Tried to post this in the Older Series forum but couldn't so, I guess the mods will move this over like the Code Geass thread :D

The adventure game (i.e. visual novel), which will be developed by Bandai, will be set for sometime this year and is currently called, "Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu" (working name). The company also claims that it will not just be the usual ADV game because it will include "a new system and elements that will be tried out for the first time in consumer games."

No real details about what the game will contain but you can find out more in the following magazines:

The Smeeker (June 30th)
Computiq, Monthly Shonen Ace Assault, Newtype (July 10th)
Dengeki PS (July 13th)

Official site is due to open on July 10th.

They probably want to go for the best visual experience possible and that's why they chose PSP. Not to mention it has a bigger ADV dating sim fan base which makes you wonder if the game will really be a dating sim...

Since the thread titles been changed from "PSP" to "Games of", I might as well point people to the two fan made Ace Attorney style PC games too :p

I read about this yesterday on Kotaku and had a feeling it would probably be an ADV (As that would make it most accessible to the Otaku market that enjoys Dating Sims and what not). It seems I was right, but I'm a bit curious to hear what this mystery gameplay element is. I don't plan on buying it once it comes to North America (Which it will, don't people be worrying about that), but we'll surely see some clips on Youtube at some point. What would be potentially upsetting to even a person who doesn't plan to play is a lack of a Kyon-Imouto route.

That was never animated, although it'd be very interesting to see. I'm in support of seeing a scenario like that in whatever media form we can get.

I always new a game would come someday where her stats were overkill. You have to wonder though if it's a tabletop RPG or whatever that she's just decided to cheat at or something. The other thing we have to wonder is if it's interactive, my guess is no because if it was it would be pointless as nothing would stand against her. It would be like starting Final Fantasy Mystic Quest at LVL 99.

Haruhi to Appear on Japanese Nintendo Wii via Kadokawa
Kadokawa Shoten will release The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (tentative title) game for the Japanese Nintendo Wii console. This game, based on Kadokawa's science fiction comedy series of light novels, does not have an announced genre or release date yet. Bandai Namco Games is producing another The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (tentative title) game for the Japanese Sony PlayStation Portable, and Banpresto is producing the Suzumiya Haruhi no Tomadō (The Bewilderment of Haruhi Suzumiya) game for the Japanese Sony PlayStation 2.

Wii Game: Use the Wiimote in an interactive dating sim (via character route specific mini-games) with the Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuutsu characters. It will probably still be an ADV. I always assume ADV for anime games until a genre is announced, especially when they don't fall into any genre that lends itself to any real type of fully interactive game like Haruhi does other than bag a girl.

Haruhi-sama has just given me the reason to buy a PSP and maybe Wii if it really has a game on that console.

I'd get the PS2 game or wait for a DS announcment. I'm just not to sure about the future of the PSP as it's getting kicked around by the DS right now for the most part. It has potential and what not, but I'm sure Sony has a cohesive plan to make it successive and keep it supported. It's mostly a matter of Long Term Investments and what not. You buy a game system and you want it to earn its weight in enjoyment equivalent to the price you paid for it. Unless you have plans for some other games to buy with it.

That's just my advice though.

The PSP is region free as is the Nintendo DS and pretty much all Handheld systems. Being a portable system it would be kind of strange to have a regional lockout on it. The Wii is not region free however, but I know there's a way to make it read Japanese discs using a swap method (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIAj-S1N15k), so far it only seems to work with GC games. However, Datel plans to make a Freeloader version for the Wii (http://www.wiisworld.com/wii-news/wii-freeloader-on-the-way.html), which would allow you to play games from other regions. This is what I use to play my imported copy of Super Robot Wars GC on my North American Gamecube. The product should only be between 39.99 and 49.99 or so and is a much cheaper option than buying a Japanese Wii and importing it, uness of course you already live there.

Yes, PSPs are region free but Wii's aren't so you would have to buy a Japanese Wii for Japanese Wii games. If only the Wii was region free too... Even with all the methods available out there just now, it's still only partially "region free".

