Wow, no posts yet?

Stole the first one :p

OK, so in this episode it seems we'll get to see the 'bad guys' past. Is there anyone else who says the redhaired girl we saw in the preview is Agito?

LoweGear

Not quite a question of if she's Agito... more like a question what the heck is being done to her anyways :twitch: Also, Zest and Lutecia appearing at what I assume is the airport fire, which links them to that scene.

I wonder if the flashback scenes this ep will be as heart wrenching as Fate's in season one. Hopefully more background story gets revealed in the ep.... more cuteness of Vivio is indeed welcome too....

why do i get the image of fate chan crushing a concrete pillar with her fingers behind a wall while spying on the bonding session 4koma style? :p

Yeah its easy to see a jealous Fate doing that behind closed doors. Though if Nanoha ever saw her being anything but kind to Vivio there would be a disapointed look.

Should be a good episode since we'll find out what's going on in terms of Agito etc.

How much longer to airing? gah wanna see and read synopsis on this ep so bad for revelations on Lutecia (really wanna know about her past and why number 11 is so important to her)

Vivio moments will be nice to :heh:

Rest assured, the kid is harmless XD.
To the episode itself, I sure hope they keep their staple action scenes in.
We all know how well they did it in the 2-ep flashback of the Wolkenritter.

It's an amazing coincidence that both groups who do subs on the series seem to have had translators go on vacations at the same time, isn't it?

Most of the translation groups seem to be dropping StrikerS because they can't be asked apparently to wait past the training episodes and due to lack of patience, dub the whole series as 'awful and not worth our time'. At least that's what Triad did anyway.

Geez episode 13 will be on soon, and I still don't know what's really been going on in episodes 10, 11, and 12... xD

Yes, yes. It does fit Fate as well, but I'd like to see Nanoha taking care of a kid. Maybe that would lessen the impact of 'The White Devil' :heh: :heh:

Neither translator is on vacation. There's other reasons. yesy's 10 at least will be out really soon.

Neither group has dropped the show either. DGz/Nanoha's 8 is in timing.

As for episode 13:

I'll let someone who can understand it better do the summary. Vivio leaves the hospital (Nanoha finds her just outside) and Schach scares her :P I feel mean for laughing but it was comical >_> Fate does the mothering thing so well, but Vivio seems to like Nanoha more. There's a ominous-sounding meeting between Hayate/Carim/Chrono/Nanoha/Fate, as well as more Lt. General investigating RF6. The end has Hayate having a flashback to the old days, including the part where they had to send Reinforce away; she also talks about Graham and has a picture of him in her scrapbook.

Another revealation & explaination episode, so naturally it racks action... but who minds about that.
- Episode starts with Agito's flashback of her past in some research lab, which she describes as endless pain even without hope of peaceful death.
She appears to be not, however, created in there, that she can't remember by detail now but she says she had more past. (or so I think I heard)

- Zest and Lulu raids the lab, or at least they were in there engulfed in flame, and find Agito and free her.
Zest insisted to leave her just outside of wreaked lab, so that TSAB will eventually find her and she'll hopefully get better treatment than she were, as a Genuine Ancient Velka Unison Device, not a replica.
Lulu objects, that she'll be a marmot anyway, so they'd rather take her with them.

- Agito wakes up in some lake-side accompanied with Zest and Lulu, in anger of horrible nightmare.
She then recalls their encounter with RF6, especially against Rein, and that (she mistakenly thought that) she has the meister of certain hammer knight while Agito herself is meister-less.
She thinks that Rein most likely have no idea how sorrowful it is to be a Unison Device without master, and swears revenge.

- Scene pans to Fate-car driven by Signum, with Nanoha as passenger, on their way to the Church's hospital.
However, Schach sends them an urgent call, that the blonde-loli went missing.

- Fate-car arrives and Schach greets them, that every way out are blocked that she shouldn't have went out of area and asks them to help her search loli.
(btw, Schach is rather upset in these scene... cute, I'd say ;))

- Signum and Schach chat as they search a corridor, that although the loli's magic power is relatively large, but still not out of threshold of natural-born child.
However, data from examination clearly tells that she is an artifical being... so magic power alone can not measure her.

- Nanoha finds her in courtyard, and comes face to face with her.
Schach finds them just in time and set-up her device (yes, it's a pair of Tanfa!) and jumps in between them, trying to "defend" Nanoha.
Obviously scared by her, the loli starts crying... Schach is a hasty person :heh:
Nanoha pushes Schach aside and greets the loli, and now we officially know her name; Vivio.

- Hayate and Fate discussing in CO. room about the rumor of upcoming inspection.
Fate insists Hayate to tell them the true reason of RF6's establishment, for it'll be crucial in inspection as well.
Hayate tells back that they'll be visiting Church from now on, so she'll do it there.

- 2 Aces then try to contact Nanoha, only to find that Vivio crying and going clingy on Nanoha that she didn't leave Nanoha's side till RF6 base, with Steaks trying to stop her crying without any success.
Fate shows her professional-mamma skill and subsequently let her go of Nanoha... she is one hell of Momma!
Erio and Caro explains that Fate has experience from Chrono's chillren as well as Arf, then Teana teases them that Erio&Caro, too, are the "experience".
(Nanoha going "help me- :heh:" = GOLD)

- Aces leave the base to head to Church, and Vivio left with Erio and Caro are looking after her.
- Subaru and Teana are going through desk-job, writing report of previous battle.
As Erio and Caro are unavailable at the moment thanks to baby-sitting, they volunteered to write theirs too.
Apparently Teana prefers desk-job rather than baby sitting, which Subaru replies that she actually enjoyed it.

- Subaru moves on to write the part regarding Numbers, and she's astonished that after all the stuff Numbers did, they were not using magic - but other different power source.
She also thinks further about that matter, that as they have such "energy" inside them, they're most likely...
But Teana interupts her with her state-of-are finger, and reminds Subaru that it's up to Leaders and Long-Arch to decide how to deal with them, and they're merely writing report to help them make decision.
Subaru thanks Teana, which makes her blushes in good tsundere way.

- Aces arrives at the Church and meets Carim and Chrono... it's revealed that it's the first time Carim meets N&F.
At first, both N&F kept all the polite manner, greeting to Chrono in "Admiral Chrono" with respecting way of talking, but as Carim tells them that the all are friends so relax, they both goes their usual tone.
Fate calls him "Oniichan", which made him obviously embarrassed... Hey, who did let Chaos write the script for Anime Ep? :heh:

- Vivio finally goes to bed, so finally Erio and Caro can take a break... Caro really thinks she's an ordinary child, but Erio thinks otherwise.
He thinks that, if she's an artifical mage, it's unnatural that she already has language literacy and advanced knowledge... as even artifical mage born in "natural" way, it wouldn't make something like her.
He concludes that she has her own "memories" of the original person she's copied from... and that "Project F" is not yet died.

