When Nanoha is in Exceed Mode and tanked that S ranked blast, she is still AA rank right.... that being the case just how much power does a device add towards user's offensive and defensive powers.......

I guess that they opted with the route Nanoha = Cool and Fate = Hot, not that I mind at all :heh:, looking forward to Fate's BJ....

Her name as previously mentioned is Tres, and her specialty is speed :heh: And that rear is part of the jacket :heh: Actually, all of the numbers wear the same outfit as Tres, only Quattro is different by wearing a coat over hers :heh:

I think the number might be the relic themselves or the relic was transformed into them(I wish they would stop wearing the jacket:heh:)

as for Exceed mode and Nanoha defending against a rank S magical blast while still in AA rank, I say it was all Raging Heart...Nanoha would have at least mention somewhere in the past episodes, that she has another barrier jacket form...unless Nanoha just wanted to keep it secret until the time comes.

I am guessing this devices evolve with their Masters and it is really Nanoha that's doing everything...Just think back...If it was indeed that great from the beginning, would Yuuno have lost to a mere jewel seed? A jewel seed Nanoha took care of without any experience or knowledge of magic?!! Me think not...

I just think of it as Bardiche in Nanoha's hands instead....That way...it makes more sense...

The way Shari sounded, to me at least, that both Nanoha's and RH's restriction has been lifted on that scene.
However, another matter is that they did say "restriction", not outright "Limiter"...
So, if I am to take the same strict way I did for A's manga, it sounds more like it's only RH...

Anyway, Fate had to load 3 cartridges for Trident while Nanoha only did 1 for her EB, and it pretty much canceled out.
Assuming that they're still on-per at full-power blast, Nanoha definitely did receive some kind of buff-up... but I don't think Exceed Mode alone would be that drastic.
(Now that we think about it, isn't it the first time Fate used 3 cartridges at once?)

All in all, I'm not really sure, but for the time being, I'd like to believe it released everything that were on Nanoha and RH.
Maybe once official site has put synopsys for EP12, we'll get the definite answer.


And yes, while RH is definitely an I.D, she's so far been most talkative and talentful device of all.

In my opinion, it's highly doubtful.
We already have "VI" walking around doing everything, and the Relic retrieved in this Ep was No.VI.
But Numbers do call them "Core"... so I suppose they're some kind of core in different sense.

maybe before episode 18, Vivio has something to do with how the plot will go on, especially with TSAB...an organization like that and successfully captured a little girl who has info on the relics...they would do anything to get info out of her...even if it means, torture!....

Given the surpise Regius have about an SS rank mage stationed with the ground forces, I think SS rank and above are somewhat a rare commodity in TSAB, besides its not as if they don't have support, Surely Lindy and Leti still pull some weight in TSAB along with Chrono....

I was under the impression that Navy is where all the action is :p You get to travel the dimensions, meet new people, save worlds, and quite a few famous people in that division too :p

Air Force don't seem to be called upon much... Or did I mistake a few of them for Navy?


And of course RF6 will have backers even if they go rogue. I'm saying that the backings need to be BIG, judging from various implications if they're going to face the bulk of things.

Like I've said, they should all just move to Navy, it's more friendlier there :)

Plus theres still tons of backstory for the characters we currently have.

There's Lutecia and co. thou next ep would appear to flush that out (heres hoping). The numbers and what there real role is (they can't just be relic finders, he has drones for that. The Doc's goals. The Mystery Loli who may be special in some way (on a side note SS2's pic makes sense now^^) Regaius and what if any his plans are. All of this in 14 eps.... wow. Besides the current villian army could be very effective if everyone is used to their specialty

In the preview Nanoha said something like "created life" so maybe Agito is an artificial beeing. Also, it's most likely a flashback. Episode 13 will be a flashback episode about Agito, Lulu and Zest. We get to see how Zest and Lulu met. Also, does anyone else think Agito looks A LOT cuter with her hair down (would have been better without the torture)?


Now that I think about it....the who could be that $^&%$ woman who was speaking to that Riggs(or something) guy. Also.....Rein DOES have a full size loli mode, just hope they show it in the anime

The Lone Island Syndrome method that would work for this, is to once again do it like CG :p

The doctor reveal his Experimental Weapon (Supreme Commander :p) , Gadget Drone Type-X. Have it rainbow-ed the entire area, blasting them off to a nearby island...

Resulting in having the two groups looking for them. :)

Vita and rein tagged very nicly there, lol Lutecia, Agito and Garyu didn't see it coming (and coming through the roof was +1000 points lol makes for a great entrance) Lutecia keeps getting cooler with each ep she is in^^ She remains so calm cool and collective throughout the entire ep even during the capture scene. So Lutecia is looking for a certain relic huh, wonder why (she looked depressed that it was six and not 11 (I think thats the one everyone's been mentioning) On a side note Agito got some nice firepower there, like a mini Fried^^)

lol Vita's expression with the reveal of the trick was pricless^^ lol she got 1up'd by her own subordinates^^ Go Tea, nice work there^^

I'm just gonna ignore Regiaus. He's nothing but a face^^ The real mastermine is the secretary, the way she looks, acts the fact they do the glare in the glasses/close up views just screams evil (not nessessarily villian evil but shes up to something if shes not the so called client.

