So, my selections were Konata, Kagami, Minami, Misao and Hiyori.

1.) Misao - Her voice and character for the absolute win, naaaa~. Her seiyuu could read the phonebook and I'd be in stitches.

2.) Hiyori - An episode of Lucky Star just isn't complete without a Hiyori yuri-flavoured fantasy :D

3.) Minami - I don't really know why I like Minami's character and it frustrates me that I can't pinned it down, but there you go.

4.) Kagami - She's so full of wonderful bitey snark that I just love so dearly. She's the ideal straight-man to Konata

5.) Konata - Aya Hirano really deserves props for the way she's developed Konata. She's so outlandish and random that it's a joy just to watch her on screen, especially when paired with Kagami.

Kuroi sensei gets an honourable mention for her sniff. :heh:

So, my selections were Konata, Kagami, Minami, Misao and Hiyori.


Creepy to say, but I had the same favs, and many for the reasons that Fweakin has already listed.

1. Konata: She's a tiny, lazy, flat-chested otaku with a love of dating sims and an often disturbing view of life. And she's voiced by the brilliant Aya Hirano. She's also Kagami's foil. What's not to love?

2. Kagami: The endearing tsundere who has a great grasp of 'snark' and a penchant to over-eat then fret. The 'normal' one who bounces off Konata to make a great comedy team.

3. Minami: There's something strangely compelling at watching Minami on screen, and I think a little bit of it has to do with her social awkwardness. It wouldn't be a Lucky*Star episode without Minami either: Blushing profusely and hiding into her hair, or lamenting her lack of curves.

4. Misao: AKA Konata mark II. As soon as Misao first opened her mouth, I haven't been able to stop laughing. Her seiyuu deserves major props for making such a minor character one of my favourites in this brilliant show. Misao's voice FTW.

5. Hiyori: Yuri-vision. Need I say more?

Kuroi didn't quite make the cut because I only love her for her sniffles, and the occasional 'pound Konata on the head'.

I stopped at eight, but looking over the list, I realize I could have chosen most of the others and felt almost the same conviction about my selections. I'll edit in my rationale behind each choice later; thanks to Saimoe, I've had some practice articulating the reasons that certain characters resonate with me.

Just to record my votes for now, in the order in which they appear in the poll: Konata, Kagami, Miyuki, Soujirou, Kanata, Nanako, Misao, Matsuri.

Misao is bound to do extraordinarily well in this poll for a side character--it helps that she probably has the highest adorability-to-lines-uttered ratio in the series. I'm sure she'll get a deservedly large share of votes based upon Mizuhara Kaoru's performance.

1) Kona-chan ... if there were (more) girls like her on this lonely planet, this world would be a better place imho...

2) Kuroi-sensei, I can really sympathize with her, she's close to a female version of myself with some minor differences (- mmorpg, + manga). I also love her fake Kansai-ben :D

3) Akira-sama ... I composed a poem dedicated to her. What more can I say? :heh:

4) Tsukasa... gentle, shy, embarrassed, confused, sleepy, .... :)

5) Patty... she's a gaijin otaku, just like me. She's visiting Holy Places in Japan and searching for true "Japanism" (as Sodom would say..). I show support and respect!

6) Minoru ... because without him, LC wouldn't have been the same! Lots of funny EDs too. Thanks Minoru-san ^^

The 5 I'm voting for, in order of preference.

1. Kagami-sama - Before I knew Tohsaka, Sawachika, Chidori, and a certain Flame Haze, there was Kagami. Pretty much always going to be my #1 Tsundere (despite Shiraishi's protests)

2. Misao - The fang, the voice, the brilliant mind. Towards the end I would judge episodes almost solely on whether or not they had enough Misao. Probably my #1 favority of LS, but just doesn't quite have the same sentimental value as Kagami.

3. Nanako - Another fang, another winner. Plus the Leftovers, internets letdowns, and pride over her Kansai dialect. My super-prediction for the final episode was hooking it up with Kona-Dad, but I guess somethings would just be too perfect.

4. Konata - If she wasn't so damn entertaining, I probably would've dropped the series long ago. Kagami just wouldn't be the same without her.

5. HiyUri- Name says it all. Her dramatic falls and lack of memory seal it.

Honorable Mentions
Ayano - Always around when Misao is, so how could I not love her? Didn't quite get to speak enough, but the hair-down picture is enough for me. If only we got to see her dark-side that was hinted at.