So, I wonder if this Wii version will let you do the Haruhi dance with the controls or even a dance mini game. I'm sure that would sell! Or even try a stunt like SNK's witch hunting game...

first we get an announcement of a PSP Haruhi game by the end of this year, then we get another announcement of a PS2 Haruhi game by spring 2008, and now another Haruhi game and this time, its for the Wii!!
I have a Wii, but it looks like I'll be getting a freeloader for this one when it gets released.
with all of these games coming out, maybe an announcement for season 2 might not be too far away??...hhmmmm, only time will tell...

It was announced roughly as many times as they've made Haruhi game announcements, one was a trick on ANN made to bait users in to auto-banning themselves via a hack and exploit in the system, one was a false alarm and another was a rumour that an announcement had been made but later it too turned out to be false. To date there has been no clear and concise proof of a second season.

And the PS2 game seems to have an RPG theme that takes place during it though we have no idea if it's even a major part of the game let alone an interactive event or full blown RPG. For now in the spirit of keeping expectations level with the info we have I wouldn't go trying to pin a story or genre on it until some hard details start coming out of Bandai Namco.

I got psyched into thinking that the RPG looking scenes in Little Busters were real, but they turned out to be scripted ADV sequences so I wouldn't assume 100% that the RPG scene is for real, especially considering Haruhi's ridiculous stats that seem to be played for comedic effect (i.e it's a table top RPG and the visual representation shows a story event of her cheating). Though I too could be wrong.

Well, it appears the title of the PS2 game will be "Suzumiya Haruhi no Tomadoi (The Bewilderment of Suzumiya Haruhi".

You'll be playing as Kyon. During conversations with members of the SOS Brigade you can look left and right at other members which can affect your friendship level with them.

The flow of the game involves managing a schedule to produce a game, arranging who does what task such as voice acting sessions and event CGs. As tasks progress comments are added next to them. Finish off completing a game and you could even play it!

Hmmm... The looking around element is certainly new in an ADV game, I think. I wonder if this will be the same as the PSP game since that mentioned something about "new elements".

The "Super Heroine Haruhi" figure will be from Max Factory in collaboration with Masaki Asai.

Anyone ever notice that Haruhi always seems to have one of two facial expressions on in pictures. It's either lips pursed and kind of frog looking with fiery eyes or mouth wide open so that it looks like a devilish grin. Memories of that Pikachu image being used over and over again on all American Merchandise are flooding back a bit.

Screenshots look pretty static, it looks like it will indeed be an ADV game where you follow a set story path.

I'll answer this with:

Twilight Princess, Super Paper Mario, Wii Sports, Wii Play, and the looooooong awaited Smash Bros. Brawl.

I mean... if you have something against simplistic fun and just want eye-candy go ahead and play a PS3 game, both systems are fairly new and both systems still have a fairly limited library of games. To me, neither really even have a strong upcoming release list (barring maybe the FF titles.) While I have both systems, I'd say the Wii is still slightly more enjoyable to play b/c of its unorthodox control style. PS3 just doesn't have too much that makes it stand out more than anything else, besides being a less expensive blue-ray player, and very very pretty graphics.

Anyway... that is all completely off topic, so... what would happen so that Haruhi would feel the need to deal 99999999999 damage to Yuki? :(

A Haruhi videogame. From what I've seen so far, it sounds like it's going to be good. Although I would prefer the tradition of just using a controller, like with PS2.

Few more details about the PSP game has popped up in the latest issue of Newtype.

"Suzumiya Haruhi no Yakusoku (Promise of Suzumiya Haruhi)" will be an ADV game as stated earlier. As you walk around the campus and come across events, you get to play some mini games. Nothing about whether the story will be the same as the show or not but, it will feature full voice acting by the same Anime cast.