- Back to Carim's room, Chrono reminds viewers about who's backing up RF6; Chrono, Carim, and Lindy.
However, it's also revealed that 3 Legendary Admirals also supported the establishment, and unofficially promissed them that they'll give RF6 assistance if necessary.

- Now they're moving to the true reason...
First, Carim explains her own ability... of making Prophecy of closer future (from half a year, to several years maximum) and scribble it in a form of poem.
It's not too convenient, however, for she can make prophecies only one day per a year due to the placement of moons, and as these poems are written in Ancient Velka language so that they can be interpleted in many way, and prophecy only writes down the random upcoming events, so she may not be able to get the one she wants the most.
Due to the all these nature of prophecy, it's only marginally trustable than your neighberhood fortune-teller, so although all the TSAB's higher-ups reads through it, it's mostly ragarded as one of many expectation coming from analyst.
Unsuprisingly, Ground Army doesn't like this prophecy thing... because top of Ground Army is Regius himself. :rolleyes:

- Since several years back, one ominous events started appearing on her prophecy... that can be interpleted that,
"An incident start with presence of Lost Logia, which leads to the destruction of TSAB Ground Center, and eventually result in breakup of entire TSAB systems."
(Please pardon me for not translating the poem Carim is reading... it's 4 a.m!! :heh:)

- Scene moves to Regius's office where Auris, his secretary, re-confirms that the inspection is scheduled in next week.
Regius says that whatever RF6 are plotting, it has always been the Ground, not Navy, that protected the world with their blood, and he swears that he won't let neither Navy nor Church do plans as they want.
He also reminds her that they've got higher-ups on their side, so don't worry and just find whatever scandal they have to blame.
Auris then tells him her reports from pre-inspection, which concludes that RF6 is well-made to be a scandal-proof, consisting mostly of newer personnel and only exists as an experimental unit for a limited time only.
Regius then regards them as "disposable" unit, well worth for criminal like Hayate.
Auris, however, seemed to show some sympathy to Hayate in that scene... that she thinks Hayate might even have asked for that "disposable" possition.

- Back to RF6 base, Aces splits back to their room... but Hayate stops N&F for some words.
Hayate reminds them that although they've yet to see how RF6 will result in, they're savior of her life no matter what.
N&F says don't mind it, that they're helped by Yagami family quite a lot too, and that's what friends are about.
Finally N&F tells her that she's doing nothing wrong, so give out order without worry, which Hayate takes and thank them.

- After the scene with N&F, Erio, Caro and Vivio, camera moves to Hayate's office in dark.
Hayate pulls out a photo album and starts her recollection of past...
Graham, Nanoha, Fate, Reinforce I, Wolkenlitter... she thanks everyone for her being alive in present.
Then she expresses her determination that she does not want anyone in this world to suffer the sadness like she had when Rein I went away... and that She'll use her own life for that goal.Now... what the... another Supa Paranoia Taimu, this time they're hinting Hayate's death.
Both nico comments and 2ch are already flaming for her I'm-going-to-die-in-show kind of determination... :uhoh:

Well, yes, we'll see, we'll see...Titled "Mothers & Children", next EP again features training season...
Hopefully there're more than that, but guessing that all the fun would be brought into Ep14.5 a.k.a SS02, I'm not hoping high.

Some episode SPOILERS lifted off 4chan, regarding RF6...

Hayate is REALLY close friends with one of the Legendary Three. There's an outside chance that she was tapped by her to spearhead a team that would act as a backup in the event that the TSAB itself became infiltrated, corrupt or whatever. Hayate is, afterall, the girl who had the willpower to bring a Lost Logia to heel.

I posted that. And considering what we have seen so far, it's the most logical conclusion to draw from the context.

Hayate and the Knights are the bodyguards of one of the Legendary Three and have an AMAZINGLY positive relationship with her. (She lets Vita get away with calling her Granny). Why the hell else would ANYONE authorize having enough firepower in one team within the city limits to nuke the whole city twice over?

that night fate chan and nanoha says goodbye to hayate...but as they tried to walk off hayate runs to them and says sorry...even though they are friends they havent been together during battle...but non of this matters to fate chan and nanoha as no matter what the are still friends...

you forgot to mention the most important part of this episode

Knight Carim has the power of foresight/fortune telling. Think lovely ghost writter from Hunter x Hunter

and with her ability she predicts that a great disaster will befall the TSAB

My, my. This is the most interesting info we've had so far. So now,

Apparently, our speculations on a corrupt branch of the TSAB have a possibility of becoming true. Now that Paladin Carim has predicted a great disaster I mean

Who will bet that Hayate and RF6 will actually be the ones who destroy TSAB? :p

I don't know, Hayate has this "It's for the greater good" vibe about her, even if you disregard the scene in 12 that I would have subbed "mwhahaha run peons run!"

@Flar
Then that means that Hayate and the Knights would be joining Spaghetti's ranks. I definitely protest to such an outcome. If they're brainwashed, possessed or something like that, then OK, but if they do it willingly, then I don't know what'll happen to the show.

well I couldn't tell (well to be honest never really looked) but I thought they were green lol

So problems within and a prediction of TSAB's fall (or at least a major hit) by Carim. And RF6's true motive revealed^^ It looks to be the finally boss maybe TSAB (or a part of it) More likely now is that the client is infact in TSAB (points at that Secretary) Definitly going to be one epic fight in the end^^

When Hayate flipped to that page with Graham, he looked really, really old. And for some reason Aria and Lotte are/were in their natural forms (aka. cat form).

And Hayate seems rather sad while looking at his photo.

Methinks very possibly Graham has already passed away. Either that or he's not too far from it.

Hayate is referred to as the last lord of the night sky. Plus there were quite some foreboding with her in this episode. The title "inochi no riyuu" / "meaning of life refers to Hayate's monologue at the end of this episode

- Scene pans to Fate-car driven by Signum, with Nanoha as passenger, on their way to the Church.

- 2 Aces then try to contact Nanoha, only to find that Vivio crying and going clingy on Nanoha that she didn't leave Nanoha's side till RF6 base, with Steaks trying to stop her crying without success.
Fate shows her professional-mamma skill and subsequently let her go of Nanoha... she is one hell of Momma!
Erio and Caro explains that Fate has experience from Chrono's chillren as well as Arf, then Teana teases them that Erio&Caro, too, are the "experience".
(Nanoha going "help me- :heh:" = GOLD)I'm writing B part now and will edit into this post, so come back later!

And I thought Subaru was the new Shinn.

Agito's got the role now.

An Agito vs. Rein fight is going to be fun to watch. But then

Of course, Rein beats Agito in every encounter and Agito responds with "Go to hell!" every time she fails.

Rein = Kamille
Agito = Jerid

We'll see though

So Agito is a device, Lulu is a summoner and Zest is a Knight. Is there anything else revealed about them in this episode? It would be interesting to see things from the "bad guys" 's point of view.

