Nice one, Chibamonster. Having some kind of potential Raki overload here. But this one in particular caught my eye:

Because I've noticed that a lot of fanfic authors seem to portray the "new" Raki as being a killer with the longbow.
But I doubt it. Now Raki doesn't even come close. And must keep in mind the character being compared to is a great from classical anime.

The Jackson representitive in the claymore world would be Helen in my list :p totally a jackson vibe, with the moves and expressions taught by me, she'll be a jackson freak soon enough >:D

Has anyone ever thought that he might be dead after all this time? That might the biggest plot twist so far, since we're all thinking he's gonna be super-badass.
I guess there's four likely possibilities (in order of what I'd like best to least):
1. Badass
2. Unaware of what/who Priscilla/Isley are, still with them
3. Dead
4. Held in chains for seven years after learning the truth about Priscilla/Isley, a shallow husk of even his former self, and dies a few minutes after being rescued by Clare.
That last one gives me the creeps.

There's always (6). An astute powerful warrior hiding somewhere waiting for the right time to show himself. Think Irene. Probably not feasible though:heh:
But actually (3) sounds good. Not because I hate Raki, but because it's a plot twist consistent with Yagi's style. But he goes down that way, granted there'll be a lot of filler trying to explain why he kicked the bucket & how.
I think he'll be wannabe imba, and save Clare, but unfortunally to do this he has to jump between her and Isley. So he dyes, Prissy is pissed off and goes to her awakened form, Clare is pissed too and awakens, the rest of the 7 ghosts are so angry and sad that they awaken too, the org comes with Alicia and Beth, beth faints because having eaten not enough so Alicia awakens.
The awakened 7, Isley, Prissy, Alicia go all rampage and the org leaders do suicide.
So after the time of male warriors came the time of females, and than the time of ABs :uhoh:
That would be really cool to see happen.

On a more serious note -
I do not think Raki would be dead these past 7 years. He has the potential to be the catalyst that helps Clare transform into something more powerful physically, and/or help transform Clare emotionally or mentally as a person. No one else has that type of relationship with Clare (except for Teresa).
I can see one of Deneve, Helen, or Miria dying before Raki. Raki might end up dying later, but not until he has performed his purpose in the story.

I would imagine a kind of similar scenario: Isley has his own agenda, Raki has his (whether to win a harem or not, is the question :heh:) & Priscilla is just - acting like a child. I would think it'll make an insane subplot if Priscilla & Raki turn on Isley. It would be more crazy if Raki finally wised up & maybe instigated her.
I can imagine a kind of subplot like this taking up what 10 manga chapters :(
But a domineering Priscilla is a damn funny idea-
Priscilla: Gimme something to eat.
Raki: (grovels at her feet) Yes! Yes! I will cook the best southern...
Priscilla: Shut up & get Isley. I want some GUTS!

This might make some of you laugh but I don't see Raki dying but I do see most of the G7 dying, including Priscilla, Alicia, Beth and yes... Clare too.
But I do not see Isley dying cuz he has a knack of surviving in any conflict. He's a 1st generation claymore for hyne sake and he's still kicking. lol
Raki will live on as a human and he'll probably tell stories of claymores, awaken being and the person he admired the most (Clare) to his kids, grand kids and so on. Well, that's what I think :p
I think would very cool if Clare finally meet again Raki - now a cool and badass lad - and along the Fab-7 they defeat Easley and Priscilla.
And then they bring justice to the Organization, and them they help Miria to become the new supreme leader of the renewed Org. After all that, Raki and Clare retire themselves to live a pacific live together. Some years later, Clare will give birth to a truly half-human/half-claymore girl with silver eyes, and decide to name her Theresa!
Yeah, i'm a sucker for happy endings!! :D

everyone is thinking that Raki must become a claymore to be of use to Clare...I'm hoping that there is a way for him to be useful, without becoming a claymore. That's probably unrealistic, but maybe they figure out the MiB secret to longevity, and it has nothing to do with youma, and Raki uses that to become powerful :) or something of that sort

I'm not sure about Raki living to old age and telling his grandchildren stories about a girl named Clare, but I do see most of the G7 dying by the time the series is over and probably Clare as well.
Clare will not die until the end, and judging by the relationship between Raki and Clare, I would think that he wouldn't die until it was near the end as well (if he even dies at all) or some volumes just before it.
That leaves only the G7 out of the major characters on the protagonist's side. And while Yagi isn't as ruthless with his characters as some other mangaka are, death is an overwhelming theme in the story. I could see half of them falling one by one throughout the story.
Of course, the most likely survivor out of the whole story is Yuma.