The "new element" announced a while ago will be the "Motion Portrait" system. Apparently character expressions will change in real time which may mean you won't see the usual slideshow "tachie" portraits that you get in ADVs.

The problem with Wii is that Nintendo put a strict rule with the games on the platform - they MUST use the motion sensing mechanism for all games. I am not sure about you, but for some games, like your old school strategy games, I would rather use the typical controller scheme to move things around. I stop playing Zelda simply because there is no way NOT to use the thing. I mean, it's cool for the first couple of hours of playing, but I have no desire to hold the controller up and play for a few hours straight (not uncommon for RPG). I like the DS rules better - you can use either the traditional control or pen - not just the pen.

I cannot think of too many Haruhi theme game that I want to play a lot with the Wii remote, unless it's one of those party-theme like game, which certainly shouldn't require you to hold the damn remote up for hours at a time :D
This is not true. Resident Evil 4 Wii allows you to use the Classic Controller add-on (looks a bit like a white version of the PS2 controller) or the GameCube controller, and will revert to the standard RE4 controls. Fire Emblem: Goddess of Dawn (a Wii exclusive turn-based strategy game published by Nintendo) uses no motion controls at all; while you can control the game with the Wii Remote held sideways, no motion detection is used and the Classic Controller or the GameCube controller are preferable.

That's news to me - you don't know how piss I am when they force me to use the damn Wii remote for Zelda. Yes, it will open up some new ways to play games, but sadly, I see the Wii version of the game will mostly focus on various mini-games, since Wii excel at this (just imagine playing as Kyon "playing" these various mini-games to do Haruhi's bidding - Cooking Mama, Kyon's edition :) ). Need more detail on the PS2 version - definitely getting that one if it's half way decent.

The limited edition of the PS2 game will get that, "Super Hero Haruhi" figure with 4 sets of changeable arms. Pre-orders will get this "Dance SOS Brigade" CD featuring concept art, game trailers and the TV Anime "HareHare Yukai" dance but with the gang in their RPG clothing from this game.

They say that the technology will be intorduced in the conversation system in the PSP game

That Flash demo is definitely impressive. Quite a number of layers to get that kind of result in Flash, huh? This sure beats watching "Tachies" (Static Poses) all the time but they have their own good points. More detailed art for example.

And looks like there will be a premium box containing:

It seems that the game will include a lot of talking.

The second big picture shows the additional function of the game: "Nagato Yuki's Talking Clock".

According to Bandai, the companies main focus at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, will be Suzumiya Haruhi no Yakusoku (The Promise of Suzumiya Haruhi) on the PSP.
Bandai are saying that thier stage event will focus mainly,if not soley on the game to promote it as much as possible.
To think, Bandai already have a large proportion of the Otaku population in thier grasp due to the influx of Gundam games spewing out of the company. Making a Haruhi game should make them even more popular.
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yakusoku is set to be released on Japan on December 20th. Like Suzumiya Haruhi no Tomodai on the PS2, it will be released alongside a Limited Edition Version.
The Limited Edt. Version will come with a figure,PSP stand,Headphones,PSP Sock, and some other stuff I can't remember >.<

That's Graffiti kingdom and yes, you can create your own character in whatever form you like, besides the voice. So this game has nothing to do with Haruhi besides making one in its likeliness.

Not a bad idea at all but instead I think it would be much more interesting if you were to play as a exclusive main character, and you could interact with everyone with this new "mysterious" main character.

Some Informations :
The Main Objective of the Game is making a Video Games! The SOSdan (Haruhi) have got the Idea of Making a Game that can be launched in the World... so when making this game, it may be looking like dragon quest or Super Robot Taisen or etc... Multiples Popular Japanese Game especially. But you have to be careful with all of Hour for each character because everyone can't work at the same time... and there will have some Fanservice phase like watching Mikuru and Nagato(ahem) with the Stick etc...

