Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu (http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=3651) ~ Mainly comedy... w/ a minor (yes it's minor as of now) romance... basically either liked it or hate it.. but it's a good anime IMO...

Last Exile (http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=581) ~ Action/Sci-fi/adventure... It's a series w/ a very nice storyline IMO. it's one of Gonzo's finest and my personal fave out of their works... has a nice char. dev't, well animated series and good musics and BGMs...

Code Geass (http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4521) ~ for some mecha anime... this one is an excellent series... the story and animation are both done well and also the main protagonist is wicked... :heh:

Kare Kano (http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=199) ~ romance/comedy... a bit old but still a good series... it's so unique in their way of animation (some paper scrap :heh: ), mainly the character dev't of the series is the most impressive in this one...

Zero no Tsukaima (http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4146) ---> ZNT 2nd season (http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4915) ~ romance/comedy/magic(fantasy)... funny series, it's kinda harry potter like bec. of the settings... instead the main protagonist is a girl and also not a genius when it comes to magic... nice series, comedy/romance/magical at it's finest...

Lol will check some of the animes out you guys listed... Last Exile and Kanon sound the most appealing. Thanks for the help guys!!! Lol Jedinat I know I've seen tons of crap but it makes me appreciate the good stuff more! ^_^

Be absolutely sure you get the 24 episode Kanon 2006, NOT the crappy Toei 13 episode 2002 version. It's horrible, seriously. Don't put yourself through that torture ;) 2006 is made by KyoAni and is orders of magnitude better than the 2002 one.

seconded Kanon 2k6 for drama/romance

Air - Drama/Romance, a good anime and also similar to Kanon.
Chrono Crusade - Action/Romance/Fantasy w/ some comedy and some drama, this one is also a nice one :nod:

Fumoffu first, it's completely comedy based with no seriousness at all and probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen, and then go for Second Raid, which is very serious with some humour, and very awesome indeed.
