Yes...there's a manga about this...

I don't know how much other members of this forum know about the future spoilers of FullMetal Alchemist, but in my opinion I say it's too early to answer your questions. There's only opinions from me at least.

So far I think the Scar guy will be a good guy, and that Ed will eventually quit becomign a state alchemist.

The problem is the anime is screwing up so many elements of the manga. (And the manga isnt finished). You cant really give spoilers becase you have no idea how badly bones is going to change it. Iron blood was supposed to die back when Nina was dead.... etc

Unless the translation from AF-F was wrong it said something like