That last image of Mikuru cleaning Kyon's ear, I could swear I've seen it before these images came about but in that picture I believe it was Haruhi, not Mikuru. It was a fan art I think but can't be sure. If so I find it a little odd somebody would do a fan art depicting such a similar situation only for it to appear later in the PS2 game, but with Mikuru instead :S

for those of you who want to find out what's with kimidori emiri........ BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE READING THIS! in the game, there are 10 endings and... That emiri-san pic is from nagato's bad ending. If you choose the Nagato Yuki arc in the game, then win the Day of Saggitarius. Afterwards, ignore yuki for the rest of the game and in the end, she decides that she might be better forgotten (uh oh....) and then she 'kills' off Kyon but in reality.... Kyon wakes up and finds that the situations were altered: Kimidori Emiri takes Nagato's place in the SOS DAN and yuki is not in the brigade anymore. She would then transfer in as a regular student with glasses without any memories of the Brigade at all. I think it's something like that.... somewhere from youtube so it might not be all correct... but the ending song after this Chihara Minori style rocks! Done.

it's a fun game and though unofficial, has a nice voice cast and characters wearing/equipping trademark items from various anime characters from hakuoro's mask from utawarerumono to fuuko's starfish from clannad...

if anyone has played the game may i ask a question...
how can the chraacter do his/her special move?
i know you need to get the henshin powerup...(koizomi's henshin is creepy)
but what do you do after that...(i know it may be written in a tutorial somewhere but unfortunately for me i lack japanese reading skills... orz)

I read through your guide, it was very interesting. You've put quite an effort into it. If printed in readable font it take about 17 pages. Unfortunately I didnt find time to watch the video you provided.
Speaking of French language, I must say that you're far more advanced than me, especially on the part of vocabulary. I had to check for a few words in the dictionary.

Among adventure games I only played kimikiss and there you have a month and you can either do a lot or do nothing. Also in sakura taisen there are 'spare time' sections when you can do many things and they make up a good deal of the game.

- Princess Maker Type : A game looks like Princess Maker, if you will be able to promoute your game, you will have this Phase, first with Nagato and Mikuru, later maybe with haruhi since we have saw a pic with her before...

It's about the Phase during making a Game, when you have to manage all the SOSDan member Hour and Work. Every Time you will encount some Event like this. It's still fun.

I don't know if i will scan all the Haruhi Visual Archives since i have problem with my Own Scanner :(I just recieved my Premium Box, which I almost thought that I'm never going to recieve it. I got the figure though, I thank that to early preorders, I did it somewhere around August last year. The figure is gashapon sized and fits in perfectly with the rest of my Haruhi gashapon sets, all the stands are standardised, white with half a 'H'.

You didn't mention the headphones, they are in the box as well, I think you forgot to mention that.

Did anyone actually use any of the items? The cleaner strap, headphones, UMD case and PSP pouch? I feel like using them but I don't like to put collectors items to use.

I'm not even going to use the UMD lol, I've been playing with the rom because I know I'm not going to use it :heh:

I'll tell people what. I will get the game when it comes out and play it for a little while and then try to give my opinion on how it works a little and then they can decide what to do. That way people can get the information from a more familiar source rather than magazine employees. Plus I need a new game to talk about that isn't Fire Emblem or Smash Bros.

Beat the Game once and unlocked the Princess Maker Game with Haruhi.
Need to play a lot because you can create a Game yeah... But only ONE game for one Walkthrough. So basicaly, you need to fill more or less all Job of the Game (FX, BGM, Graphism, Character, Story etc... more than 20 types for making a Game) that we need to fill with Stars that can be obtained only during the Project of the Game. Writing on the Tableboard is to manage everyone task, since you control only Kyon (that unfortunately we can't heard his voice) and manage Haruhi, Mikuru, Nagato and Itsuki Tasks... Do not try to give all the Work to only one character, he/she will be tired during the End of a Phase. (There's 4 Phases). One day concerned 3 Steps of a Phase, 9:30 , 12:20 and 15:10.
Try to manage everyone task by giving them balanced work. We can choose what task each character can do but it's costs Points
Points can be used for giving supply Task between or on a Task, change Character Job or Change Caption.
We can obtain Points from Haruhi and co. Just follow their eyes with the Left Stick that can increase the Relationship between the character and collecting Points and Item Game.

