Since the School Days forum is limited (only Mods and Admin can create new threads), this thread serves as a way to request a new thread to be created.
Please post here if you wish to request a new School Days thread. Please bear in mind that we will only accept reasonable requests, we wish to maintain the focus within the forum and cut down on the noise (so no pointless threads cluttering up the place).
Don't forget that you may still post in existing threads as usual, the only restriction is that you may not create new threads within this particular forum.

How about Setsuna and Otome as well, they play a big part of the situation too?
As of later - perhaps. Right now i don't think they have enough exposure and screentime to justify their individual threads.

Setsuna i dont think there much to go on at this point. But after the events surrounding Otome in episode 6 i think a thread for her might be justified

I believe this kind of poll is not really welcome here. (in fact, polls in general aren't great)
Most likely, this kind of thing is based more on opinions, rather than facts, that's why Character discussions are there, but absolutely no poll.
Why is that? because basically, the poll doesn't represent anything set in stone, and will merely show "how many people prefer X thing, with specific reasons". Thus, it brings unecessary discussion (and the usual rants), and even silly war between people who don't agree.
This is why you don't see many poll in other sub-forum as well, while you could expect many poll in bleach/naruto about "who is the coolest/strongest/etc"
Even shuffle forum, which was rather extremely busy with "fan clubs wars" doesn't have a poll of that type, which prevents obnoxious things.
oh well, again this is how i could see the peculiar "idea"' of poll for this kind of matter here. i guess the moderators will give a much more detailed reasons why it isn't really a good idea.
There is not going to be a "Makoto should end up with X" poll, pretty much for the reasons Klashikari stated above. Given the nature of School Days that would be like laying down a mine field.
As for a regular "favorite character poll" - it will be created once the series ends. I see no merits in creating one now, and then another one mere 6 episodes later.

i would like to see a poll for sekai or kotonoha following the terms from kimi nozomu's mitsuki or haruka (where you have to state reasons bla bla whether you are a boy or a girl bla bla)
ofc at the end of the series sounds respectable cause by that time we would see changes in the character that may swing current views :3

Okey, I just saw a tread in the Claymore, where you sould vote for your favorit character.
And it would still be cool to know how many who likes koto, and how many who likes Sekai, hard to count inside the threads.

Setsuna i dont think there much to go on at this point. But after the events surrounding Otome in episode 6 i think a thread for her might be justified
well setsuna is the main girl for summer days the game, so ppl might get ideas from there. personally i think setsuna is the coolest character right now with the silent 'V', the oversized costume, and the makoto interferring.
I think at this point Otome, Setsuna and (maybe) Taisuke are important characters, aren't they?

Or to compromise, how about a thread for "Other Characters," "Minor Characters," or "General Character Discussions"? I too feel like the individual non-main characters are not enough for a thread, but there has to be some place to discuss them besides the generic discussion thread.
The thing is - minus Setsuna perhaps, i don't see Otome and Taisuke generating much discussion beyond "Omg, this b*tch must jump of a building" and "Taisuke must burn in hell!! (and the 'rape' discussion that has already been beaten to death)". Even the main character discussion threads are not receiving that many posts, so i can't see the side characters generating more discussion than the current threads can handle. Feel free to try and convince me otherwise though :)

While this has some potential, i don't see the need for a whole thread for it. It is bound to generate a lot of one liner responses (which even your post basically is :)) and little to none discussion, which is something we do not encourage. Feel free to use the existing game thread for such a discussion though :)

Skyfall, after episode 10 you couldn't reject the fact that the minor characters dominated that episode. I really can't explain more without making the discussion on this thread itself, so I'll just hope that you share the same views as I do.
Can i make a new thread about "who will die?" in the last episode (episode 12) as a poll?

" Who is your favorite Character" and why. Also it would be nice if it was a poll.
I know we have a character discussion Thread but we dont have any poll for it.
We have been close to the end for a good while now .. only it refuses to come :heh: I intend to make a character poll once the final episode arrives. (Or i get a confirmation we are not going to see it anytime soon).

P.S. I was curious as why you voted the episode 12, a rating of 3. Just curious thats all :rolleyes:. I personally want to vote it 1 and at the same tempted to vote 10 :heh:.
The character poll will be up when i get the character icons done ... which will, probably, be around tomorrow evening/night. Why i voted what i did is not the discussion for this thread, so i will just say one thing - blown out of proportion.

If this was requested at the start of the series 6 months ago then it may well have been created. I've think we have rather missed the boat asking for it now considering the anime finished over 3 months ago. Maybe Skyfall will be more considerate of the idea.
I will agree with xris here - the boat for such a thread has already sailed most likely, and i get a feeling the thread would have almost minuscule activity. Besides, i don't really think there are many (any?) quotes in School Days that would qualify as "good/funny" :)

Meh, I guess so, I've only just finished watching it though, but I get the general idea why it would fail.
Just wondering has the boat for a School Days ONA thread sailed away as well? I've seen the 1st episode on here by Paikia-Fansubs and would like to know more about the ONA if possible.