If I had to choose two characters out of the G7 that will most likely die in the story (besides Clare), it would be Miria and Deneve too.
If there really is a strong connection between Clare and Clarice, one of them will probably die near the end.
I think Clarice will live on and tell storys about the ghosts and the org to future generations of people, she will live in peace and never age and keep moving on from town to town so she never gets suspected about being a claymore. She just seems like that type of character to me.

Hmm... now that I think about it, yes, Clare and Raki will probably make it through and also Tabitha, Yuma and Cynthia. But the others won't be so lucky, Miria, Helen, and Deneve.
The reason why Tabitha, Yuma and Cynthia are going to survive is because they're mainly there as backups while the others are frontline fighters. Clare will survive it because she's... well, the main character of claymore. lol o.o
Tabatha, Yuma and Cynthia are redshirts, they will die first, thought not before a badass display of power and killing an abyssal or two.
You know I really don't think anyone will die. If anything I think the ghosts will make it through with Galatea if she joins them, and if Irene and Rafaela are still alive they will probably join them and help get revenge and make it through as well. Then Clare will somehow end up with Raki and live happily ever after. Mabye Miata will die protecting Clarice and she'll have a big power up and help the ghosts, and thats what I think will happen.
My feeling is that while a lot of characters have died so far, those closer to Clare seem to die more often. So far after the 7 year timeskip, there have been no deaths so far, so yeah - I think the death theme might come back to haunt the 7 ghosts. Also, I think the older characters might probably die off first - considering they've served their use & may not have anything more to contribute to the story.
And as for Raki - it might be a given he's still alive. But when he returns to the story proper, I think the deaths will start again.

And we have seen how they are able to escape even from Riful ...
So, except if they try to kill one of these opponents, they look pretty safe.
I do not think the 7 fabs will immediatly launch stupide attack on Priscilla and Isley, moreover, if Raki is still with them, thinks might turn very weird ...
So, I guess no ones will die soon, but they will carry on their plans (I wonder what they are) and probably gather more allies (like Galatea, maybe Raphaella and much later, Miata/Claris).
Mabye there will be another time skip so the 7 ghosts can get stronger.

I think training can make claymores stronger but I do not think they are going to some day all be number 1 material. It seems that they are stuck where they are to some degree. For instance, Irene would never be able to defeat Teresa and it was not because of training; it was because Teresa had more youki than everyone else. Clare and Miria are still seen as the strongest ghosts, and they were strong back before Clare even got Irene's arm. Claymores might get much stronger over time but none have lived long enough to prove that theory. Raphaela was already had equal power to a number 1 before she left the organization and we have never seen her fight. The ghosts may be trained but there are still claymores and AO's out there that dwarf them in power and it is not because they trained. Many people are going to die. Even if the ghosts were stronger, Teresa was the strongest claymore we have seen and she was killed. In claymore being strong does not mean a character will live. Being weak does not mean they will die.

I like your observation about Raphaela, but you hit quite a crucial point here. A lot of the actual abilities & strengths of many of these minor characters hasn't been seen yet. I, for one, would like to see Riful or Alicia & Beth fight, just to see how powerful they are. And after the 7 year time skip, who knows who's gotten stronger? I just think that, after the timeskip & the lull in deaths, it's less obvious to predict/ foreshadow who will be dead next.

By the end of the story, we will probably see much more about the current generation of Claymores, including Alicia, Beth, Audrey, Miata, Rachel, Lune, and Clarice. Taking out those 7, that leaves 40 potential Claymore characters out there that we have no clue about. (Gotta catch em all Raki, gotta catch em all)

Anyways, has there been any news of Raki's developement and presentation (officially)? For 7 long years, Raki would be an adult.. Learning swordsmanship and all that might have buffed his character. (Unless he stays with Isly and Pric too much and he started to becomet their slave cook) Raki.. what a bum. == You better devour and fuse yourself with some Yoma flesh in those 7 years!

lol, riding a bick with sqaure wheel is not fun, you first have to lift your body weight until the wheel gets to ono of the edges of the square, after you do that the bick falls rappidly and stops. For all your efort you have only moved the lenght of one side of the square.