For the moment i only notice that for the 1st Walkthrough, now need to play more and more for understanding each way for making different Game

I pre-ordered from www.ncsx.com a few months ago at $95 + $8 shipping. I believe they have raised the price for new orders. I do not know what the new price is and whether they have more in-stock. I got my game + figure + bonus disc on Friday, only one day after the release date in Japan. Highly recommended.

I just checked eBay and saw an auction at $99 + $20 shipping from Japan. Not that bad, but no bonus disc.

I personally was a little disappointed with the figure. It's made from the same soft plastic material like most gasaphon figures. Don't expect too much.

There's a little note about the Super SOS Wars (SRT)
Difficulty is different on Good and Bad Graphism
You can easily finish the Game on Good Graphism because everyone have their MAX stats BUT! On Bad Graphism, it's still a real pain so here's the Solution

Remember this
1. Move
2. Attack
3. Skill
4. Statut

Since i won't write Kanji or japanese character here (except on the FAQ), i will help for skill like this
1-2-3
4-5-6

Why the BAD Graphism is painful?
- If Kyon is killed, Game Over
- If One of the SOSdan Member is dead, chance of winning reach 0!
- If Turn 4 come, Game over
- Mikuru can be killed on One turn because of her poor Defense and HP...
- If Kyon stay behind to long whereas trying to attack, Game over!
- Asakura heal ALWAYS at 100%! There's only way for stop her for recovering and i'll give you how.

1st turn
Nagato use Skill 4 and 5, move 4 on the up and 1 to the Right and Attack
Kyon use Skill 3 and 4, move and stay on the left of nagato and Attack
After finish the Turn, select Defend for Kyon (Second Option and Second Option, then 1st Option for begin the Action)

2nd turn
Haruhi, Itsuki and Mikuru will come
For begin, use Skill 1 and 4 with Itsuki and Move 6 on the Up and 2 on the Right (near Kyon) and Attack
After this, select Mikuru and Skill 1, it will help her for attack and avoid Asakura Attack and then move 2 for the Left and 5 for the Up and Attack.
Then select Haruhi and select Skill 2 and 3 and move on the left of Mikuru and Attack Asakura (Haruhi have a Long Range Attack, that why she can't attack Asakura near of her)
Don't MOVE any CHARACTER NOW! It the best formation for avoid Asakura for healing her wounds!
Select Kyon and select the Skill 3 and 4 and Attack Asakura.
Finally select Nagato and select Skill 1 and 5 and attack.
Finish the Turn and defend again with Kyon, if everything goes well, he will survive and you will begin the last turn.

3rd Turn
The Last One, unless the Good Graphism, you will not receive any bonus strength bonus here (which was 25% Increased Attack Power), so you need to FINISH THIS!
Select Mikuru and Skill 1,2,4 and 6 (increase target, avoid, defense and healing everyone to 100%) and attack.
Before continue, use the 5th Skill of Nagato for decreased Asakura focus on recovering and
then continue with Itsuki by selecting Skill 4 for increased attack and Attack Asakura

Nagato : The Record of the Famous Gloutonous Women Nagato

-Dragon Quest have 3 Character Playable. If you have finish with Haruhi, it will automaticely redirect to Itsuki as a Third Character
- Itsuki as Companion : Haruhi
- Mikuru as Companion : Mikuru
- Nagato as Companion : Nagato

- SOS Wars have only 1 Character and it's Haruhi, there's no over character since everyone joined the Battle against Asakura

Game need to be unlocked is now the Card Game and the Dating Sim Game! (a VERY DIFFERENT GAME)

I personally was a little disappointed with the figure. It's made from the same soft plastic material like most gasaphon figures. Don't expect too much.