Kona-Dad - I don't know how a shameless Lolicon like him couldn't make my list, but the top 5 were just too good. Still, asking your daughter for help with ero-games, showering your loli-ism to your daughter, niece, and their friends, yet still being the master of Love in Ep. 22 makes him my #1 Dad over Haruhi's from Ouran (Real one, very tough choice with Tamaki though)

Mi-Mi-Miracle Mino-run-run - made Lucky Channel bearable. Most of his ED's were pretty good too.

Hell, I liked pretty much everyone... except Miy-useless-ki and Akira. The only 2 Miyuki scenes i enjoyed were the eyedrops one, and winning the race with her chest. But neither would've been the same without Konata obsessing over her figure.

My Dream Miyuki Ending:
Mystery Dentist : Hmm, I see a potential cavity forming. Lets fix that up.
Miyuki: Ohhhh don't worry about it, i'll just brush more.

I voted for everyone except for Miyuki, Ayano, Older Hiiragis, and Animate Tenchou. I voted for Miyuki's mom based on her moe-death pose in 23... Man that woman's damn cute. Of course, as always, Kagamin is #1.

Well... I would have voted all of them, but... I think I better not. I voted for my top 4 favorite characters: Konata, Kagami, Nanako, and Anime Tenchou. Each of them is just too unique. Konata is classic Otaku, Kagami the classic tsundere, Nanako the lovable teacher, and Anime Tenchou the overeacting...shop owner? Still much love to other characters, just not as much :)

Two of my votes come in pairs:

Konata and Kagami, the greatest comedy duo of the year.
Akira and Minoru - yes, even Akira. For as much as we love Shirashi being bashed to the point of explosion, someone had to be the one to light the bomb.

I also voted for Misao - something about her voice and mannerisms are just amusing to me. I also voted Patty, for being a voice for people like us (and playing a great Mikuru). Hiyori for her creative endeavors, and Meito, the Anime store owner. His actions would make Kamina proud.

Of course, the whole cast made the show great, but these people really stood out.

I would have liked to vote for everyone since the supporting cast of this show was so amazing. However, I will limit myself and voice my super duper favorites.

Kona- initially my favorite character from the show, her open-otaku and gaming nature really resonated with me, and I was a bit jealous as to how she could be like that. I've often been pretty shy with my hobbies.

Kagami- a character that grew on me and brought me over to the tsundere dark side, her sensuality, sensitivity, and all those tsundere qualities made her very appealing. About halfway through the show she overtook Konata for my top character.

Akira- Her switching back and forth between happy idol and pissed off woman were great, she managed to create a very comical rapport with Minoru that made the last couple of minutes of the show very unique.

Minami- What can I say, I like the quiet type, and I enjoyed watching her character grow and overcome a lot of her shyness and insecurities to be close with her friends.

Misao- Overwhelming cuteness, and the ability to say exactly what's on her mind make her very endearing.

Patricia- The way gaijin should be portrayed in anime, she trumped the stereotypes in character and in speech. Takes top spot for me in supporting characters.

Hiyori- Her dedication to her craft and urge to see her friends in uh, new and interesting ways, were a source of fun throughout.

Top 3, despite voting for about 7 characters.

1. Tsukasa - She will always be the cutest moeblob on the show. I also have her character songs on repeat once in awhile. Scary, isn't it?
2. Misao - WHAT A HUGE SHAME for her to be introduced so late in the series and have little spotlight. The hyper voice, the fang, the absurdity of her personality! Argh!
3. I'd like to say Konata or Patricia here, but number three goes to... Soujirou Izumi: Awesome-kun wins at life.

My all time favorite has to be Patricia.

Our favorite blonde transfer student always makes me smile with her outlandish remarks. Part of me always asks myself, "Would I have said the same thing in her shoes?" whenever she makes a rather otakuish remark.

Second goes to Miyuki. I actually enjoy the way she explains things to her friends whenever they ask, it reminds me of myself as I always seemed to be able to give rather coherent responses to whatever random question du jour that some of my friends would ask.

Third goes to Minami! It's hilarious how far she seems to be from Nagato level whenever she acts or speaks, but even though I know that she isn't quite like your average tall quiet mystery girl in anime, I can't help but be surprised and amused every time she does something super cute or Konata harrasses her.