The numbers showed some nice promise, and Quttro's telepathic trick with Lutecia definitly got under Vita's skin, though they really picked a bad time to atk the helicopter. They had no back-up (they both range/supprt mages so colse combat gonna hurt) so if they succeeded they dead (quick and painful) if they fail, well they were still dead (just slower) if it wasn't for Tres (by the way nice ass there :D). By far my fav's are currently Sein (her stealth skill/travel through material is really cool) and Deci (that rifle owns pretty hard and scope eyes = win^^)

Lutecia's backstory^^ Poor Agito, whatever it was they injected in her was definitly an amplification syrome cause afterwards her fire magic activated, and oh my Zest return... in flashback form^^. So Vivio wakes up and lol she's clutching the bunny^^ she definitly must be warming up to Nanoha then. A week can't pass fast enough^^

Well, there is a section of the City that's abandoned (the place they held Subaru and Teana's B Rank exam), and most of the time the Forwards were underground... for all we know, they were fighting Drones left and right underground without knowing where they are until they reached that part of the city, so when they got up they were already in the abandoned area.

At first, I was so happy when I saw her shooting down the drones one by one, because I thought she had finally started to use a lesser spell; but then... a familiar sphere of explosion occured in one scene and I went, "Wait a minute..." and when they panned to Hayate still in Zeus Breaker mode, I went into an ORZ position.

I thought I would finally get to see her use a spell that is below S Rank, but she went on to cast Diabolic Emission. :heh: If she is THIS trigger happy at S Rank, WTH does she cast at SS Rank? :twitch:

Hayate is Ancient Velka, which is known to be based on primarily wide-range bombardment and nuke spells, and as we've seen, her battle position is well out of the way, throwing missiles, mortars and orbital cannon beams at stuff. I doubt Hayate knows anything other than big bangs, and if she was at A-rank, she'd probably be using lesser variants of her nukes.

The only difference being, that there have been no "grand" magical battles on the scale you're implying, in any of the past seasons. Nanoha vs Fate in season 1 was always short skirmishes, and the sequence at the end of the season was a one-sided affair. A's follows the same pattern, short fights (with a ton of interruptions) and the sequence at the end of the season was one-sided. Before you bring up Fate vs Signum in episode 7 of A's (which nearly everyone does when they try and argue this point), that was a very short sequence (two, maybe three minutes) and not really expanded upon. If anything it's purpose was to show that Fate and Signum we're finally evenly matched in the battle, considering what had transpired before.

So yeah, "grand" magical battles? You're talking about episode-length fight sequences, shounen-style, right? StrikerS episode 12 is about as close to a full-scale war as we've seen so far in the franchise's history.

You're underestimating the power of political warfare. True, Regius is biased as hell, but he could still bring it up. How much effect it will have (especially since the Aces are very popular with the younger generation) depends to be seen, but it still is a point that can be brought up. Alone they are useless, but if he uses Hayate's triggerhappy moments, describes them as 'rampages caused by the dark tome' and overly exagerates the danger she posesses, there can be people who will sway.

Twisting the truth? Sure, but that defines political warfare.

But of course, we don't even know what Regius' intentions are, nor how he is planning to execute them. My thoughts are that he is one of those 'my way is the only way' type of persons, and anyone who thinks or acts outside his little box is a threat to society.

I can't remember offhand where it was done before, but I believe it was. And not even in the "change of heart" scenario; just that their methods are so different as to conflict most of the time, but in this particular case, their beliefs and goals align just long enough to send reinforcements or some such.

Essentially: "I don't like you. I don't approve of the way you work. If it were up to me, Riot Force 6 would never have been created. But I'm not going to let my personal feelings cause the destruction of the TSAB, so for now, these troops are yours."

Of course, this is highly unlikely, and judging from the plot style so far, I doubt there'll be such a twist. More likely he'll be the straightforward Bad Guy.

Yes, it's done before...It's not the most used cliche ever, but it's presence is constituted. However, for situations to reach that level of implication... it would mean that someone REALLY high up is the real corrupt bastard.

Besides, so far, Regius is not that bad. He's pretty stereotypical as far as his archetype goes... It's not a good thing, but it's not neccesarily bad either depending on the logic of his execution...which we'll obviously see in the coming episodes, in some degree. Hayate may have the nepotism button, but I'd reckon she'd be the type to not need reliance on something like that unless things turn really drastic...

Anyway, I'll be all the more happy if they can drag in Graham even a wee bit into the things...

As we can see from the preview for episode thirteen, Zest meets Lutecia in a burning house, where all she held dear perished, and Zest offers her his hand, but not without a price. You see, Zest, an old veteran of the field has come to the realization that life with only a youth's zest is lonely, and would like some female companionship. Lutecia, driven by vengeance but not by love, accepts his proposal but makes a counterdemand of her own, it will not be consummated before her vengeance has been dealt with.

