It really depends on how open they leave StrikerS. With the amount of points left uncovered so far if the production is trying to cover everything while possible it will feel rushed. I can see they goes over to all the main plot points and cover the rest with a OVA maybe. Judging from the Nanoha series prior with only have 8 ep of action left, since ep 26 will be a wrap up ep by the trend this series have set so far
Or if they want to, a special.
Actually,i wonder if the forwards ever stood a chance againist the numbers?

It'll be really sad if it is because Nanoha had a lot of potential. I don't think they even needed to have a time skip them into adulthood. They had like one or two more season focusing on their teenage years but I think what they want is quick rap up to this story.:rolleyes: At any rate I think we could have at lest one more season before it all comes to an end...but thats not up to me is it...
And don't under estimate the forwards they are starting to show growth and the potential Nanoha and Fate always knew they had.

Sure it makes them good soldiers, but at the same times it's like they always need to have someone to fall back on to in case things goes south, hence people still think that they are incapable of handling themselves.

Well whether people like it or that. They are main characters and have been since the start of StrikerS. Obviously the writers wanted to find a way to keep the series fresh so they added in some more main characters that weren't every powerful and had to earn their strength. Could you picture how boring the series would be if it was nothing but Nanoha, Fate, and Hayete just owning enemies left and right. That being said it wasn't even up to the viewers to decided if the show would get new main characters or not. :rolleyes:

Yeah let's face it they don't really poll the viewers a whole lot about what they are going to do with a series. I mean come they married Chrono and Amy, how much viewer support could that have possibly had? (Yeah I know, just getting in my little bit since it'd been a while since it was brought up).
Agree the forwards are still being dependent on the Aces and of course their superiors are protective of them since they don't want them getting in over their heads. A time coming up may have the forwards and Superiors split up in some major event. So they'll have to rely on themselves and team work to get through things. In order to get that respect they have to step up on their own, since they can't always get support.

Actually, I'd say it is one of the better tactical decisions ever made in the whole series. Can you watch Ep11 and the top of Ep12 and seriously come to the conclusion that the 3 (since Caro is kinda out of it) had better than 50-50 odds against Lutecia and Garyu. Waiting for reinforcement and with an eye to the objective is the correct move.
The idea they'd never really be independent is pretty much sealed since the show decided to make them B-rank and non/demi flight-capable. They can't be independent in the context of threats that would challenge our aces without making complete nonsense of the whole rank system (and thus the internal consistency of the universe).
In fact, their good performance against 5, 9 and 11 already creates a problem which is only demi-rationalizable. It just seems very funny Scarlietti won't create them with more or less even powers, but all signs show 3 and 7 for instance are much more powerful than the trio. The good performance of Erio against Garyu, same thing, even counting for possible improvement. It is already in the margins of the dissonance zone, IMO.
Personally I think this is a mistake. Since this is supposedly an ubercrack division anyway, they should really have made them A-AA so that they can be flexible in writing them as support or real flag bearers. They can also dispense with those ridiculous limiters that way (plotwise).

Since the show clearly indicated a major extra boost in all-around capabilities after just the device upgrade (( even when the device was limited )), and being trained daily by AAA~S level trainers and such... I'm surprised they never indicated exactly what level they're REALLY at currently.

Not really true for Subaru and Teana, who had experience in the local units before they were transferred to RF6.

As I understand it, a Mage's capabilities are measured before and not after the coefficient of the device.

Precisely, at most you can seriously say is that they advanced one rank in combat coefficient after all this time. Every ace is at least 3 ranks above them! They are literally in totally separate worlds in enemies.
If they had started them off at AA or so, then by now they can be AAA and would be of some real use, or they can just relegate them to support by saying they didn't improve as fast.

Remember, I didn't say it was wrong, but that it doesn't really show much of their trainings.
And, I do believe that they could take them on, not because of I'm bias.
An underground Lutecia doesn't post much of a threat, her main attacks seems to be the 'Cero' type blast that she uses, but it's rather slow and can't catch people off guard. Her movements are slow as well.
That leaves just Agito and Garyuu, the latter of which Ginga has already been shown to be of equal match to it. The remaining Forward can deal with Agito, who really isn't as leet as she claim to be, Subaru-Teana tag-team "hit 'em while she's distracted" would work. And with Garyuu busy, Lutecia is easy bait.