Agito is more emo than originally thought.

Lutecia hasn't had a hug yet.

And Zest is her boy-toy by default...

It's mentioned already but Agito has lord/meister/master envy and has declared Reinforce to be her sworn enemy

This episode was more about Nanoha trying to be a mother towards Vivio but not doing that well and having to rely on Fate's experience

and of course, Carim's smack in your face, prophecy of doom and gloom

edit: oh yeah, Subaru mentioned something about the numbers. She says that the Numbers do not use magic energy are are deriving their power from something else.

But keep in mind, Subaru might be wrong.

Just to point out a logical counter-argument to the notion of Hayate being the 'king' mentioned. She can't be a king because she serves someone else. And the reason that Hayate is IN the position she's in is because she doesn't hold loyalty to normal chains of command. Her commanding officers are Carim and Chrono. And above them she ONLY reports to a member of the Three Legends. If General Wideload tries to make too many waves, he'll find wrath coming down on his head from on high.

If you ask me, my third eye says that:

1) Nanoha's past will catch up to her and she will be knocked out again
2) Dr Scag will make good of his declaration and capture Fate
3) Hayate will join Kamina and Theresa's tea party in heaven

and this is where team newbie comes in and try to save the day..

For the most part, I'm with you on #2, Key Board. But I guess it would be something like capture Fate to put Nanoha in a situation, maybe leading to #1 prediction? I honestly thought Fate or Elio would be focused in on because of them being "remnants of Project F," Fate being more so important because she's the first (I think)?

Not so sure about Hayate. Maybe it's just because of the kind of vibes this show gives off, but who knows? I think she might get into a really dangerous situation at most, but if it comes down to that, her knights are most likely going with her.

Oh man are you telling me that guy actually survived? I never read the rest because I heard one of the characters I liked died. I'm tracking down the author of this one.

Overall I think people have gotten a little too concerned about character death. I just can't see Hayate missing the bullet last season just to be killed off here. She's determined sure but I'm not worried about her dying on us.

I can see Fate or Erio getting captured at some point. Fate may be a higher priority because she's an older part of Project F. Or they may target Erio because he's newer I'd assume and possibly easier to capture.

Okay... so we learn more about Vivio, that Erio's not ready to be straight w/Caro about his past yet (who would?), and MORE FORESHADOWING

So far the biggest revelation of not just the ep, but the StrikerS series in general. It goes to the tune of "A King will perish, a Tower will fall, and a Ship will sink." Okay, time to break it down.

A King will Perish: There is a good amount of speculation that this refers to Hayate, and that she is the addressee of the line. However, I find this unlikely. In order to even get close to Hayate, they'd have to, at the very least, go through Rein and all four Wolkenritter, then take on Hayate herself. So, unless they're planning on killing her in one of those ignominious kinds of death, she's relatively safe.

Others, however, are not so well guarded. My guess is that King is reference to the position of the line's subject - someone in a very high position of power. There are at least six people that we can think of in that sort of position: Chrono, Lindy, the Legendary Three Admirals, and Carim herself.

Analysis of "King" likelihood:

Note: My guess as to the purpose of the "King" is to inspire MD6 to action; the death triggers the warpath response - we won't stop fighting until the fight is done. (See TV Tropes Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night to understand my thinking)

Chrono: Possible.

Why Yes: While he has had some screentime within the series, it's not been much considering that this first half as primarily dealt with training the rookies and the bureaucracy of TSAB. And while he IS an admiral, it's made evidently clear in 1st season that he is not as magically powerful as Nanoha or Fate (and therefore Hayate as well), and that means he'd be more likely to die in a straight up slugfest. Plus, he's an Admiral, and while he may not be as influential as the Legendary Three, he still wields considerable power within TSAB. Our ultimate villains (more on that later), if within TSAB, could see him as a potential threat and decide to have him eliminated. The fact that Chrono's now a family man doesn't make him immune; it would make his death more shocking a la FMA's Hughes.

Why No: On the other hand, Chrono's been an integral part of the series since the first season; killing him would inspire MD6 to action, but it would deprive the series of one of it's prime male leads, and cause all sorts of problems down the road unless they killed him like X's Sorata - right at the tail end. Plus, if TSAB's corrupt, it's going to need movers and shakers to clean up afterwards - and Chrono'd be a prime candidate.

Final Verdict: I think for the most part, Chrono's safe as long as he keeps himself away from the fighting - the fact that it'd cause several problems is an excellent deterrent.

Lindy: Somewhat Probable.

Why: Lindy's role in the series is really pretty much over - she's not even listed in the cast. But killing her would be a way to achieve substantial impact without the problems of dealing with one of the active characters - Lindy's been like a mother or aunt to a great deal of the cast, and that'd give the necessary impact.

Verdict: If she ever gets brought up within the series, or Earth does in reference to her, she's probably a goner. If she remains as invisible as she has been, however, she's safe.

The Legendary Three: No Way on two, Quite Possible on the other

Why: The only LegenThree Adm. vulnerable would be "Grandma" - it's her relationship with Hayate and MD6 that makes her a target. However, she IS legendary - it'd be a stretch for even one of her former comrades to take her out - assassination anyone?

Verdict: "Grandma"'s got a 50:50 chance of survival, just like Lindy.

Carim: Possible.

Why: Carim's played a major role in this series - she's MD6's connection to the Saint Church, and she's had a good amount of screen time. What puts her at risk, however, is her ability to see the future - the villains could see that as a threat and decide to take her out. Like Chrono, however, she'll be needed if TSAB's corrupt and needs cleaning up postseries.

Verdict: Carim's the dark horse candidate in all this - the long shot.

Final Verdict As to the "King:" The most likely choices right now are Chrono and "Grandma," with "Grandma" edging out only because of the problem's Chrono's death would cause.

A Tower Will Fall: The Tower has always been the place of sanctuary; it falling will mean that someone no longer has a place to stay.

What is the Tower?: In all likelihood, MD6's HQ. It's the place that we've come to know and love - and its loss means that MD6 is on the run, with no place to go.

A Ship Will Sink: This is probably in connection to the Tower; after the fall of MD6's HQ, they'll move to one of TSAB's ships for home. That ship will probably be used near the very end to accomplish some major objective a la Starcraft's Tassadar aboard the Gantrithor.

WHO ARE THE ENEMY?!: There are currently three parties who could be considered the true enemy: Scaglietti and the Numbers, the Client, or corrupt parts of TSAB.

You mean it's not Lutecia?: No. Lutecia has made it evidently clear that she's like a pirate; only in it for what she can get out of it. As the Mafia say, it's nothing personal; just business.

Scaglietti & the Numbers: They're similar to A's Wolkenritter; just here because they've got a job to do. They're the ones MD6 will end up fighting the most, but they're not the true villains, just the "enforcers."

