Heh, any chance of starting a flame/garbage forum?
There are a LOT of useless threads around the forums.. instead of deleting them, why not just send them to a forum of junk/flame threads?

You want a forum where people go and vent? Someone had once suggested such a thing in the past, and it was shot down. There's really not much of a point to this, IMHO, and contrary to my opinion in the past. :) The "General Chat" one is fine for non-anime/manga topics, and the mods can close any threads that break 1+ rules.

I don't like the idea. There are lots of stupid forums where people are allowed to post all the garbage they want. I hope that things can be better than that here. If people want to post that sort of thing, I feel that we can simply alienate them. :p Those aren't the sorts of posts that I feel we need to encourage in any form so let them go elsewhere if they just have to post it.

This is a very bad idea I think. If anything, it just encourages people to flame and insult. It means that it can become 'acceptable' to flame anyone in any thread and it's an easy way to get valid discussion threads moved out of a forums into a junk forum.

I believe that any flame post should be fully deleted, what way it becomes a real waste of time to even type out a flame post because you will know it will cease to exist. And here, people will be banned for excessive flaming.
