Im not really curious but i guess it would be kool to know how many ppl on the board are of a certain sexuality..plus there was the "what gender are you" thread so anyway...i am dedicating this thread to Kempis Curious who was in the hottest boys thread trying to find out what sexuality ppl were and stuff ^__^ So what sexuality are ya's?

There are people that have children for many reasons: accidentely(more times ignorance than anything else), to continue family name/bloodline, to have someone to love that is at least half of what you are, to prepetuate the Human species in order to achieve a higher evolution state(that will take alot of time, unless there's a miracle of some kind), etc...
I myself would give up reproduction for imortality. Or I would have created 1000 instantaneous(they would grow rapidely up to my current age including all my memories) clones of myself.

The term "gay" is gender neutral, as it simply means homosexual.
"lesbian" is simply a specific way of saying "female homosexual", however gay is still a proper term to use for a female homosexual.
However, I dont have a clue to what pansexual means...
As for me, I am a pretty much perfectly bi-sexual male...to me beautiful people are attractive no matter what gender they are. It's unfortunate that there is still a slight gay stigma these days. And its even worse that many males that are homophobic towards gay men often enjoy observing the actions of gay women.

hmm...I guess I am dying species. I am conservative. In another words family is my primary goal. I was born in muslim country and that gave a huge impact on my ways of thinking. In my mind women and men are ment to be together. I have nothing against gays (I have a gay friend, female), but I could never be friends with male gay....(yes I am homophobic).
Call me crazy, but I want lots of kids and smart wife that will support me no matter what(I love kids and I can't ever get enough of them). I am also against adoption for gays, coz I think it's unnatural and will be no good for the kid. Well as we all know kids take a role model from father (if boy) or mother (if girl), so what if men gay family gets a girl...who will talk to her about "girly stuff"? Anyway I am far offtopic now...

I think maybe you should visit places on net more suitable for you(if you wanna find some1) like gay chans on IRC or so. Anyway I am just amazed how many ppl told that they're something else then straight.
I think modern media gives a wrong picture about sex...with all advertisement and so. I was raised in culture when it wasn't ok to talk about it and TV didn't show ANY nudity...and I am happy for that. I will do the same for my kids too (ofcoz parents tell them kids about sex, but in time...when they're like 16-18). I think sex belongs in marriage. I am so agaist small "advantures" and there for I am agaist gay ppl that do that (straight too). Well I have so much to say still but I should stop now coz I usually end up insulting ppl

Those many people probably mostly aren´t serious. And when it comes to meeting people, internet really isn´t the best option, even in the case of places meant for it. I know his situation though, all too well. C´est la vie, or something like that ;P

This is definately true, however as the times are changing so is the media's viewpoint on homosexuals. In USA for instance, one of the more popular current sitcoms (citcoms?) is a show that focuses somewhat on homosexuals called Will and Grace . I'm sure I could find another example but none come to me at the moment.
As for the current results, it doesn't really look too one sided actually.. 9 so far polled that they would consider the same gender, and 33 are straight. Thats a little over 25%.

First of all I'm straight and that's what I voted(I also was the one that edited the second option in the poll).
Unfortunatelly if I was Gay I would have been in trouble as my father considered all of them as people with mental problems and a bunch of other things that would be impolite to mention(I'm using past tence because he died three years ago).
During my dark days of music( :uhoh: ) I discovered a forum that may be of help to some of you as people there are completelly open. The site is this (http://magic.wobforums.com) and the sections of the forum you will be intrested are "The Rainbow Room" and perhaps "Studio 69". I hope this helps.

I grew up just minutes away from the Castro, so I was exposed to homosexuality almost on a daily basis. My grandmother’s neighbors were a gay couple (they adopted two adorable girls), and I used to go over to their house all the time to bake cookies and play around the house. My parents weren’t homophobic, but I knew that they didn’t want any of their kids to turn out “that” way. It was okay as long as other people were happy with that type of lifestyle, but it was a big no-no for us. I remember in high school going through that stage where I didn’t know whether I was straight or gay or even bisexual, and I was attracted to both sexes at one point. However, at the time I was also trying to find my identity. Now that I’m in college and have gone through my doubts and such, I know for sure that I’m straight.
Gravitation – I’m really surprised that you’ve already figured out your sexual orientation, but that’s really good that you’ve accepted it. How are your parents’ take on it? I’m only asking because I know from my experience that my parents would’ve been really sad if I chose to live my life with another woman. I hate to say it, but they’re glad I turned out “normal.”