Funny, seems like after half-a-year's worth of post has weeded out/converted all the raki-haters, so much so that conversation has detered to concerns about Raki's domestic and sexual life .... one thing weird about this is (since you're all on this anyway:D): awakening is described to be akin to sexual ecstasy, which is why the males were failues since they kept trying it ... how do females have an advantage or did I miss something in the manga (ie is it simply will power or are they just frigid:confused:) ... othewise you wouldn't have claymores (esp those that can repeatedly half-awaken) and AOs squabbling over Raki's .... supposed new found manhood - an awakening a day keeps the need for raki at bay:naughty:
But seriously though, love or hate Raki he's one of the main characters and will therefore show up again in a major way. Obviously Raki's trying to get stronger, but you would think that to have any effect at all in future encounters he'd be at claymore+ level (just imo, those tears have gotta dry up sometime), but he's male so does that make him a definite future AB (or some other unrevealed-as-of-yet variation since he hangs around Ishley and Prisc)

I don't think any of this stuff with Raki being old is going to happen, I just think it would be real funny. I think Raki will show up with Priscilla and Isley but leave them when he see's Clare and the others, but only to be taken away by Helen LOL. Then Clare and Helen would fight over him and Raki would be like "cool" and when he's not paying attention some of the other ghosts would take him away.... I really doubt that Raki could live with Priscilla and and Isly without realizing their true nature and motive. (human eating and area conquering Awakening Beings.) And I'm not sure Priscilla had any more infatuation for Raki's southern scent as she is already at the south. I think it is a possible scenerio that Raki learns enough swordsmanship to excel on his own.. He has been pretty enhanced during the practice that is shown to us. During the time Isley fought Lucila looks like a few months after the Battle of the North. So weird things has been already going on around Raki at such short time. So.. I bet he left already very early and had the last 6-5 years to himself as a traveler or something... Unless he decides to become someone's chief.. ==

I think Raki is still with Priscilla because it is the worst thing that could happen for Clare. Why would Yagi defuse a time bomb like that without taking dramatic advantage of it in the story? It would be like Priscilla suddenly being dead without us seeing it. All of the tension is built up for a conflict or problem in the future, and if the problem just solves itself it is not necessary for the story. Well, unless it is an experimental or slice of life type story, but then the focus is very different from something like Claymore.
@Methuselah- Raki might have left Priscilla and become a traveler searching for Clare mabye, but I don't think he is with another claymore that would ruin the story.
@chibamonster- I agree with you on how Raki is probably still with Priscilla and Isley, it would make the story dramatic if he ran into Clare and the ghosts when he is with those two.
After all Isley might have told Raki that Clare has probably died by now. What would Raki do if he ran into Clare and she isn't dead. That would be very interesting.

There is no way in heaven, Yagi would have Raki leave Priscilla way too early. Have him travel own his own after staying with them for a few years? Well, if you want to put it that way... If Miata's and Clarice's journey is any indicator to the harsh conditions of traveling alone then the world of Claymore would be a complete impossibility.
Travelers would be eaten... tradesmen, farmers, etc. Basically anybody that needs to travel or live outside of a city would die. without trade or farms life in cities or even villages is impossible.

i have a feeling clare will clamp down on raki when they reunite and will still treat him as if he were lil boy like before and tell him to run whenever danger approach.
the girl that he's got with him will probably make them separate from one another due to clare asking all of the question of 'who is she', 'where she come from', 'who does she belong too' and surely enough, clare will find out the kid is actually a awakened being. or is it really priscilla that he's with?
that's when raki will explain he's been with isley and priscilla all this time and has been training under isley. i can imagine clare becoming furious with him and in return, raki will get anger telling he was doing this all for her.
there will be disagreements on who's right and wrong and clare will tell raki that girl he's got with him will have go after sensing the girl is quite dangerous and that's when raki will refuse while still witholding the information on the girl which I somewhat believe is actually priscilla.
i think yagi's real aim is to make clare, raki and priscilla meet together all at once and when clare finds out who she is, clare will go berserk and raki is going to be in her way and protecting priscilla. that's some good stuff!! :p

The problem with that is beserk Clare is way above awakened #2 lvl some 7 years ago, Raki wouldn't be able to do much, even if he is a claymore. The only thing that could probably stop her would be an AO, like Riful, Isley or Alicia and that would be dubious.
I think the little girl is really Raki's kid. That would throw a real curve ball at Clare. I can see an argument happening right now.

it doesn't matter what raki can or can't do against clare but what does matter is he's willing to fight clare just so he could protect the girl from clare. :)
No way he'd do that, he loves Clare!!! 7 years have passed and he is still looking for her. If he does something she doesnt like, she'll just bonk him on the head like before. :)
But I'm glad he grew up so well, I always thought he had it in him. He was so brave in the fight with ophelia and with that AB as well.