The Client: No two ways about it - the Client is definitely the ultimate villain in this series. The question remains, though, who is the Client?

Is it TSAB?: Quite possibly. Our airhead Adm. and his secretary seem awfully hateful of Hayate and MD6 - but past experience has taught me that 8/10 times, the asshole is simply an asshole and nothing more. But there could be other factions within TSAB at work.

In Short: The Client is the One True Enemy, but we've no idea as to who that is at this point.

Just my thoughts on the matter.:D

Just my thoughts on the matter.:D

Interesting points you've thrown here, but

I'm not sure Lindy is a probability and Chrono being killed? Nah. StrikerS already has a bad reputation because of its slow start, killing off Chrono would mean fans sending death threats to the director (a la Neon Genesis Evangelion) Carim snuffing it doesn't fit neither because if she's the Leader of The Saint Church, she's gotta be quite powerful and as far as we know, looks like she has about the same power as an Admiral. "Grandma" joining the Heavenly tea party sounds credible, but she's one of the "Legendary Admirals" and since she's female I'm guessing she's pretty powerful (Come on, everytime they put girls in this show they turn out to be hyper powerful, don't flame me :heh: )

A King will perish doesn't neccesarily imply literal death of a King. Like all prophecy mumbo-jumbo, words are always cryptic in 2 ways or 3. Even if the King refers to Hayate, it could simply mean that Hayate would eventually lose her position as RF6's leader or even within TSAB. It has the possibility of working in-hand with Regius's current attempts to find dirt on Hayate. In other words, the King simply loses his throne and place as a King, but not the life.

However, even if "King" Hayate dies, it's not like the subjects will betray her or change allegiance. The Wolkies will stick to Hayate be it life or death, Nanoha and Fate are friends, and well...the rest, are young, idealistic and stupid....probably.

Of course, this only applies IF Hayate is King. She's not the sole user of AB, she's not the highest person in TSAB, and it's implied she's not even the most powerful strength-wise in TSAB, so there's a lot of different leeways around.

Last but not least...what's the greatest prophechy cliche ever? Prophecies are meant to be defied and changed. Be it with the power of courage, love, friendship, whatever...

And lookie here...what looks like will be Graham's only (( hopefully not )) StrikerS-related appearance (( pictures, but I'm easily satisfied )). And yes...it does have the "Graham may be dead" vibe. Well... even if that's the case, that's life.

Yeah cryptic prophecies and things like that can really let you go all over the place with them. Something like a King could perish. Well a King is a source of power and absolute authority. Ruling over its subjects, making laws and generally just being the great power. Does the King in this case have to be a person like Hayte? Or are we simply talking about the fall of TSAB? Guys like Regius certainly seem to think of it as a ruling force. Could just be depicting the fall of TSAB.

I just can't see them getting rid of Chrono. This show has done a great job of giving doom and death for a majority of characters. First we have the death of Nanoha, and now all of this kind stuff going on.

Was honestly surprised they threw in the onii-chan part. Chrono's face was just priceless.

But yeah Fate probably clued him in somewhere along the way. Unless while he was in the lab they informed him what he was apart of. But yeah if Fate has the memories of Alicia, and Vivio probably has memories of someone as well, have to wonder about Erio in that.

With this series I just have a hard time seeing any of the forwards getting killed. Suppose anything can happen, but I doubt they'd go and make Caro upset like that.

@ Fuyu no Sora:

Re: The King

I've gone over the thread and realized that you're right - Chrono's unlikely due to the popular factor; Lindy's practically nonexistent, "Grandma" could probably blow up a planet; and Carim = Admiral. I don't think that Genya's the "King;" not enough authority. "A King will Perish" is probably a metaphor after all.

As far as the "King" speculation goes, having one of the previous or current primary cast die would seem to me to not fit in with the way the Nanoha franchise has gone so far.

And for Carim's prophecy in general, I believe Nanoha & Company will end up invoking the 33rd rule of the If I Become A Magical Girl (http://www.angelfire.com/anime/Slacker/girl.txt) list:

"I will not try to defy prophecy, as that never works. Rather, I will find a way to manipulate said prophecy to my favor."

I don't know why but I get a feeling the church can't be trusted. Could it be that Carim's vision is in fact an atempt to create in fighting TSAB. If one of the Three Admirals were now to die (maybe secretly killed by the church) there would be chaos. The TSAB would now looks extremly guilty of being corupt after the content of this episode's 'vision'.
Making Hayate (and by extention RF6) choose between 'her people' and TSAB. So if RF6 were to fight the 'corupt' TSAB both would be majorly drained. Making the only group with enough clout to do the job afterwards the church. Quite possibly with a force of Relic empowered mages made by a certain mad scientist. :eyebrow:

Major paranoia or Devious plot :confused:

woot yay got to see the raw^^ seeing as most people have already gone over the basics I'll just mention my thoughts on a few parts.

Agito's past - hard to tell who was experimenting on her but we do find out that Lutecia and Zest were together bofore that moment and that they have similar past in that there lone wolves.

Vivio - man can she wail^^ her VA has got that down pat, just the right annoying pitch that makes anyone crinze at the shear sound of it^^ brillient

"Onii-chan" - man Fate sure knows how to push Crono's buttons^^ nothing beats seeing it live lol that expression was priceless^^

Doom & Gloom - Poor Hayate, she sure feels its her thats meant to perish, but I dought it. I'm actually putting it on the a**h*** I mean Ragius (he was the one who spoke a view eps ago in an interview correct, I forgot) I do however feel it will be an inside job, most likely that secretary (she reminds me of Quttro, with the eyes and glasses) working under the client. Most likely he'll bite the dust along with the HQ and the blame will be placed on RF6 (speculation).

Preview - sigh, back to training, thou we get more bonding moments and the title hints at a relationship between Nanoha and Vivio (she already is quite attached to her to begin with). Looking forward to seeing the new op and ed.

Thing is, from the way Hayate acted in the last part of the episode, she is likely ironically going to be the one whom will cause the prophecy to come true, by aiming on becoming the king in the first place.

In the end, her friends will probably talk some sense into her, by telling her that she is doing nothing but running away and accepting the prophecy, rather than fighting and preventing it from becoming true.

Thinking about it, how would Jail, his numbers, and Team Lutecia fit into all this?

Not liking an all out attack for sure, they couldn't even handle RF6, let alone the whole of TSAB...

Prophecy's tend to be:

a) Misinterpreted
b) Paradox, whereas when one tries to prepare and prevent the prophecy from coming true, in fact, causes said prophecy

d) Actually true (ie: X/1999)

Yeah it's not like RF6 members don't have any pasts that could be brought up. Hayate and her knights involved in YnS incident, Fate with the jewel seed incident, Teana's brother and Subaru wanting to protect her partner. Caro has her past and whatever is known within the TSAB ranks about Erio's origins. Anything could happen during an inspection so we'll have to keep an eye on that.