Anime - Tenchou - Well, I think I voted because of VA of Sousuke but nonetheless, he is funny but not enough screen time

even the minor characters are likable...
anyway i voted for...

tsukasa... my favorite of the show... she wasn't my favorite at first but i gradually liked her as the show progressed and then ep 5 came and the infamous balsamic vinegar came and that bumped her up to my favorite spot... ep 6 with the beach ep and the tsukasa ending just sealed the deal... and i've been liking her ever since... even my blog was was named from her other memorable line of “あとごふんだけほんとうに~” (http://atogofundake.wordpress.com/)... and when she asked konata "what's moe' i just had to think "that would be you tsukasa <3"...

kagami... my first favorite character... she's the one i voted for in the first poll... just before i was converted towards tsukasa... what captured me at first was her tsundere traits... but tsundere isn't exactly the right word for it though... it's also fun watching her be the tsukkomi of the other characters boke...

kanata... ep 22... nuff said...

yutaka... she's just so cute... the way she act is so cute... she also has the sickly chara trait that just begs for her to be protected... and her singing to the mojipittan song can give you a moe overload...

minami... silent chara moe... one of my favorite moe traits... she also has many cute moments as what was witnessed my miyuki's mom in ep 23...

misao... that fang... that voice... just screams moe... i want a drama cd where she just narates her day... even though i won't understand everything she says her voice is just so moe it's criminal...

ayano... she lacks screentime but that one pic with her having her hair down was just so hawt... i still don't know what moe attribute she has...

patty... i also would like a drama cd with her narrating her day... she's tied with misao for having the cutest voice and with tsukasa in the not so distant second... and as with misao i tend to replay the scenes where she talks just to hear more of her...

hiyori... as someone mentioned before... she has yuri vision... ep 19 also show lots of good moments for her... especially when she expresses wih her face the character expressions she's drawing...

matsuri... she's just as tsundere(again not the right word but it gets the message accross, ihope) as kagamin... and ep 17... nuff said...

Well, well looks like my hunch we're right since Konata and Kagami are the 2 most popular main they'll be in the lead. But now Kagamin has a bit of a lead since her character development was so good in the anime. But my favorite main character is still Konata...for the guys of Lucky Star the most entertaining for me is Anime Tenchou, sorry Minoru, you're funny and all, but I like hot blooded guys, but don't worry I voted for ya. ;)

And I kinda voted for moms also since thanks to them we have cute little versions of them LOL :heh: I was looking for Miki, but she wasn't there in the poll :( Too bad...

So here's the guys I voted for :


Izumi Konata - who wouldn't love a cute loli girl that likes anime and games and a total otaku with a long moppy hair, seductive charm eyes, cat smile and a cute voice. Definately my type of loli. :D

Hiiragi Kagami - tusndere and pigtails are not my cup of tea, but being a good friend to Konata and having alot of air time developed her character in the anime. Her attitude towards friends and family gives her great character like a real person in real life. Kagamin you got my vote!

Shiraishi Minoru - funny and the only REAL person to play as himself in the anime. WAWAWAWA... LOL every Shiraishi end :heh:

Narumi Yui - I dunno I just like the elder cousin type that has a catlike loli face that often visits after her work shift as a police. Must be the chair rocking episodes...dunno. :naughty:

Izumi Soujiro - a man that hit the jackpot Kanata! The real Otaku dad. Who doesn't like to have a dad like that?

Izumi Kanata - the mom that looks like the daughter how can i resist that? elegant, sweet, nice, womanly and loli at same time great combination for a character. Too bad she's dead. But her air time gave a great deph in her relationship with Sou-kun.

Iwasaki Minami - silent, phoenix eyes, shy and unique. I like anime girls like that gets me more curious, makes me want to know about her.

Kusakabe Misao - 2 reason the voice is by far imho the cutest among the LS girls. Ever since her 1st appearance "Oi Hiiragi" she got me! :love: The second reason I like her design and over all friendliness towards people. Who could resist that?

Patricia Martin - cute voice, American, tallest among the girls and 100% an otaku girl! Great character addition to the LS group.

Tamura Hiyori - I got a thing for long, black haired girls that draws well go figure. :heh: Much of her air time is comedic, but that doesn't mean she's all goof. Her passion in manga making and drawing are her good qualities, though she fantasizes to much yuri and yaoi...XD

Hiiragi Inori - one reason looks like Nagato Yuki and has phoenix eyes. Or was it 2 reasons? :P

Takara Yukari - well sorry Miyuki, though your a loli, I like the moms better. Maybe Iam not a lolicon...or it's just she's got that mature woman magnet. :P

Anime Tenchou - BAKUNETSU!!! Any hot blooded guy this cool is A1 in my book. He gave more entertainment and funny moments among all the male support and lead characters in LS. Probably the best male character in LS next to Minoru. But he's not an LS character, but he SURE DOES FIT IN, the LS storyline most especially the LS Channel interview. Tanizawa - FINGER!!!