I am fine with Raki being a power house :D. If motivation is an issue he is at least as motivated as Clare. Not to mention that his training instructor is one of the strongest characters in the entire world. His goal was to be powerful enough to protect Clare. Isley indicated that Raki might become truly strong. That is saying a lot when you can single handedly take out an entire army of inhuman monsters if you so choose.
I love it when the "damsel in distress" decides to take matters into their own hands and train themselves to get stronger. Think Sarah Conner in Terminator 2 and the difference from herself in the first Terminator. Clare went to people who could make her strong to get her goal of avenging Teresa (and arguably Clare is far to weak to actually do it so she has a way to go yet). Raki had someone who could make him strong as well. Apparently it worked.
Personally what I would like even more than Raki being insanely strong is Raki being insanely smart for tactics and super well prepared. Sort of like Shikamaru in Naruto who wins by outsmarting his opponents as opposed to Naruto who goes 9 tails and infinite kagebunshin. Or like when Batman fights Superman and wins (which is awesome). Raki going into a fight far more prepared than a more powerful enemy and then winning would be tons of fun for me. Sort of like how in the first few chapters Clare had to use tricks and feints to get the youma. Later she started sensing their youki and no longer needed to do it, but we have seen people win by tactics in Claymore. Like how Clare saved Raki's life by throwing her sword, getting wounded, and then dragging the youma with her down to her sword.
Really I just love vampire hunters which seem fairly simmilar to Claymores but more often than not the hunters end up being stronger than the monsters they hunt (Vampire hunter D or Blade) which defeats the purpose of outsmarting an enemy in the first place. I am thinking Miyamoto Musashi type tactics where one man who knows the way of tactics can defeat 10 warriors who do not. Raki's armor indicates that he is prepared for leveling the difference in power in a major way. Not to mention he might have more tactics involving the little girl than just having her point... Although it is probably just wishful thinking on my part.

I sure hope characters are the focus of the story! They are the reason I like claymore. If it were not for the relationships the characters have with each other I do not think I would ever have gotten into this story. I love watching the characters develop, struggle through challenges, make sacrifices, deal with consequences, reacting to horrible situations, and trying to hold onto that which is important to them. Without those character relationships Claymore would be flat for me like many other manga (that I still read though...).
Even in the last few chapters we have seen developing relationships with Miata and Clarice, more fun with Helen and Deneve's interaction, Clarice crying hearing Miria's story, Galatea getting gung ho to do something, and now we have Raki with a little girl. I think the story is going to keep having the focus on the characters and their personal issues IN a now larger world. At least I sure hope so. I also think Raki will have a major impact on the story. We have seen him more than just about any character in the series but Clare herself. He was in the first chapter. He is the first reason Clare is alive and not an awakened being.

Anyway, can't wait for the pieces to fit together. From the first time I hop onto the Claymore bandwagon (I think it was around the month when the last chapter of Pieta came out), I realise that the world view was supremely bleak, and my conspiracy theory mind went into overdrive. I sure was glad that I was proven right.
And yes, Raki survives, unlike Flora (Man, I think she has the least screen time of all the named characters).

Holy mother of god, Raki is complete bad ass. I think its pretty obvious that Raki is incredibly strong. And that armor he's wearing, its strong enough to repel a Yoma's finger attack, which is something else, usually it pierces through armor like paper. I can't wait for the next chapter.
Edit: I just have a theory, Raki's armor could be made of the same material as the Claymore's weapons.
About Raki: Yawn. Expected ever since we had the time-skip. The only modest surprise is that he is not with Isley any more. He's become good enough to slice through cannon fodder Yomas, but that's about as relevant as (to take an easy comparison) a RPG character becoming able to kill the monsters in the newbie zone when the party is about to battle the big boss of the game.
Envisioning much "damsel in distress" moment for Raki in the future when he meets the real players. Some potential for him to focus on politics and build a nation without Claymores, along with Galk, Sid and the Rabona people, but I can't see him winning alone against ABs repeatedly, not without getting wounded at least a bit (and then, he doesn't have Claymores godlike survivability and regen so he's out).
Anyway, I already said that before :p

Flar, i think you underestimate Raki to much, the one thing to remember in anime is that theres always an exceedingly powerful opponent the weaker of the two leads beats. Maybe i've been reading/watching/playing to many Type Moon works but just the same its always the case.
Raki can fight so his not the "damsel in distress" in this story for sure, so that means he is destined to have a great fight with someone and despite all odds beat them.

exactly it would mean his goals and ideals would be useless, which is not what Yagi was aiming at. He will achieve what he wants for sure. I think those still blabbering on about the so called "cry baby" need to realize that is not what he is, at least not any more. His character in the latest chapter certainly shows confidence and bravery, not fear and cowardice.