But if they have been improve as much as Nanoha said they were, they at least should have shown it. Flight would be nice especially in Erio's case where he needs to move around alot but I don't he would get it. (Well, not by the conventional way)
Hell, or at least give us an official update on their rank.

She has more than just Garyuu. She just has a preference of her bi-pedal Masked Guyver.
Besides, from what the SS implies, she has her very own Super Summon, White Sky King or Gakutenou, either one.

Just got to watch episodes 16 and 17 back to back. ...wow. Just... wow. So many revelations in just these two episodes.
Some points on this episode:
- Never would have guessed Subaru had that kind of power in her.
And I initially figured that when they mentioned Type-0 to the group they were talking about Erio. I should have known better, and I was corrected almost right after that. If Subaru can get that strength under control by the time to rematch comes, the numbers really won't be as intimidating as they have been. I'm still hoping that she will at least use Ginga's device by the time this is over. It would look cool and give an even greater power boost. Shiny.
- I thought that Rein would only be able to perform a Unison with Hayate. Obviously I was wrong, and that opens up so many interesting possibilities.
- Zest is more badass than I initially suspected when he's on his own.
- Do not make Caro mad. She has a big dragon. Biiiiig dragon.
Once the entire cast has their limiters removed, I don't think the threat will be as severe, but by then, given what was said to Fate, the Numbers will probably also have an upgrade. I can't wait for the clash. ^^
I'm also curious as to how General Gaiz will react to this, though it's pretty much certain that he'll continue to add to the pressure that's already on Section 6. Bah.

I'm sure Nove and Subaru can get along well...once they settle their differences, Sein and Subaru can join Disaster Management Units (( Sein can rescue people easily like a lifeguard or something )), Cinque would be most welcome in construction and demolition work and stuff. Wendi, Alto and Vice can probably be the transportation trio, them carrying people, while Wendi carries...people in boxes.
You know what, forget Shishio, I want Jail to be pardoned ala Fate if even possible. Uno would most likely die if Jail dies, since they're...you know, obviously the closest in terms of Number-Dr relationship. >_<

Otto's profile clearly states that since Otto/Deed are from the same bases alongside their personality similarity, despite their's ~...silent, stoic, cold...~ nature, their "hearts" (( closest word I can link to )) understands each other.
I THINK. At the very least, I'm confident with the last part of them 'understanding' each other.

Very well done episode...These past 2 episodes have a very "Empire strikes back" feel of being the section where the heroes are down, but not quite out which are always my favorite. ;)
Hopefully our three aces ill take the kid gloves off (Limiters) and show us some counterattack action since I was really sad to see nanoha get left out of the action this time as always it seems. Save the best for last I guess. :heh:

That would be fun to watch.I'm stilll wondering about her powers, you don't really get much info just from viewing the anime. You get some hints of the past of hers, but nothing where you can actually conclude anything.

Yeah remember when we thought Caro's past was going to be important and she'd play a major role. Ended up being a single episode thing with some flashbacks and soon with Vivio she got tossed back with the rest. Oh well at least she can summon a dragon that just owns all that is in her way.
Well too bad for Uno but don't see much hope for Jail getting anything but death here. Since he's a guy and not a cute loli he's pretty much out of luck in getting pardons :).

Even if normal human terrorists comes, the Aces will still get pwned even though they can use magic w/o setting up but still it's a small amount that won't last through superior fire power lol
Because only the Captains were permitted in. They felt it was neccessary to have a force in the building, so they accepted the risk and went in.

Wow. This ep...Even though i had to rely on fansubs for some of the stuff. I really like the voice acting in this ep, usually i dont pay much attention to it but you could really get into the episode with the quality voice acting shown in this ep
The consistent quality performance of the voice actors in MSLN has always been a strong point in the series, at least for me. :)

Really? Isn't that a StrikerS only phenomena? Chrono didn't look too bad in A's and the good old original - in fact, he actually was somewhat military minded. Yunno's role was supportive, but it sure beats the Tuxedo Mask stereotype and he's actually shown to be quite powerful for his supposed A rank.