Hmm...well, I guess it really depends on the parents and their feelings about the subject to determine when the best time to tell them is. If they are extremely homophobic for instance, might want to wait until you are ~18 or around the time when you are moving out anyway ;). However, if they dont seem to dislike homosexuality then you might not have any worries. Try bringing up the general topic using some sort of medium (such as TV/News)..and find out their viewpoints.
In my case, it wasn't very difficult..as my mother's brother (my uncle), is 100% gay so she really didn't seem to mind. However, since she knows I'm completely bi I sometimes suspect that she tries to push women on me at times to try to tip the balance...or something...

I think they might suspect that im gay a teeny bit coz of small things...like i guess im kinda more feminine ermm o yeah i have hated football since i was young lol cant think of anymore at the mo ^__^. You could always not tell them ever. ^^ My mother is rather religious and might permanently lose her peace of mind if I rubbed being bi in her face by bringing a boyfriend by or something. If I had met someone of the same sex I wanted to be intimate with before college/moving out I might have gone ahead and let the parents know, though.

anyways, is gay culture as accepted in london, more so than it is in say, california?

I can't say much for "a-sexual", but as for bisexual I think that actually we have settled our sexuality more-so than plenty of straight people. For instance, some "straight" people will often try to deny the fact that they are sometimes attracted to those of their own gender. They will go out of their way to prove that they are straight, and many will act quite homophobic. This of course, is just an example of a small amount of "straight" people. As for bisexual, they already realize that they are often just as attracted to the same gender as the opposite.
Although I have to admit, that around 8-15 years old I always tried to figure out if I was straight or gay, and around 16 it finally settled in as both. However, during that period of time when I was confused , I would have answered a poll like this as straight, and not bisexual.

Oh... Yeah I don't want any kids either. I've thought that way since I was 12 years old and now I'm 26 going 27 in a month and I still don't want kids. I want 2 puppies and to travel... hmmm I guess if it was ever so possible... a nice ferrari or porsche would be nice... or I'd settle for a nissan skyline for now :p Anyways... people freak when I tell them I don't want kids... or they will tell me that I will change my mind... but I know 100% that I won't. There's just so much I want to do and see... travel all over the place and meet people... that's what I want to do... :D No kids... and trust me... no one can change my mind... PiGGiEE, thats the same with me i definately know im not gonna have kids but my mum always says i will think differenly when im older but i know i wont :) Its not that i hate kids but i just feel they will hold me bak and i wont be able to do all the stuff i wanna do, travel the world (like yourself).
come on guys...kids are so SWEEET and it's nice to sleep like 2h per day and be up with them trying to calm them. Also it's nice to come home and realize that it'sa mess and u must clean up...by the time your done...it's almost night and u still have work to do....

for any of you females ever think about experimenting with lesbianism (sp?),
Dateing one girl at a time may not be very efficient, i suggest that you go on group dates with 4-5 girls.
And When you bring them home, you should at least makeout a little, too see if you like it or not. Then you should, well, only if you want too, take it too the next step with like an orgy or so. Then you can sample many other girls at the same time, without having to go on many diffrent dates.

My sexuality I would consider myself straight, however, to be honest, I've had mixed feelings before. Curiousity I could say it is, but not much more than that. I don't know how else to explain it really, there are things which could make me seem to sway the other way, such as my avid enjoyment for romance elements in stories... maybe its because I live with 3 women who often annoy the hell out of me, but who knows. All I know is... I do like the ladies.

It seems to me that children "happen" more often than they are specifically planned, especially if you get married. If you ever get pregnant your brain chemistry will change to wanting to be a mom. Good thing too, otherwise I think most pregnancies would be aborted. :(

Yeah, but I think that their lives were half over at that point, people didnt live as long as they do now so they had to start younger. Also there are places in the world where that is still true and I don't think they (the 12 year olds) are very happy about it. When I was about 13, I almost had sex with a girl I really liked.
She wanted to, but I wasn't ready yet and I guess I was also scared.