He was a "cry baby" because he felt powerless to do anything. To be the one always being saved, and not the one saving... that feeling of helplessness was what he hated most about himself. I doubt that he is still the same as he was 7 years ago, otherwise making him disappear for this long would be completely pointless.

while by definition it may seem like being a cry baby, he rarely cried and was brave enough to even go up against Ophelia just to help Clare and was willing to sacrifice his life to save Clare several times even to the point willing to die with Clare when she nearly awakened in Rabona.
A real cry baby would of run away for fear of his own life, he has been brave from the start which alot of people don't take into account and soley base how he was in the anime which removed alot of things he did and made him alot worse

you presume, not confirmed. We still know zilch about why he is that good, keep in mind he was able to move so fast the villagers didn't even realize he'd moved from his spot (they were still staring at where he was standing quiet a distance away) to he had sliced the arm off the yoma

lol we'll i admit im presuming, but Claymore has been realistic with humans making them out to be unable to defend themselves against regular yoma.
I mean look at the way in Rabona arc near the beginning Cid/Galk couldn't even together handle one yoma (or Clare who was considered fairly weak at the time) and yet they have lived their life training alot longer than Raki has/had(not sure if its ongoing yet) been training under Isley. Exactly, Cid and Galk are full grown men who have been in military service for who knows how long. And they are still incapable of handling a regular Yoma.
Raki is capable of wielding a great sword with one arm, which is physically impossible for a normal human being to do. He has been shown to have great reflexes and speed, comparable to a Claymore. His change is insanely drastic, I somehow believe that Raki was "changed" as well, that he is no longer "human", but we won't find out for awhile.
But your reasoning for him being "weak", is based on the fact that seven years ago he was a human kid is.... stupid? Raki is a major character to the story, his resolve was a major point in the story line and finally we are about to see the results. Instead of hating, just take into account to whats going on and being said, and wait to see if you are right or wrong.
I mean look at the way in Rabona arc near the beginning Cid/Galk couldn't even together handle one yoma (or Clare who was considered fairly weak at the time) And in the recent chapters, they almost beat Agatha, they just lacked the knowledge of where to strike. Raki has that knowledge via the little one.

To be fair theres a big difference there was a whole army keeping Agatha distracted, as well as 3 claymores duking it out. Besides Agatha was toying with Cid lol (all that blood was making her horny :p )

prehaps or prehaps not, you could be right but u might be wrong its something we will find out later. But claymore hasn't been like that with unrelisticly strong humans, Raki was only with Isley for 6 years at most (judging how his been adventuring around looking for Clare)

Flar, sometimes I wonder if you even enjoy Claymore with the way you post :D. I mean Raki reappeared 14 pages ago and already people are saying that it is just standard shonen style are disappointed and probably crying in the basement where no one can see them. Some people are saying the interesting parts of the series are over now and the manga has "jumped the shark (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jumping_the_shark)". I think Claymore is quite remarkable in the differences it has to normal shonen styles and motifs. I think it definitely has similarities to other manga but has some differences that make it much better for me. For instance there absolutely are power ups in Claymore. Personally I always liked manga Raki. The kid did not flinch against Ophelia as she played her sadistic games with him. He has been mentally very tough for some time.
To be fair theres a big difference there was a whole army keeping Agatha distracted, as well as 3 claymores duking it out. Besides Agatha was toying with Cid lol (all that blood was making her horny :p )