I don't mind soft plastic... as long as it looks okay and has good articulation. Personally I prefer figures to have soft plastic unless they're robots. Hard plastic feels wrong. Hasbro have started doing that to Marvel Legends now, Toybiz used more "natural" feeling plastics.

Haruhi have created a Special Closed Space that trapped all the World Again
What's effect? Well... They will make Game Forever until they have not filfully Haruhi... So... They have to do this but there's an effect on the World
They have 4 Weeks for making a Game but those 4 Weeks are actually Infinite Day... Nagato explains to Kyon that they won't grown up, the Actual Timeline of the Real World is STOPPED just like how it was on Yakusoku, except that This Time, the entire SOSGroup will remember everything whereas the Real world don't know anything and will forget the Day after...
You have 4 weeks for making Game but actually even if you finish Good Graphism, Bad Graphism or Game Over, you actually trapped again on the Closed Space until you haven't completed Games. There's 3 + 3 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 Games actually but the last one have a lot of Scenario

There's a lot... It was during Game development, it can be unlocked by making the right event at the right moment
Those events that i record are during the Game development

The First one is when Haruhi think that there's something wrong in the sound Record and she check this with kyon
The Other one that Kyon seems to be tired and Haruhi seems to look at Kyon just like she did on Episode 13 TV (11)
There's many other just when Nagato bite kyon's arms or Mikuru Neck

I'm currently have making 19 Games to 22
84% Game Completed, 45% Gallery Completed
Near the End for the Game but not really since I really Want to complete the Gallery and finish my FAQ

Too be honest I want to see what happens between the couple, I know the game doesnt directly connect to the main story but still I like to see them hook up since I like them as a couple.

To be honest, Haruhi have few Capture Event than Mikuru and Nagato but she have more CG of the Final Game Developement
I'm still help some people on Gamefaqs about the Game
I know that it's a hard game since there's a LOT to do

BTW, Event Capture are not only CG Event, it's a entire Special Event that the Character that you have choose, need to say something important to Kyon and acting more strangly than working on the Game, that why they are called Capture Event.

Well it would be nice with the DQ game if Yuki would ever shut the heck up. Seriously that's kind of annoying. Chihara Minori is always a given as an unpleasant voice to hear but I don't remember Haruhi's voicing annoying me that much during the anime. I did remember Kyon's annoying me (I've never liked Sugita Tomokazu nor Chihara Minori much, moreso the latter since the former is at least tolerable whereas Minori frankly shouldn't even be voice acting period), but even he is alright here by comparsion. So all in all only Kyon and Mikuru seem to not irritate me as I watch these clips......huh.... :confused:

So is there really much to playing the games that you make or are they mostly mini-games or what. Also is their some sort of gameplay element to making the games in and of themselves. Seems like the right direction for a Haruhi game to take, but also a bit confusing.

Well she's kind of bland. I can't very well lie and say I find her enrapturing. On the plus side the game does what the PS2 is the champion of, 2D graphics. It took another generation after that to truly realize top notch 3D graphics, but the PS2 is the king of spectacular looking sprites. It's just a shame the audio isn't what I imagined. I guess it's all the frequent talk after the series about how great the cast was, but I remember them being better than this (other than Minori).

And also how much I'd get reselling the game without the figure?The limited edition of the game + figure originally sells for 10,290 yen ($96.05) and just the game alone sells for 7,140 yen ($66.65), so if you want to resell the game completely unopened, I suppose you can try selling it at the regular edition price... Though I don't know anything about the import game resale market. =/

If the figure was a stand-alone, it probably would've been worth 2,500 yen ($23.34). You can get it separately off Yahoo! Auction Japan for about 4,000-5,000 yen, including shipping within Japan...

