yesterday i was messin a bit with flash and discovered a way to make screensavers with it.....so with a bit of fancy actionscriptin' and some naruto images, i made a screensaver that sort of resembles something from the series im sure you all will recognize :cool:

It looks mighty fine, but could you make it so that in the settings for the screensaver we can increase/decrease the number of pics scrolling down the screen. Btw are we supposed to here some tune while the screensaver is functioning?

im pretty sure i can add music in, but im still new with the scr program.
i also worked on implementing some keyboard functions that let the user speed up or slow down the movement of the pics.....but for some reason its not working in a newer version i tested. I'm not sure about the music, mainly because people tend to get annoyed pretty quickly with noisy screensavers, but hopefully i'll have a bunch of keyboard controls by the final release

Well I asked about the tune because when choosing a screensaver there is this option on the side which is "settings", I clicked on it for your screensaver and one of the options was "Mute screensaver".

oh yeah i noticed that too....i believe the program adds that to all the screensavers that it creates

ok i think the modifications have been completed with the screensaver....try out v1 now! (i changed the rar to zip and i made it an installation instead of just an scr, so it should be easier to install for you guys as well)

also, check the readme so you know some of the more enhanced features

It is working mighty fine and it's so cool!
The option to toggle the music on/off by the press of a button is great.
The secret isn't going to be of much use but it's still a nice addition(although the sound effect is a little annoying).

haha....well i was just messin around and felt like putting my insignia in it...and my roommate liked the sound effect they had for when you see the stuffed frog in episode 56, so he turned it into a sound clip....and since its connected to jiraiya and all, i thought it was a rather suitable sound effect :innocent:
the real secret was all the jiraiya images that replace the others, but that and the sound only occurs when the S button is pressed anyway
