For those that don't know the beta is out and you can get a key in gamespot.

Too me a bloody 7h to download the install file (2.8GB). The took me 1 h to figure out how to get account and dl more updates so then I could play.

I can say that the story is not the usual medieval/magic fiction. It's a futuristic sci-fi.

It's not a fps MMORPG but pretty close. It's lacking the First Person View mode though. It has an aiming system but the enemies shoots you and the hits homes in. LOL.

I played for 1h. All I can say is that I am not impressed at all.

Man I wasted 3 GB of BW plus time for nothing. Plus the system gets kinda instable and freezes sometimes when the launcher is running. Doh.

How long is the beta lasting? Graphics look good, shame my computer can't support them.

It is like Quake4 meets MMO ;0
Nice graphic and locations, fighting is kinda chaotic, but game has potential and there are always quests to do.

I tested out the game for a while. It seems pretty repettive overall. You do quests, level up, recieve items, pretty not much fun. ...... plus there isn't going to be any pvp.

I know someone who quit WOW and bought this game. He canceled his subscription within the next few days, when he already reached level 20/50.

"Boring as hell."

That was actually his comment on Hellgate: London too. He really disliked the beta.

And yes, there is a monthly fee. I'd wait for Guild Wars 2 = )

Tabula Rasa wasn't very good imo. I tried it out for a bit, it was very boring, the ui was annoying, the tutorial spent more time showing you how the ui worked than on actually playing the game. Not deserving of all the hype it got, but the story was kind of cool.

I have pretty much the same feelings about Hellgate: London. :(

yea same for me i thought Hellgate: London was gonna rock but it didn't
Well all that's left is Crysis where my computer only has an 7950gtx and its on low settings and im not gonna buy a 8800gtx

I can't really get back into MMORPGs, as said before, it ends up being a kill-stuff-do-this-get-levels sort of thing.

i second that, gw is great, non lvl/grind based game, but skill and tactic based, and its a not a mmo2ndjob :D rly should giv it a try, just remember not to go in2 it expecting a WoW style game, its gameplay is v different from most mmo's

WoW has an boring type becaause u can add mods which make u have like 200 skils or something like that Guild Wars doesn't allow mods to be used