Anyway, I made a "Haruhi Media Player" (Open source), it still needs improvemens, and I guess it will never be really good, but like I wrote in SourceForge, it's just meant to be a fun player, its Default skin looks like this:

In truth though I don't really like quiet mumbly characters at all and that Chihara Minori seems to insist on doing them does not appear as a feather in her cap as a Seiyuu by any means to me. They are among my least favourite character archetypes. Well unless they are lolis like Fate Testarossa (and let me tell you that Nana Mizuki does that whole role better than Minori would have). Lolis can get away with almost offence it seems. :heh:

That and if you've ever played a game called Jikyuu Oshaberi Parodius you'd know why I find characters narrating game events in the exact same tone and voice over and over can get annoying very quickly. Now make that voice a Seiyuu I don't really care for at all and I'm really glad somebody mentioned you can turn that off. It's one of those moments where I just have to wonder what the scenario designer was thinking when he/she added that option. Kyon would have been the more obvious choice.

Bad Version don't have Asakura, Kyon's sister Card and Computer Club whereas Good Version have them.

SOS Fortune Adventure is just like a Board Game. Take Mario Party and remove all mini game when you stay in a Circle. The goal is to defeat the most Godman as you can by staying at them, your points will increased to 30000. And you need to have the most amount points as possible. Remember that at the end of result, the game will count how many time you have (Stay on Blue, Red, Card and Defeat Godman, you will have a bonus + 30000 if you have a lot of one of many of them)
Bad version have the average to have a roulette for 1 to 6 but only one Roulette whereas Good Version have 2 roulettes with only 1 and 6 (means that you can have 2, 7 or 12). Bad Version is good for knowing each character abilities since Kyon's really useless on Good version since his abilities is to generate 2 Roulettes :heh:.

SOSWars is just like Super Robot Taisen. You will fight a powerful opponent which is Asakura here and which having the most greatest Stats. Kyon need to stay Alive, or else it's Game Over. The Game is just like how the episode 4 of the Original Order of Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuutsu, happen. Except that Haruhi, Mikuru and Itsuki will came to save Kyon and fight everyone Asakura.
Bad Version is the Most difficult Level, since Asakura have a greatest Stats and the other doesn't. You need the most best strategy to beat the Bad version since the Good is VERY Easy.

SOSRPG is just a Dragon Quest Parody Game. You are Kyon the Knight of the Kingdom and you will be assist with "Chouyusha Haruhi" to defeat the Great King Beelzeburg which is the Computer club president. The King Tsuruya order you to do this. Depend of the character you have choose, you need to defeat her/him first before joining the Group and then Fight Beelzeburg. I Assume that Nagato is VERY POWERFUL, it's really a pain to defeat her first since she can avoid easily all attack and nullify all Tech of Kyon... And she can easily kill Kyon with her Dagger Throwing Attack... Also Beelzeburg is very easy but ;). You can reverse the Role and fight King Tsuruya which is MORE POWERFUL than Nagato and Beelzeburg since her Nyoro Laser Beam can easily damage most of 2/3 of Max HP of all character. Nagato was near the Death when i saw this... There's an additionnal scene too with Kyon little sister Princess that can be trigger.

For the Princess Maker game that call Promotion Game, it's just like Princess Maker. You need to train your daughter for accomplish her Goal. You have only 4 Months for train her good. Mikuru, Nagato and Haruhi need differents stats to Win... So they need different education...

I'm still currently finish this FAQ, it's still pretty long since i'm alone to do this...
I had give a lot of help for Gamefaqs user about the Game...
I have done all the Game on GOOD and BAD except the SOS Love Game which is the Final Game. I'm exciting to done the Haruhi Path :D

Bad version have the average to have a roulette for 1 to 6 but only one Roulette whereas Good Version have 2 roulettes with only 1 and 6 (means that you can have 2, 7 or 12). Bad Version is good for knowing each character abilities since Kyon's really useless on Good version since his abilities is to generate 2 Roulettes :heh:.