Prophecies are just a headache. You try to stop them and they come true because of that. Have to think the new loli will have a role outside of being attached to Nanoha. Could be some hidden power that could cause some problems, or related to the relics. Hard to say beyond random speculation.

Geez, the "element of corruption" starting to crop up, and just after I dug up some old memories and played a very old PC game just for nostalgia. The game was Wing Commander IV - The Price of Freedom (released way back in the 90's when most PC's still had MS-DOS and a few started using Windows 95), and coincidentally, had a similar element of corruption in the high command in the story (i.e. the Terran Confederation [the administrative region of space centered on Earth] military has some rogue elements trying to start a war with non-ConFed regions, and the player/protagonist [Col. Christopher Blair] and friends have to defect to the current "opposition", the Union of Border Worlds, to get to the bottom of things, and eventually expose the traitor, none other than the ConFed top official, Adm. Geoffry Tolwyn).

Will Nanoha and the rest of RF6 have to go through the same thing?

As for the grammatical issue of the word "children" in the title of the next episode, recall Neon Genesis Evangelion and the designations of the Eva Pilots (i.e. 1st Children Rei Ayanami, 2nd Children Shinji Ikari, and 3rd Children Asuka Langley Sohryu).

a but prohecies do tend to have some form of truth to them which ever way you look at it. Its just a question of getting the correct translation before its to late (this happens about 0.1% of the time).

Actually Higurashi is a good anime for this as in all arcs in anime form and game the idea is to prevent the great disaster by preventing the pre-determined outcome. The only time you can prevent the doom is if you know the true enemy which we don't know yet.

Hi , I am new here and I already watched this episode. There are few thing that I would like to say about the prediction mentioned by Carim:

The king might noy only represent one person but it might represent a few people at once like the 3 admiral. It might also be the civilians.

The tower might represent a structure and the possible structure could be the organaizational structure of TSAB.

The lost of support is the same as the sinking of a ship. When a ship sink, the people on board of it will lose their support on the sea.

Problem with something vague like a king is unless there is a literal king you have to make some guesses. All we've got is that king is some kind of authority figure. That's true, but the title 'King' has also been given to whoever is best at their field. And the most popular field in this case is the use of magic.

We can't rule that out either.

Wow I looked at the official Triad page. I don't know why StrikerS is the only discontinued thing they dropped with the reason being... 6 words long. Yes. 6 words.

Bleh. Someone should firebomb their houses. <_< Yesssss. Firebombing solves all... Hey are the RAWs on Veoh yet?

I must admit I've wondered if eventually Triad might start to think about having dropped this. Other series or multiseries I know of that they've discontinued had far better reason: in the one I remember best, that reason was the fact that everyone who saw even the first part dreamt of murdering the freak who created it...
Nanoha IS somewhat slow, but only if you compare it to smaller series. Really, I think its pace is rather typical for 26-eps. If a 12-ep generally takes 3 to 5 episodes to set up all the different aspects of the basic story and then another 3-5 to develop the plot and set up the path to victory before the final eps throw all rules out the window, then a 26-ep would likely do 8 to 10, with each section developing like a separate piece in similar fashion. On the plus side this means they can be much more thorough in setting up the backgrounds and dynamics, but on the minus it can seem like forever before things get "serious". Really the timing seems typical. In the first couple eps the very basics are set. Then, through 6 or 7, the general conflict starts to develop. Finally, in 8 and 9, things get really messy as we start to see how things are.
Anyway, can't wait to see this subbed. I'm having a little trouble what they're saying about Fate and little people when she saves Nanoha from the blond creature trying to permanently attach to her.

Guys, I think you missed my point. I'm not saying "geez, there's this annoying guy, wouldn't it be great if he's who the prophecy was talking about?" I'm saying, "Hm, they're talking about a 'king', you don't suppose... it's the guy named King?"

Granted that we're dealing with the Japanese and that it's entirely possible that it's a coincidence. And there's also a Toyota Regius van, which sticks with the naming protocol. But why Regius? It -means- "royal" in Latin, man!

If it's not that, then boo on the Japanese for putting a big ol' red herring in there. (And if it is, possibly boo for being too obvious to somebody who can trace a linguistic root?)

I'm rather late in replying but about the prophecy, I had a slightly different interpretation.
A King will perish <-- My guess the King referred here is Vivio, since the Numbers refer her as the possible seioh. With her death, this will lead to the next part which is...

A Tower will fall <-- I don't think the tower here refers to a structure but to a person instead. My guess is that the 'tower' is referring to Hayate who because of the death of the 'King', will lose (will 'fall') enough reputation and prestige that the a**h*** of a general will use this opportunity to destroy RF6, leading to ...

A Ship will sink <-- The downfall of RF6. Here, I believe 'ship' refers to RF6 and with the sinking of this ship, the group will not only have to fight against Jail and his numbers, Lutecia and the organization but also against the TSAB itself.
PS. Its a bit sad that out of so many females, only Fate is able to handle a child. Though to be fair, she does have memories of a kind motherly Precia from Alicia and have experience with children unlike the rest whose mothers have either died when young (Teana, Subaru, Hayate) or not available (Nanoha, Caro).

PPS. The look on Kyon's Chrono's face when Fate calls him Onii-chan is priceless.:heehee: I wonder if that look he got was because he is being teased by being called onii-chan or because he was surprised at being called onii-chan instead of Ky**.

Nanoha's mother has been available :heh: And it's not like she Neglects Nanoha at all.

It's not about memories, but rather practical experience :p And obviously Fate has to most out of all of them in that field.

Just because you've seen what a mother can/should do, doesn't mean you'll automatically become a pro :heh: (As I've found out the hard way...) It's something you need to experience it for yourself to learn.

Sigh, too bad they nerf the 'Yuuichi' side of him... If not his 'comeback' would've been awesome :p

Why must I put up with these eyecancerous raws? :(

Impressions:

- Still wondering what they were supposed to be doing to Agito... though Lutecia jacket pull wins Zest over once again :D

- I thought Agito swearing vengeance on Rein was bad... until I saw that she did so pouting :heh:

- Way to overreact there Schach, blasting out the window and posing with your blade tonfas in style... just to make a lost little girl cry :heh: She's dangerous I tell ya...

- Also, damn Vivio already ranks as a 10000 moegaton Kawaii superweapon (asides from the unusual pantyshot, which I don't need ichibaka's eyes to see :heh:)

...what?...

- bet Fate and Hayate never expected a crying Vivio clinging unto Nanoha to be the first sight they'll see :heh: LOTS of priceless expressions here :D

- Ala, Fate shows off her motherly side... and while I didn't understand what they're saying, seems Fate's experience came from taking care of Caro and Elio (alas, why those two are blushing :heh: ).