-Tsukasa: Shes been my favourite character since the beginning of the series, everytime she was on I couldn't help to not love her more.
-Patricia: I loved her when she came in and always thought "I wish I knew someoneone like her", its a pity she came in so late though.
-Konata: Shes an otaku and a very funny one at that. Shes also not that shy about it.
-Kanata: Truely a perfect mother
-Soujiro: AKA pedo-dad, one must adore his antics
-Shiraishi: His endings were hilarious and he made LC great

Konata and Kagami - The single best stereotyping comedic duo I have ever seen, period. One is a tried and true tsundere, and the other a wholly new species: A character specifically made for otakus and for no other reason.

Kagami - Realistic tsundere the way the word should have meant for. For everyone looking for a definition of tsundere, Kagami's your new poster girl.

Konata - the perfect parody of otakuism...all in one small package. Come on...she radiates otaku and probably doesn't weigh more than 100 pounds. She's also terrifyingly insensitive and secretly insightful at the same time. I think I've spent too much time thinking about how she became the way she is.

Misao - She may have came late, but she's a real submarine hit when it comes to voice acting. We heard far too little of her playfully fanged voice.

Minami - This might actually be character development: she grew gradually more open as the third year episodes went by, and in the end her behavior was somewhere between Miyuki and Tsukasa. She's also, for better or for worse, pure fanwork plot bait.

I tried to keep my votes to a minimum. Still ended up with 5.:heh:

Kagamin: My favorite from the beginning. I have a thing for the sarcastic straight-man. Her reactions to Konata's silly antics are what make the jokes fly. Great tsundere moments. The twintails are a great look on her. And her expression when she picked up the yaoi manga in the comiket episode was 250% win by volume.

Shiraishi: An amicable character who ends up in the worst positions, like sitting next to Akira-sama on a television set. Something about good people getting the punishment they deserve makes me warm and fuzzy inside.

Misao: Oh Em Gee. I love her voice. To call it a laugh riot doesn't do it justice. She'd be my #1 if she had more screen time.

Patricia Martin: Reminds me of myself all too much. So easy to relate to that I can't help but like her. Incredibly cute voice.

Tamura Hiyori: If Yuu-chan knew half the things that went through Tamura's head, she'd be terrified. If she knew all of them, she'd call the cops. The way she catches herself in the middle of her yuri fantasies never fails to make me laugh.

A poll for an ensemble cast like this is a bit wierd... its like asking which pieces you like best out of a 20 piece jigsaw puzzle.

Ah well.... I went with:
Kagamin --- because I just had to.
Misao --- surprise characterization and voice acting of the series for me. o my god that voice!
Tsukasa --- for cellphones, balsamic vinegar, seashells, and mayo.
Konata --- because every Kagamin needs a Konata, otherwise the comedy duo can't happen.

and lastly, Nanako --- because that is one damn fine bit of cake... dammit.

I was going to vote Kanata, though i only let myself choose four --- she's lovely, and was in one of the best moments in the series, though i wouldn't feel right leaving out of the my four chosen who truly deserve to be on my list.

I am actually at a loss on how to explain the reasons on why I consider Kagami to be my favourite character in this show. Tsunderes are not typically my type of "moe" if one was to examine the anime I have watched thus far.

Kagami - well, it's hard to tell why, but IMO it's the best LS character (wah! Another diet!)

Shiraishi - without him LC will be piece of **** (Viva 21 ep). Akira is too creepy for me...

Anime Tenchou - funny drawing style, and that passion, when "Legendary girl A" is going to buy something.

Tsukasa- she was my favourite in the first half of the series, and I still love her. She's so cute and moe~!
Misao- my favourite character now. I love her voice, and I love her personality.
Yui- I love how she acts exactly the opposite of how I think she should act as a cop and older guardian.
Hiyori- loves drawing and YURI~ <3 Her expressions are always cute too.
Matsuri- I don't know why I voted for her, I guess it was episode 17. I really like how she is with Kagami.

He raised Konata mostly by himself alone, is a skilled writer who can make enough money to live happily, is as knowledgeable as Miyuki at the very least, and is a good-hearted, modest, and really strong and truthful person, with a little bit of twist. ;)

Konata - The divine yet cursed avatar of all that otaku!

