Canvas ~Motif of Sepia~ does not have a sad ending if that's what you mean.

If you're talking about Canvas 2 ~Niji-iro no Sketch~, then of course, the ending will be sad if the character you favor doesn't get chosen now, correct? Like most romance anime, this one has a love triangle, and the main character will end up picking one of the two.