You have to take into consideration the fact that Agatha is vastly more powerful than one single yoma tho, you could throw an army of yoma at her and she probably would still be fine.
Flar, sometimes I wonder if you even enjoy Claymore with the way you post :D. I mean Raki reappeared 14 pages ago and already people are saying that it is just standard shonen style are disappointed and probably crying in the basement where no one can see them. Some people are saying the interesting parts of the series are over now and the manga has "jumped the shark (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jumping_the_shark)"I'm not disappointed, I'm just saying I expected it and that I believe Raki isn't as strong as an AB or one of the leading Claymores. Why do you equate having a (different) theory on how things will unfurl with not enjoying the manga?
Raki always irritated me, true, but he still always had potential that was not fighting. In my opinion, his fighting skill is not relevant in comparison. (and that was not his crying that was irritating, but his total stupidity in trying to do something impossible right away despite knowing it was impossible without at least years of training and growing)
As an aside, I don't think Claymore is that different from a "normal" shonen (what's a "normal" shonen anyway?), it has the usual power-ups, group dynamics, motivation, old masters, or hotblood. That it has blood is just cosmetic... and even then it's not like works like Berserk or Ares are not bloody.
Also, I said the serie would jump the shark with an ultra strong Raki that would not be Claymorized, as it would, for me, destroy the entire theme that yoma/humans hybrid are stronger, make meaningless the experiences the MiB did on claymores and overall be totally incoherent with the setting.
I wonder if when Clare and Raki meet, she'd have to save his butt again :). I'm sure it's going to be a dire situation yet again(my personal predicition is Riful).
Raki sure is lukcy, not only Clare will go out of his way to protect him, but probably also Priscilla. I can totally see how Raki will be the demise of Riful, one way or another....

just the same its possible Raki will be the downfall for Riful, but at the same time i think it won't be Clare but more Priscilla.
Assuming that Raki and Priscilla's connection was the "something interesting" Riful found, she could try and abuse this leading to Priscilla killing her and Dauf in rage.
Though if Priscilla is the one traveling with Raki right now, i can't really see a situation where Raki would get himself in trouble either since he has the strongest AB sitting on his shoulder ready to attack all who touch Raki.
Poor Clare will have a heart attack if it is Prissy...After all the years of searching for clues of Raki in the north, she would finally find him with the monstrosity that killed her beloved Teresa perched on his shoulder. AAAHHHHH

He know that even though yoma can look and act like humans they are still monsters (liek his brother) Why would he take Priscila with him? To look for her parents? She'd just eat them right away!

About Raki: Yawn. Expected ever since we had the time-skip. The only modest surprise is that he is not with Isley any more. You sounded disappointed right at the beginning of the post :D. I did not think it because you have a different idea, but because you sounded disappointed. That was what I was talking about. :p
I think Claymore certainly does have a lot in common with other shonen manga because hey, it is a shonen manga. For *normal shonen* I think of Naruto, Bleach, Dragon Ball Z, D. Grey-man and the like. Admittedly I still read them and enjoy them. For me, however, Claymore stands out because of how much it grips me with the characters. It does not feel like most other manga to me. For me almost all of the characters are complex and engaging. It certainly does not escape archetypal storytelling techniques as we have old masters, characters on journeys getting stronger, and so on. You'd be hard pressed to find a story that was not like a story that had been told before unless you are going straight experimental which can be trippy. I know everyone has different tastes though so there is no use for me to argue how Claymore compares with Seinen manga like vagabond, berserk, gantz or anything like that. If blood is your thing there are certainly better places to get some cookies.
@myshka: I do not think Raki knows about Teresa and Priscilla although he might. I would hope that Clare told him something but Clare has never told anyone about Teresa explicitly that we know of. I doubt Priscilla mentioned her awakening either, but it is possible. Maybe Raki and Priscilla shared secrets. "I am still in love with a girl who saved me years ago." "I am a monster that eats people." *Hugs*
I'm not saying that he knows anything about Teresa. I'm just saying he's been exposed to ABs and yomas enough that he should realise what Isely and Priscilla are. I mean they still gotta feed right? So, no matter how greatful he is to them for saving him, teaching him sword skills and not eating him in general, they are still monsters...

Priscilla's parents are dead, that was before the storyline, they were eaten by Yoma. and also Priscilla did cling to raki. I think its an issue of the other way would priscilla let raki go? If he's human, its not like he has a chance of escaping from her. Even if he's claymore (I don't think he is, he needed unkwown girl to detect yoma for him, implying he can't sense yoki energy), its still doesn't help his chances of escaping priscilla. Riful, has already said Priscilla was stronger than the abyssal ones. I don't think Isley could stop her, if she wanted to tag along.
There are some other things, if Raki is still looking for clare, and travelling with priscilla
1) Likely he doesn't know anything about the fight to the north, or
his connection with priscilla is so strong he doesn't care.
2) If he doesn't know anything about the fight to the north, its perfectly possible he's unaware Isley and Priscilla are AB.