Kuroi-sensei - A great teacher, or, more than that, an excellent person.
It seems she's too good to have her own happiness, though...

Miyuki - She's cute, attracting, thoughtful, kind, and 'useful'. She is all what others think of her. And thus, she's the one who is never really understood. Sad thing, but this is so real.
If Konata or someone else could steal her lines, she would have looked more interesting...

Kagami - The ideal tsundere and even more than that. I don't like 'tsundere' characters basically, but I think I can tell how she developed her personality...
Also I think her name really fits her character.

Hiyori - Utter otaku without a partner like Kagami but her own better self.
I sometimes feel sorry for her but it's so hilarious.

Ayano - Misao's 'better half'. I also believe she is very unique and interesting,
yet the sole mysterious person in the series.

And I didn't check Minoru: I think he's a bit overrated.
Not that I hate him, but Lucky Star is not supposed to be his story!

Even we got to know some background regarding Yutaka, Minami, Hiyori, and a few others, but Ayano... Perhaps the most mysterious character in the series with pretty much no background.

Well, since everybody else's doing it, I might as well throw in my wall of text >.>

First and foremost, I want to thank and congratulate Kagami Yoshimizu and folks at KyoAni for creating the 10-girl crew that someone picky like me actually liked each and everyone of them. (mind you, I find 80% of nowdays common moe traits NOT attractive)

Now let's do the breakdown:

Kona: A new species in the history of Moe(Otaku-wise Senzenin Nagi is a mere wannabe standing next to Kona), and one of my liking. Can you imagine Lucky Star without her? Neither can I.

Kagamin: A very cute and well developed character by her own right, but when combined with Kona, it goes another level and you have one of the most lovable anime dual of all time.

Tsukasa: I usually find this type of innocent character's moeness forced and unrealistic/unattractive, and that's how I felt towards Tsukasa at the beginning. But over time I guess enough quantity can bring a change to quality, it's almost a crime not to find her absolutely adorable by the end of the series.

Miwiki: Contrary to Kona's remark of her being a "walking pillar of moe", Miwiki is actually my least favorite of the ten and almost didn't get my vote(I'm weak-minded and felt bad to exclude anyone of the ten). Partly because Meganekos are actually a turn-off for me and I don't find the know-it-all type interesting either. Towards the very end of the series she grows on me a little, though.

Misao: Many have said it and I'm gonna say it again: what a pleasant surprise of cuteness and what a shame for her to only have so little screen time. The voice, the hyper, the fang, simply adorable and so much potential (Plus I dig her design)

Ayano: Again, cute by her own(though we didn't get to see much), but better when around Misao. A friendship different than that of KonaGami, but almost as cute. (And I have a thing for straightlonghair+hairband combo)

Yutaka and Minami: Both fall in the archtype I don't usually care much about: innocent little sister and emotionless cool girl. But their relationship win me over: I'm not necessarily a fan of Yuri so I find it a bit weird, but nonetheless funny and cute (more so with Hiyorin around)

Hiyorin: To me, this might just be Yoshimizu/KyoAni's biggest achievement: they've created a meganeko that I find absolutely moe! I myself am amazed by how much I like her character.

Patty: When she first appears as Mikuru I thought she looked dumb(just how I felt about Mikuru), but later when she shows up with new design and her own personality, she instantly wins me over. It's amazing how Yoshimizu managed to create not one but three Otaku girls, which is a new species in anime, but also make each of them so unique and different from the other.


Granted, aside from Kona and Kagamin, the other girls are somewhat 2-dimensional and could be viewed as simple combination of different moe elements. But still, they did a damn good job and it's no small feat to create a 10-man cast where I like each and everyone of them.

Now about the votes, like I said I voted for all of them. But if I have to break it down, I think it'd be something like this:

Tier 1: Kona, Kagamin;
Tier 2: Tsukasa, Hiyorin, Misao, Patty
Tier 3: Miwiki, Yutaka, Minami, Ayano

Like with others I'd love to vote for almost everyone, but I'm going to try and be a bit more restrictive here. Still in general I love all the girls. Save for maybe Akira because she got tiresome early on, but I do admit she had a few good moments.

Izumi Konata: She gave a lot of energy to the series with her awesome otakuness. I also love the faces she'd make on occasion. Still part of what makes her great is her interaction with Kagami.

Hiiragi Kagami: Which brings me to the next. Kagami's reactions to Konata and the various other characters is part of the fun. Also I love her hair. It's like twin tails to the next level since she has four instead of two on her.

