To get all the light orbs, don't you have to date some of the other girls? That kinda means that in the overall canon storyline, those events "Happened", didn't they? I mean, isn't it almost like Tomoya's unconsciously cheating on Nagisa?

Technically yes, but that's just how this game genre goes. KEY had already taken a big step by removing any trace of ero scenes, I guess they didn't want to take the extra step and have a single heroin.

In the visual novel, I have to admit, I did every other arc before I touched Nagisa's, so at least I didn't, technically. :heh:

But, yeah, in some of the alternate realities (see the Tomoyo OVA), you date girls who are not Nagisa. You can interpret that anyway you want, though I tend to see each Tomoya as not being consciously aware of his mission in the game.

I too... I too am crossing my fingers at the end of K-On! we'll see what happened with Haruhi... When Kanon 2006 was announced. Oh how I squealed with glee. <3

I'm hoping I can do the same, I'll watch it regardless provided that KyoAni seriously doesn't air Haruhi season 2, and hope that at the end of the series, we'll see the screen fade, and then 'bam', we hear a guitar start playing, grainy brown and white filmish imagery...

And then a shift into color, just like in the actual game intro.

I'm hopeful, I'm VERY hopeful. I don't trust Kyoto Animation on the originality front anymore, again, munto is dead to me, but I have very big hopes we'll see Little Busters! in the fall.

Or soon. My patience isn't limited, I'm still content with waiting for Umineko no Naku Koro ni to premier after all...

I knew exactly what you were describing by the time you got to the imagery part. Little Busters! is what I anticipate the most from KyoAni at this point, even beyond a second Haruhi season. I'll rejoice when I see the preview for it. (And that's when, not if. Unless the world ends soon, KyoAni is destined to animate Little Busters just as the next summer action flick is destined to get a console game marketed with it.)

Air worked, Kanon worked and clearly, Clannad seems to have worked.

Little Busters! TV really is JUST a matter of when. We all know it's coming someday. Someday...

It's not like Haruhi 2, where there's questioning of it's chances of being made. Key Adapts have been huge in success as far as I know.

...I just wish someone would bring the Blu Ray boxset for AIR stateside. ;-;

No, actually it was correct: the information above was kind of spoilers, even if it isn't anything major. It is certainly something not expected, especially considering the other key titles, hence it should not be mentioned (people still can learn that from the game thread, but for all intent and purpose...).
And regardless if these are minigames or not, it is also part of the plot and the storytelling. At least, let us leave some surprise to people who really have no idea of what LB is about.

And as proto said, using the LB game thread would be much more suitable and pertinent unlike hijacking clannad spoiler thread (not like every clannad gamer/spoiled people know about LB features anyway).
