeal is that she played a sympathetic tragic heroine.

Nah, it's a pretty ridiculous idea anyway. The standard issue Claymore clothing is skintight, and their stomachs look normally shaped. Everything looks fine based on what we've actually seen. So... it's just weird colouring? I can't see how it would be that bad.

2) Clare (her gentleness won me over since episode one)
3) Riful (a fascinating loli Abyssal in search of friends...however twisted her means may be!)
4) Yes, Raki, an admirable character full of courage, loyalty, and determination who happens to be afflicted with human frailties as weakness and need (a state that I presume was formerly, commonly shared by all Claymores past and present, normal and awakened)
5) Ophelia, for no other reason than having a character design that employs a few of my favorite features (braided hair, elf ears, and a nice rack!)

Well, they're NOT all pretty, take Rachel in volume 13. She looks like a cross between Billy Idol and a terrier. Undine in the Pieta battle, looks like a steroid specimen, BUT when she reverts back to her "other" human form, she's OK-looking

I don't agree with galatea being more beautiful than Teresa though. I do agree that Priscilla (manga version) is WAY better looking than the anime. Just check out the eyes of both mediums.

Regarding what's deformed about the Claymore's bodies, I was under the impression that the major issue was massive scarring from the hybridization procedure, battle wounds, or both. Remember when Rubel examines Clare's wounds in scene 4 - he asks "I wonder what the boy (Raki) would think if he saw you like that", the implication being that her scars were hideous/frightening.

Teressa was the worse character in the show. Not because she was sexy, or because she had a killer rack and was possibly the only claymore with a booty (and a very nice one I might add :D) She was just too ungodly powerful. If no one told her she possibly could have taken down all three of the AB's, all the AO's without really knowing that there are supposed to be something important. She had to be killed otherwise nothing would stand a chance.

Even Rube admits that Alice is just, ok, in comparison to Teressa.

Fair was not in the options when talking about Teresa. She beat all of them with there own specialty. Irene's flash sword was impressive. Thats why Teresa took the time dog the skill out make fun of it and use it against Irene.

Teresa explained that part and she said her hair was black before. Did they cut that part out in the anime? Don't remember. (the manga is better XD )

I prefer Jeane, she protects teammate more than herself. I can't really get the idea of liking Galatea, in anime she's not that great/hype.

I'll have to choose Teresa on this one. Since she is one of the Claymores who shows love and care to humans. Its very rare to find a Claymore that cares for you when you are following her everywhere. Plus, without Teresa's tragic end, there wont even be a Claymore story, let alone the present female lead called Clare.

Out of most all episodes (up till now) I still like the episodes of Teresa and Clare's developing bonds between them because it is that where it sets up Clare's journey to become a Claymore.

Plus, Teresa is beautiful, is she not? xD

Probably because she was only an important character for 2 episodes... and even then, she was equally important as Sophia, and less important than Teresa, Priscilla and Ilena. I liked her, but she didn't leave a big enough impression to go very high.

Well think it's simple why Noel doesn't have more votes. It's a one vote poll after all. While she was a character I did like to a degree she didn't rate high enough to beat out characters like Teresa, Clare, Irene etc.

Well, it's hard to vote for characters who died by a tentacle to the forehead.;) If it's any consolation, it's better to die from the hand of an Abyssal rather than some Awakened B. There's a semblance of honor involved I guess.

Well guess you could throw some honor of fighting a powerful opponent while seriously injured. Even if totally healthy they probably didn't have a snowballs chance in hell but at least they probably could've held out longer.

Just how it is with single vote polls. Got to pick the character you like the most and it's hard for characters with little time on screen and getting killed fast to get that much support on the polls.

He HAS shown his character...devious, conniving but gets the job done. Of all the watchers he looks cool: shades, black suit and fedora. Unlike Ermita who;s a ninja wanna be.

Pretty much all Rubel's shown is that he's mysterious, though. We can presume he's powerful, we can presume he works efficiently, but he doesn't let us actually know much. I suppose being mysterious can be considered a good quality in itself, though.

Jin?) isn't manly but "beautiful" or "sexy" doesn't fit, especially in the manga. The anime made her look better and more feminine but you can't say she's supposed to be attractive in the same way as, say, Galatea. But Jeanne still has her own appeal.