- I thought I saw a ferret in that eyecatch that looked like Yuuno for some reason... :eyebrow:

- Subaru and Teana writing reports as expected... but TEANA FINGER FLICK has POWER :eek:

- "Onii-chan, genki da ta?"

And Fate Wins :D

- In taking care of Vivio, I'm already getting a husband and wife vibe from Elio and Caro... at least they have EXPERIENCE :D

*runs*

- "Prophet Shift"? This is the part I need subs... but still Carim exudes coolness in this scene.

- Regius' secretary really is growing more and more suspicious every second, mumbling something her boss didn't hear...

- For some reason, Vivio running to Nanoha when she returned was a heartwarming scene :)

- Rather ominous ending with Hayate there... reminiscing as she looked at her photo album (Graham, you're really showing your age now :twitch: ).

Damn... the best parts of the episodes needs subs :(

Nanoha's mother didn't die, and she was still on earth at that age.
Fate's *whispering voice* "Conichiwa" (or whatever it's spelled) is culprit here.

But I like your theory.

Graham's being showing his age ever since 4 years ago... Unlike Lindy, the staff members are bent on making him look as old as he should be... even the 3 Admirals look younger than him.

And while the speculations are nice...aren't we all missing bits of the prophecy? Mellow RG said that the full one goes...

a king shall fall and wings shall be revived from the holy land

the dead shall dance as the tower that lies within the middle earth is burned down

following that, ships that sail the infinite seas shall sink

My first thought was Nanoha = King, Revived Wings = Vivio... Granted, there are tons of holes with that interpretation. And the dancing dead? Are they implying countless lifeless Drones will be parading while the Tower goes hellfire down? Or is it the Numbers who are apparently not mages.

The King's line can be taken in many ways, but I hope the Tower and Ship's actual representation are larger than what RF6, Carim are assuming they're going to be.

And seeing how Subaru gauging the Numbers... looks like they're made to fight under AMF situations. Oh boy.

This episode was fun to watch, Schach really jumped the gun here.

I can already imagine 5 4koma out of this episode:

- When Agito is remembering the past, after she's saved, Lutecia comments that she'd be better company than "muscle narcisist Zest" :heh:
- Nanoha using her "gentle smile - scared child version" to calm Vivio down
- Fate calls Chrono "Onii-chan" and he gets a massive nosebleed
- Fate convincing Vivio to "LET GO OF MY NANOHA!!!" (with Zamber ready)
- Erio think of Vivio's origins and Project F, and Caro gets jealous because he's looking at Vivio :heh:

And near the end, we saw Hayate checkig the photo album, we saw Graham and the Lieze twins in their cat form :D

Looking forward to the next episode too :D

The dead shall dance?

:twitch:

Necrons?!?!?!?!!?!

:eek:

*harisen'd to reality*

That's an intriguing line though... could it possibly refer to the results of Project F? Since if it's still the same Project that Precia worked on, then somehow it ties in, since it was supposed to be research on Artificial Humans, and also involves the raising of the dead...

I never said Nanoha's mother is dead. I said not available. If I recall correctly, Nanoha's mother was busy at their shop when the father was badly injured and in hospital and Nanoha herself said that she was alone for most of the time and had to take care of herself.

King
I'm compelled to believe Vivio's the 'king' in this scenario because of what the Numbers called her.

Holy Land
"Holy Land"... Unless somebody can point to another place, I think Al Hazard, the land that could grant any wishes, counts as 'holy'.

