I may not be an expert on this thing... but from what I can tell (from reading the manga for a while now) That's probably a sound byte of hinata turning her head, or something (they do that a lot). Besides, I don't think she has anything in her hand which could mark that on the tree at that moment anyways.

In a normal case of an average sound byte... it would be *rustle* or *head turns* or something like that

(although let it be known that I'm not 100% sure that it is in fact a sound byte)

The katakana character shown there is 'po' and yes it is a sound effect. It doesn't mean "head turns" or something like that. It's actually the sound of someone - get this, blushing (which she is doing in the pic).

In Japan, they have sounds for just about every damn thing.