This was the beginning premise of their relationship, and the reason they wander searching for the lost Relic that is a crucial object in Lutecia's revenge. However, things have taken a turn. Doctor Jailbait has appeared, and Lutecia is not unwilling to go with his plans. Zest, burning with jealousy, ofttimes takes off on his own to search for the Relic to hinder Jailbait's influence over Lutecia and to open her gardens of delight.

Lutecia, to her surprise, has grown to love Zest and would like to spend the rest of her days with him, but can't due to the vow of vengeance she has taken, which she feels, if broken, would sully her and Zest's future relationship. Makes sense enough for me. Just give Erio all the lolis :). He's had a pretty tough few episodes so he deserves a bit after all that going on. Won't hurt Lutecia to have a good guy like him anyways.

I just lost track personally of Vivio because of all the action going on. Should be interesting to see her after she gets up and how she gets along with everyone.

Setting up a barrier takes time, unlike in A's, they didn't know those girls were there. And when they do, they were pretty confident in capturing them.

Well in their defense, they didn't know Lutecia had any other allies. They only knew of Zest and Garyuu, and now Agito. Had they known she had other allies, they probably would've set up a barrier...

Although considering how one of the girl's moves through solid objects, I don't think a barrier would stop her. Since I only recall barriers prevent solid objects and teleportation.

well, finally got to see the whole episode in RAW form...even though I already did see bits and parts of it from posts in this thread, it was still enjoyable!


-The Nakajima sisters, they make a really good team, two wing roads!:)
-Teana's trick really surprised everyone...I think Vita has much more respect for her now!
-That old man admiral that they showed with his assistant...I couldn't really understand what he was saying, but he was pretty surprised that Hayate, who was involved with the "Yami no sho" case back in A's, is taking part in thiss battle...whatever he said to his assistant, it doesn't really sound too good...especially since he wanted to know who RF6's superior supporters were.(Chrono, Lindy (can't believe she's still working in TSAB, I thought she retired already...), and Carim)
-Another note, his assistant looks to be suspicious also...maybe she too is a number...she had that look...that suspicious look, i can't describe it, but when you watch it, you might know what I'm talking about...
-Exceed mode, I really do think RH did all of that, despite Nanoha still having the limiter on.
-and the ending scene, where Nanoha visits Vivio...I really really do think she's gonna adopt her, she has a similar past to Nanoha, about being all alone and stuff while at a young age(referring to season 1)...thus making Nanoha her tentative "mother" for now(referring to cover of second sound stage of StrikerS...until she remembers something that we don't know yet....
-Erio, he didn't really have that much battle scars...but I gotta watch episode 11, I want to see Erio intercept Garyuu's attack on Caro...I've been hearing it was pretty superb on what Erio did!:)

To be honest, I don't think it's jealousy even though it looks like it. He just Despise the fact that someone who had commit a crime before had been let off and is now even working for them.

I'm also surprised that as a general of Ground Forces, he hasn't heard the news that Hayate formed her own department and has been so for more than a month...

I would imagine so. While I'd imagine that they wear their suits primarily for function, being able to select any outfit they want seems to indicate that they have that much freedom at least. Okay, my fanboyism aside... of course, purely speculation and the next episode will make or break Scaglietti/Agito, but Agito clearly has some disdain towards Numbers in general, not wanting their assistance, and not just Scaglietti alone... which possibly means that Agito, unlike Lutecia probably wasn't directly affliated with the good doctor. I mean...Lutecia's clearly a subject to his "playtime", but to her...a Jail is fine too. And Zest too doesn't really look like he was something of Scaglietti's... since he refers to him in a mildly professional tone, adding the title Knight when talking to him.

There's also the possibility that Scaglietti gives authorative control and management of the younger Numbers to Uno, while he indulge in boring science stuff...seeing how they all report to her first-hand rather than going straight to the doctor from the way they talk about getting scolded by Uno-neesama... Being sisters, possibly of similar kin, surely their relationship can't be all that bad?

now thats an unexpected surprise, and if it is true, it could rival the Starlight Breaker...and Nanoha was just lucky to defend against that blast, since it wasn't full power...unless Dieci was also anticipating the arrival of someone to defend against the blast and decided to play around and make that blast not at "full power" mode...

also, if RF6 ever encounter the Numbers again, they should have a much more better game plan...seems like the Numbers are all about surprises and tricks, doing anything they can to get their hands on the relics for their Ojou-sama, Lutecia...

But that's why there are other sisters, so far it's likely that each of their IS can at very least come close to Aces in their specific field.

Does it even matter? We don't even know how much both sides were holding back, especially Nanoha since they're being ridiculously vague on "what" limiters were removed, since it was canonically proven that you don't need S-rank to block S-rank spells.

All we know is that X's holding back enough to not kill Vivio, if she is capable of that.

Actually thats a pretty good guess. Though everyone else pretty much guessed that that the secretaries up to no good. Her being Uno would be one of the greater twists in the story.