Hiiragi Tsukasa: Her cuteness is overwhelming. She has several aww type moments where she struggles. Besides she's the twin sister of Kagami. And for some reason I always vote for both twins.

Kobayakawa Yutaka: An extremely cute character. Plus her relationship with Minami is part of the reason I like her. Which also replies in reverse.

Iwasaki Minami: She has a very cool exterior, but at the same a moe interior. Okay maybe moe is not the right word, but I'm at a loss here.

Kusakabe Misao: Her tan just works for her. Her voice is lovely. She's well attractive for some reason. Plus I love her fan. She has to be my favorite character in the series over all.

Patricia Martin: She's a lot of fun. Plus she gets special bonus points for being responsible for that element of episode 24.

Tamura Hiyori: In a sense she goes along with Minami and Yutaka thanks to the fact she views them through Yuri-Vision. Plus her being a closet otaku is a good constrast to the open-otaku of Konata.

Kagami - Aside from her tsundere-ness, she probably had the most 'emotional' moments in Lucky Star. In my opinion, she is as much the lead as Konata, who people probably look at as the 'mascot' character for Lucky Star [I'm having trouble finding a way to phrase this].

Tsukasa - She probably got the third most screentime, but I loved her personality. She tended to stay in the background with Miyuki, but she had her own moments. I think her and Kagami tie for my first favorite character.

Patricia - She gave the essence of a super-hyper weeaboo/otaku, which I tended to enjoy. People are saying that Misao's voice was her selling point; I thought Patricia's voice was her's.

Minoru - The Kyoto trip + Minoru = Win. I burst out laughing because Minoru was laughing.

Ms Kuroi isn't on a lot but I really liked the leftover christmas cake episode and the PC issues. I can relate. Hiyori's wild imagination had me in stitches for the final 6 episodes or so. And Akira flipping out constantly from he ulta cutesy intro and outro was just ridiculous. A lot of people didn't like Lucky Channel but I really enjoyed it.

The Hiiragi parents are obviously doing their job well, considering that their daughters are normal and down to earth indivuduals with not too detrimental quirks.

However, two parental figures in Lucky Star are worrying.

1) Izumi Sou, who as his daughter calls him, is an open "Lolicon Otaku Ero-Oyaji", a Perfect Blue just BEGGING to happen.

2) Takara Yukari, who in spite of being painfully cute is lazy, stupid and and does nothing whatsoever.

This is a recent conversation I have had with other Animesukiboarders offline, and they both came to the concensus that the above two individuals are in fact good parents because their children grew up to be happy and well adjusted individuals.

She's both strong-headed and terribly, fabously, incredibly cute - honestly, when she's embarassed, she simply make the moe-meter explode, even Yuki-chan can't hold her a candle. Just enough tsun to have drive, and lots of dere that reveals itself quite easily.

1) Tsukasa:
This is an obvious one. She is just awesome, cute, funny, cute, awesome, and funny. There is no other Lucky Star character that can top her. No matter what.

2) Hiyori:
The way she puts her own life to save her hand surprises me alot. Mainly because that almost exactly what I do. There are several occasions in which I fell and had to try to only land with my right hand (Non-Drawing hand) and managed to land on my face.

3) Misao:
Her Tan skin, fangs and spunky attitude is just great. I kept playing the part in O.V.A where she hugs Kagami and says, 'Love' over and over again.

4) Minami:
I have no real reason she is in my top 5. I just think she is cool.

5) Akira:
She is crazy and ridiculously cute at the same time. And that's why she is in my top 5.

I love this series and I love the kagami and konata comic duo. Kagami has the best facial expressions and reactions its just too funny to watch. Oh I also had to put in Kuroi sensei. I adore her she reminds me of me in some ways. And i love her kansai dialect and the way she talks. "What happenned to sunday what happend to my day off" and her luck on the computer in a later episode had me cracking up. Its just too funny:D

Somehow I missed this thread until today, and I decided to only vote for my top 5 being:

1. Kagami Hiiragi of course, she's practically my favorite character ever. Besides being tsundere and really cute, there is no way I could have enjoyed lucky star as much without her, or Konata.

2. Konata Izumi, her otaku-ness, and jokes were always win, and plus she's part of my favorite pairing :3.

3. Kuroi Nanako - Simply the best teacher ever, EVER nothing else needs to be said.

4. Hiyori Tamura - her drawings, personality, and fantasies were great, her doing back spin to protect her drawing hand was one of the most epic things ever :heh:.