Wings
At this point in time, I don't think they have revealed the "wings" of this scenario, but base on the previous two text, and the statements of random villians...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1, Vivio is like a medium (The numbers called her the material).
2, Jail needs a summoner for something, that's where Lutecia comes in.
3, "revived from the holy land", they're going to summon/bring fore something from Al Hazard.
Conclusion: They're going to sacrificed Vivio to bring something LEET into this world...
... The "wings".
Okay... so we learn more about Vivio, that Erio's not ready to be straight w/Caro about his past yet (who would?), and MORE FORESHADOWING
So far the biggest revelation of not just the ep, but the StrikerS series in general. It goes to the tune of "A King will perish, a Tower will fall, and a Ship will sink." Okay, time to break it down.
A King will Perish: There is a good amount of speculation that this refers to Hayate, and that she is the addressee of the line. However, I find this unlikely. In order to even get close to Hayate, they'd have to, at the very least, go through Rein and all four Wolkenritter, then take on Hayate herself. So, unless they're planning on killing her in one of those ignominious kinds of death, she's relatively safe.
Others, however, are not so well guarded. My guess is that King is reference to the position of the line's subject - someone in a very high position of power. There are at least six people that we can think of in that sort of position: Chrono, Lindy, the Legendary Three Admirals, and Carim herself.
Analysis of "King" likelihood:
Note: My guess as to the purpose of the "King" is to inspire MD6 to action; the death triggers the warpath response - we won't stop fighting until the fight is done. (See TV Tropes Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night to understand my thinking)
Chrono: Possible.
Why Yes: While he has had some screentime within the series, it's not been much considering that this first half as primarily dealt with training the rookies and the bureaucracy of TSAB. And while he IS an admiral, it's made evidently clear in 1st season that he is not as magically powerful as Nanoha or Fate (and therefore Hayate as well), and that means he'd be more likely to die in a straight up slugfest. Plus, he's an Admiral, and while he may not be as influential as the Legendary Three, he still wields considerable power within TSAB. Our ultimate villains (more on that later), if within TSAB, could see him as a potential threat and decide to have him eliminated. The fact that Chrono's now a family man doesn't make him immune; it would make his death more shocking a la FMA's Hughes.
Why No: On the other hand, Chrono's been an integral part of the series since the first season; killing him would inspire MD6 to action, but it would deprive the series of one of it's prime male leads, and cause all sorts of problems down the road unless they killed him like X's Sorata - right at the tail end. Plus, if TSAB's corrupt, it's going to need movers and shakers to clean up afterwards - and Chrono'd be a prime candidate.
Final Verdict: I think for the most part, Chrono's safe as long as he keeps himself away from the fighting - the fact that it'd cause several problems is an excellent deterrent.
Lindy: Somewhat Probable.
Why: Lindy's role in the series is really pretty much over - she's not even listed in the cast. But killing her would be a way to achieve substantial impact without the problems of dealing with one of the active characters - Lindy's been like a mother or aunt to a great deal of the cast, and that'd give the necessary impact.
Verdict: If she ever gets brought up within the series, or Earth does in reference to her, she's probably a goner. If she remains as invisible as she has been, however, she's safe.
The Legendary Three: No Way on two, Quite Possible on the other
Why: The only LegenThree Adm. vulnerable would be "Grandma" - it's her relationship with Hayate and MD6 that makes her a target. However, she IS legendary - it'd be a stretch for even one of her former comrades to take her out - assassination anyone?
Verdict: "Grandma"'s got a 50:50 chance of survival, just like Lindy.
Carim: Possible.
Why: Carim's played a major role in this series - she's MD6's connection to the Saint Church, and she's had a good amount of screen time. What puts her at risk, however, is her ability to see the future - the villains could see that as a threat and decide to take her out. Like Chrono, however, she'll be needed if TSAB's corrupt and needs cleaning up postseries.
Verdict: Carim's the dark horse candidate in all this - the long shot.
Final Verdict As to the "King:" The most likely choices right now are Chrono and "Grandma," with "Grandma" edging out only because of the problem's Chrono's death would cause.
A Tower Will Fall: The Tower has always been the place of sanctuary; it falling will mean that someone no longer has a place to stay.
What is the Tower?: In all likelihood, MD6's HQ. It's the place that we've come to know and love - and its loss means that MD6 is on the run, with no place to go.
A Ship Will Sink: This is probably in connection to the Tower; after the fall of MD6's HQ, they'll move to one of TSAB's ships for home. That ship will probably be used near the very end to accomplish some major objective a la Starcraft's Tassadar aboard the Gantrithor.
WHO ARE THE ENEMY?!: There are currently three parties who could be considered the true enemy: Scaglietti and the Numbers, the Client, or corrupt parts of TSAB.
You mean it's not Lutecia?: No. Lutecia has made it evidently clear that she's like a pirate; only in it for what she can get out of it. As the Mafia say, it's nothing personal; just business.
Scaglietti & the Numbers: They're similar to A's Wolkenritter; just here because they've got a job to do. They're the ones MD6 will end up fighting the most, but they're not the true villains, just the "enforcers."
The Client: No two ways about it - the Client is definitely the ultimate villain in this series. The question remains, though, who is the Client?
Is it TSAB?: Quite possibly. Our airhead Adm. and his secretary seem awfully hateful of Hayate and MD6 - but past experience has taught me that 8/10 times, the asshole is simply an asshole and nothing more. But there could be other factions within TSAB at work.
In Short: The Client is the One True Enemy, but we've no idea as to who that is at this point.
Just my thoughts on the matter.:D
After reading all the posts in this thread so far, seems like the plot for StrikerS has really gotten thick...and when I mean thick, its really gotten to a point where we might lose a memorable character by the end of this show, unless it is averted some how...
Haven't seen the RAW yet, but hoping to see it soon, and Carim's prophecy is something that is out of the blue...we get a big fight, and after that, we get a prophecy thats sure to put everyone in paranoia mode again.(the first paranoia mode was about Nanoha's injuries and health issues throughout the first half of this season)
hmmm, the terms, "King","Tower",and "ship"...vague? YES, but enough to make a lot of assumptions and speculations until we get an answer...
BTW, it was mentioned that Hayate was acting a bit strange in this episode...hmmm...
Thisguy
2007-06-25, 06:51
As for Agito... IF Thisguy doesn't change his script, it would be that she's a "Genuine Ancient Velka Unison Device" but was being treated as if a replica.Hmm...
I rather thought that Zest meant something like a "recently-made Unison Device" with the word "Replica", not how researchers treated her.
But well, misinterpletion is what this whole thread is about anyway, which could go to both you and me :heh:
Followed by that, the Ship of Law that protects the countless sea will be broken apart.Carim interpleted it as "An incident occurs with influence of a LL (Relic?), which will result in destruction of TSAB Ground Center followed by destruction of TSAB Navy".
She doesn't have to die, the "wings" could be something that can't manifest into this world without a host.
We have a prophecy with a 100% possibility of being set in motion.
Of which, it would always fulfilled it's Requirement to set things in motion.
So unless one or all of them is/are the cilent, which we have no way of knowing just yet, Jail is the main man that you should look at since he's the only one trying to gather all the pieces of the puzzle.
so the "King" is really a figure in TSAB that will truly fall and perish...hmmm
and "a tower will fall"...
and "a ship will sink"...
here's a second try
the "King" can be anyone, so she/he could turn out to be heavily injured during a heavy battle, being wounded and not being able to move, his/her comrades protect him/her until the "ship" arrives to take back the wounded "king"...the ship comes to take the wounded "king" back to safety, meaning the "tower". But while airborne, the "ship" is shot down, taking the "king" with it also. "the "tower" could mean a base that is at the brink of collapsing, due to heavy damage from this heavy battle...when the "ship" is shot down, taking its "king" with it, the "tower" becomes a signal that the "King" has fallen and thus the "tower" falls also, as a symbol of a fallen "king"...
so in other words, Hayate. A lot have already speculated that Hayate could be this so called "king". And the ship I'm referring to is Vice's Storm Raider being shot down while taking Hayate to safe place to recover...this could be a scenario of the last epic battle of StrikerS, the big battle at TSAB with the crumbling RF6 tower at the brink of collapsing...