SOSWars is just like Super Robot Taisen. You will fight a powerful opponent which is Asakura here and which having the most greatest Stats. Kyon need to stay Alive, or else it's Game Over. The Game is just like how the episode 4 of the Original Order of Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuutsu, happen. Except that Haruhi, Mikuru and Itsuki will came to save Kyon and fight everyone Asakura.
Bad Version is the Most difficult Level, since Asakura have a greatest Stats and the other doesn't. You need the most best strategy to beat the Bad version since the Good is VERY Easy.

SOSRPG is just a Dragon Quest Parody Game. You are Kyon the Knight of the Kingdom and you will be assist with "Chouyusha Haruhi" to defeat the Great King Beelzeburg which is the Computer club president. The King Tsuruya order you to do this. Depend of the character you have choose, you need to defeat her/him first before joining the Group and then Fight Beelzeburg. I Assume that Nagato is VERY POWERFUL, it's really a pain to defeat her first since she can avoid easily all attack and nullify all Tech of Kyon... And she can easily kill Kyon with her Dagger Throwing Attack... Also Beelzeburg is very easy but ;). You can reverse the Role and fight King Tsuruya which is MORE POWERFUL than Nagato and Beelzeburg since her Nyoro Laser Beam can easily damage most of 2/3 of Max HP of all character. Nagato was near the Death when i saw this... There's an additionnal scene too with Kyon little sister Princess that can be trigger.

For the Princess Maker game that call Promotion Game, it's just like Princess Maker. You need to train your daughter for accomplish her Goal. You have only 4 Months for train her good. Mikuru, Nagato and Haruhi need differents stats to Win... So they need different education...

I'm still currently finish this FAQ, it's still pretty long since i'm alone to do this...

I assume it's part of the game, considering it's based off of the time travel plotline in the unanimated "Endless Eight".

"Bad Graphism" means 8-bit, NES-Style graphics that are an option for most of the games.

The game has the option of enabling "bad graphics" for the minigames you can make. The game itself looks fairly awesome.

Yeah, pretty much the entire point of the game is to make a game that pleases Haruhi. If she's not impressed, time loops around itself and you get to make it all over again.

There's some event that ara really funny to trigger.
There's one with Mikuru and Nagato which change their body
Mikuru was on Nagato Body and Nagato was on Mikuru body, the dubbing was really great
Chihara Minori as Mikuru was great to heard, she sound timid and Gotou-san took a serious expression. Haruhi was unbeliavable to heard those person when she check Mikuru by touching her.

Chaotikz from Gamefaqs have released a English Patch for the Game : Suzumiya Haruhi No Yakusoku for PSP

Since it's a First Patch, not everything is translated but enough for making the Game Playable for anyone
With this and my FAQ, it's not a problem now for enjoying the full experience of the PSP Game

1) That probably means that there will be a english language patch for the PS2 game eventually right?
2) How do you get the patch onto your PSP(I dont have one, but its probably similar to a PS2, and I could use that info if there's an english patch)?

The few i heard is that my FAQ was really useful for them as for my Gamesave for checking all translation

PS2 Game, it's still a pain for getting Robe Event...
The Plot for Haruhi, Mikuru and Nagato are all the Same for this event but difficult to trigger because one of them usually get tired in the middle of the Event and broke the Chain Event...

There's 178 Events to trigger but only 57 of them are really important since they unlock Picture Event...
I'm on 74% Gallery and 94% Game Completed... Only just 16 Events Pictures i need to trigger and 1 Game with 5 Character to complete before beating the Game at 100%

Remain Event Picture need to be trigger (that also mean how many video i need to record for each of them)
Haruhi : 4 (ponytail, arm, robe, ice cream)
Mikuru : 6 (cat ear, robe, yukata, date, kyon's ear, and rest) [her Events are REALLY DIFFICULT TO TRIGGER!]
Nagato : 4 (nagato long hair, nagato culinary, nagato robe, park event)
Itsuki : 2 (dance and special dress)
Final Game Pictures : 8 (5 date ending + 3 real ending)
Ending Pic : 2 (Special Picture when final game finish and before begin the Real ED sequence)