But there are a lot of candidates for this "king"
-Hayate (commander of RF6, being the most important person to protect in battle)
-Carim (supporter of RF6 and leads the Church and its duties)
-Vivio (mysterious little girl who seems to have high importance to this relic case)
-Chrono (he's an admiral and a supporter of RF6)
but think about it, in episode 12, we almost had this same prophecy come true.
Dieci's buster rifle, it was aimed at a "ship" and in the "ship" was Vivio...it was almost shot down if Nanoha didn't step in to defend against it...this could make Vivio the "king". Not to mention, TSAB's tower was unprotected, so it could have been destroyed.
This is just all speculation, but this is how I interpret this Prophecy, but is it true Carim can see the future?
If she can, then she would play a heavy role in this whole situation in the future...
EDIT: Damn didn't know there were more parts to this prophecy...errr>_<
a king shall fall and wings shall be revived from the holy land
the dead shall dance as the tower that lies within the middle earth is burned down
following that, ships that sail the infinite seas shall sink
With the really low quality in RAWs I don't blame the slow subbing.
Even the best I've seen had some shaking in them. With rest artifact-hell.
Actually there are some very high-quality raws out for all the eps(except 13, it'll take a few days). I have very satisfactory copies of the eps through 12. And it's easy to find the raws too, so it's not a matter of raw quality that's hindering them I think...
Holy Land...isn't that the place were Precia wanted to go in season 1??
It was called Al Hazard or something like that...forgot:heh: but this wing could be related to everything from the beginning: Jewel seeds, the Book of Darkness, and now, the relics.
Another possibility is that the prophecy is already in motion.
What if the King is Graham?
What if the 'revived wings' are Hayate's OWN wings. The Tome of Night Sky is a relic from Al Hazrad.
I doubt it is old man Graham since it looks like he did or can bite the dust at anytime from Hayate's photo, Besides there is almost nothing linking him to the word "king" like Hayate or Vivio.
Hmm, Hayate's wings..... this could be interesting maybe Hayate goes MIA in the next 5 ep or so and comes back with even leeter hex...... I don't remember they state Yami no Sho was from Al Hazard.
Although some decided to drop the word in theirs, there's one important prefix to Tower and the Ship; "法の", which I translated to "of Law".
So, both Ship and Tower has to be something relates to Law... most natural candidate will be TSAB itself, as Carim guessed.
Now, are there any other stuff that fit into any kind of law?
I mean, not only human-made law, law of nature or law of... whatever, anything, that connects to the Tower and the Ship...
Vita called Hayate "夜天の王" the direct translation will be King of Night Sky so Hayate is vaild entry into this competition.
wait deceased "King"...hmmm "wings"...Hayate has wings, but all the masters of the "yami no sho" are already deceased in some way and most of them were corrupted and evil, but could it be a possibility that the first master of the "yami no sho" was actually a king?
and he created a spell, an unusual one that creates "a wing" revived from the "holy land"...just maybe, this "king" was from this "holy land" and hid a special item that only the current master of the "yami no sho" can go to by using that special spell in the "yami no sho".
With this being said, Reinforce I can make an appearance as a spirit figure to guide Hayate into this situation...hhmmm
So far people have been guessing what each keyword could represent, but remember that those keywords would have to make out a scene that would fit what the prophecy said.
Thanks, Draco.
My 2 cents:
Line 1: Both versions sound very much the same. However, I would say 舊的結晶 is more accurate for 旧い結晶. 太古的結晶 doesn't sound quite right to me, and might mislead the reader to conclude that it's talking about LL, especially for those who have been following flsnow's subs.
Line 2: I would take the first version over the second. I'm very sure 死せる王 does not translate to 死之王.
Line 3: Once again both are very similar, though the first version lets us feel a sense of helplessness as the Tower burns.
Line 4: I think version 2 might be closer here.
Overview:
Original:
旧い結晶と無限の欲望が交わる地
死せる王の下、聖地より彼の翼が蘇る
死者達は踊り、中つ大地の法の塔は虚しく焼け落ち
それを先駆けに数多の海を守る法の船は砕け落ちる
My poor attempt in translating the Chinese translations Draco posted:
太古的結晶與無限的欲望交集之地
已死之王的翅膀從聖地復活
死者起舞,中間大地的法塔無奈地焚毀
隨後,守護眾多海洋的船也將崩潰
(The) Ancient Crystal and the Place where Infinite/Unlimited Desires meets;
The dead/dying King's Wings is resurrected/revived from the Holy Ground/Land;
The Dead dance, the Law Tower in the Middle/Central Land burns helplessly;
Following that, ships that protects the many oceans should perish as well.
舊的結晶與無限的欲望交匯之地
在死之王之下, 他的翼將在聖地甦醒
死者們正在起舞, 中央大地的法之塔將會燒燼
它的先驅, 守護無數大海的法之船也會四散.
The old Crystal (note: or the Crystal of Old) and the Place where Infinite/Unlimited Desires meet;
Under the King of Death, His wings shall be awakened at the Holy Ground/Land;
The Dead are dancing, the Tower of Law in the Middle Land shall be burnt to naught;
Their pioneers, the ships of Law that guards innumerable oceans shall also be scattered.
Hope this helps somewhat :heh:.
Concerning all this stuff about the Holy Land, I've suspected since the first series that Al Hazard would return to the story. And I've had many thoughts about it. For one thing, considering that we know some civilization grew too powerful and their excess magic created a dimensional distortion, and that the Lost Logia are relics from said civilization, it doesn't seem hard to find a connection to a mystical land lost in the infinite void where magic has reached a level that exceeds the miraculous. Not to mention that I've never been sure that Precia and Alicia were obliterated/lost in that void. Perhaps Al Hazard was down there and they wound up there...
Following the same line, the "revived wings" could mean either the Tome of the Night Sky or Alicia. I would imagine that could spell bad news for everyone, since Alicia would remember just how twisted Precia had become and maybe want some revenge...
On a different note, I'm sort of surprised even now by the amount of fanservice going on in here. Looking back, the original was rather gratuitous, but A's had maybe one pantyshot outside of transformation sequences. This series seems to exceed the original Nanoha in terms of pointless flashes of underage females.
On a final note, with Vivio being so clingy I wonder how sleeping arrangements will go. The bed's big enough but I'm not sure Fate will like having an adorable little loli clinging to Nanoha all night long...
Raising Heart has been under going numerous upgrades and inspection for the last ten years or more since Nanoha joined the TSAB. During that time they didn't identify it as a Lost Logia.
Now, RF6 have picked up several Relic signatures before, that means if Raising Heart IS one, they would have known it a long time ago.
A wild theory may be that Agito may be the original Sei-ou's Device (a sword, most likely, possibly one that rivals the Yaten no Sho in terms of ranking for power and danger), and Vivio was created to be her master.
I don't know if genetic engineering in Nanohaverse can accomplish this, but it may be possible that Vivio is an artificial A.B user, or at least a being that can use A.B Unison Devices.
An even wilder theory is that only the Sei-ou can summon/awaken/enter the Holy Land/Ground in question, or s/he is prophesied to be re-born in this place. As to what happens next is up to everyone's wildest imagination, but my own rampant imagination tells me that perhaps the Sei-ou was the Belkan people's King Arthur or Messiah before their relegation to being a mere vassal state of Mid-childa (?), and that his rebirth will lead a new glorious chapter in their history.
Such a theory would, of course, lend much weight to the Church conspiracy theory, with Carim as the head honcho in this case. And one can speculate that she has managed to convince Hayate that replacing the TSAB with a brand new Holy Belkan Empire (wth?!) is a very good idea, especially if she makes use of Hayate's resentment against the higher-ups treating her and her family as merely very convenient tools, and the existence of the corruption within the TSAB itself.
But then again, these are just my speculations and fantasies, albeit pretty wild ones imho :p.
There's got to be someone out there who intends to replace TSAB for destroying the Old Velka in the first place. The word "infidels" comes to mind. Remember what Terran terrorists always call Bush? "Tyrant of a Hegemony" In the Nanohaverse, the TSAB is the equivalent of the "Hegemony", and can not only be seen as meddling in other's affairs, maybe even downright "occupation".
In this light, I'm for a new villian, the Client, who fulfills this role. With Carim as the Prophet, Vivio might well be the "Star Child" of the God Empress.
Someone is floating too close to the pit that is OC :heh:......
I know. The idea of a Holy Belkan Empire has been floating in my head ever since Hayate-sama Hręsvelgr-ed her way back to the battlefield (or rather, ever since I brainstormed for a nice Civ name while playing Civ IV :p).
As well as an ancient Trinity comprising of the Saint Emperor, The Queen/King of the Night Sky and one other that still awaits the Divine Sledge-Hammer of Inspiration :D.
Though I must say, it might be a neat thing if the above does come true :p.
Time to brain-storm on my fanfic, kekeke.... ;)
