Ep 5
Over the course of the episode, I went from "Oooh hawt!" to "Awww, sweet". The only problem is, between that, I was going "yawn". The fights almost always feel ultimately pointless and drawn out. I didn't mind this ep other than that, but the fights really drag this show down.
Sunflower hats and white summer dresses are now officially my fetish. To say that Kuu filled her's out really well is an understatement. *Drool*

...Sakurai (i think...or is it sakura?)'s VA reminds me a lot of Hirohashi Ryo, oddly, though others have said Noto Mami on this thread too.Credit where credit is due: she's played by Kano Yui, who was Momoko in Sumomo mo Momo mo, and won a seiyuu award (controversially) for that role. She's apparently just as loopy in real life as in these shows.
http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/2397/kanoyuiyjs8.jpg (http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/2397/kanoyuiyjs8.jpg) http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/2504/kanoyuizhd9.th.jpg (http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/2504/kanoyuizhd9.jpg)
And I don't think she sounds like anyone else. I'm not that great at recognizing voices, but I recognized hers here right away: a voice like she used for Momoko, tight and speedy, with lots of dynamics and a bit of a slur. Hilarious.
But I admit that one reason I'm so enthusaistic is that I'm not finding a lot to love in this show except the work of the seiyuus. I probably enjoyed this ep more than any other, since I got lots of Hayami Saori, as well as of Yui.

Listened to the OP single, and it was great! :)
The actual full OP was really good.
The other song that came with it (Kiseki) was pretty good too. Not as good as the OP, but still good. Just that... I had a strange feeling when they started lala-ing... Like a certain Ookami to Koushiryou song? :heh:
Also, it has bothered me before, but on the jacket cover:
There are pictures of Kuu in a school uniform... Will she go to school later?! :eyespin:
And another image has school uniform Kuu with the male version of the other fox.

Yes, very good OP :)
Yoshida Hitomi has a really good, strong voice. The start of KIZUNA is pleasant to listen to (because it didn't turn into screeching :heh:).
About the covers...
Kuu has long hair again O.o
Must be a few months time jump?
I'm interested in the other fox guy...could they be related? :heh:

Two new profiles revealed:
Mubyou VA: Mizuhashi Kaori
http://anime.webnt.jp/oinarisama/%E3%83%A0%E3%83%93%E3%83%A7%E3%82%A6%EF%BC%88%EF%B C%91net%EF%BC%89.jpg
A playful onee-san that appears in front of Tooru one day.
In the hot summer, she is wearing a coat and even a muffler.
Her trademark are the puppets on her hands.
Searching for something, she asks for Tooru's help.
She calls Ebisu "Ebi-chan", and seems to know Kuu-chan as well...
Thoughts:
Sorry, when I saw "Ebi-chan", I immediately thought of shrimp...
Now what could be she searching for... :eyebrow:
Fukurou VA: ??? <--Dun dun dun!!
http://anime.webnt.jp/oinarisama/%E3%83%95%E3%82%AF%E3%83%AD%E3%82%A6%EF%BC%88%EF%B C%91%EF%BC%89.jpg
A masked mysterious person who appears in front of Noboru at the same Mubyou does.
In contrast to appearances, he is picky about manners and always brings a present when visiting someone's house.
He, himself, insists on being an owl (Fukurou), but he usually gets misunderstood to be some other animal, causing him to get deeply depressed.
He seems to be searching for the same thing as Mubyou......
Thoughts:
Okay, so we have one new character going to one brother, and another new character going to the other brother. They both plan to ask for help on finding the same thing?
-Who made the better decision? As in, which brother seems more reliable? :heh:
-Right now, I'm going to guess and say they are both looking for Kou, just because of the preview for the next episode and Kou in it.

Both searching for the same thing? Masked guy the main villain of the series? His appearance does fit perfectly for the bad guy role. But for some reason I keep thinking that puppet girl could actually be the villain LoL. Calling Ebisu as "Ebisu-chan", tells me that she's on par or even more powerful than him. Also, that cute and friendly look can be deceiving, you never know when she's going to pull an Aizen (*A*);
or maybe.......I'm just thinking too much :eyespin:

The new girl calling Ebisu by such a cute name...I wonder if there are any relations (like her being the younger, but stronger sister).
The mask man can go either way. Serious villain or comical guy.

Kou...you certainly appeals more than Kuu itself, and i'm now deeply in lovel for you more and more >"<
I don't really get his name actually, but from what i heard, they just call him Kai (Shellfish)...he attack Tooru while Tooru was sleeping (same like in episode 1) but this time Tooru was saved by Kou's water slash (Kai said that the fox (aka Kuu) protect him but judging from the water slash that stopping Kai from advancing,i think it was Kou that save Tooru actually).

2 story path for today's episode, not really sure how to explain it in one paragraph..so i'll just make it like this.
1st -
Ogami and Taigoro that stayed on the mountain areas have to move away and find a new place to stay due to human's land invasion and was trying to seek for help from Kuu.After explaining the whole things to Noboru,Tooru, and Kuu (Kou doesn't seem to care much about it :heh:),also after Haruki Takagami (Noboru/Tooru's father) approval,Ogami and Taigoro finally found themselves a new place to stay.
2nd -
Kai,a shellfish demon that Kou defeated happens to have some kind of relation with Mubiyou, the neighborhood land god.It was revealed by Eika and Kouka that Mubiyou was trying to capture Kai because Kai was somehow connected to a treasure known as "Sakasaen" which happens to be an item that Mubiyou trying to find.Mubiyou as a god cannot move according to their likes to other places that is guarded by other gods,so in the end, under the suggestion of Tooru,it was Ogami that sending Kai back to Mubiyou.

ep 7
Zomg lots and lots of cute moments :D
Both Ogami and Taigoro are great characters!
Ogami has a really nice personality and it goes without saying that Taigoro is dam cute, which his pitched squeaks :)
I found the scene hilarous when Kuu walks out revealing the bald patch on her tail (hahaha). Poor Ogami must have felt so threatened ^^
The fight between Kou and the clam was nice too. Dam the perverted clam who touched Kou's butt and made her yelp (good job~).
The fight was actually pretty dramatic compared to previous ones. Kou isn't much of a fighter but she always try her best. But it seems that this clam isn't all that he seems.
The bath scene
And ebisu's perverted dogs coming to ask for the clam. I didn't get a lot of things here so thanks margafred for the outline ;) Though Kou should really protect herself from lecherous eyes >.>
Yay Mubiyou!!
I can't wait for her introduction next ep :)

Correction, the baby is "Daigoro". The parent is "Ogami Ittou".
Umm... It was a decent episode. It wasn't too interesting though. Mostly focused on a fox family who lost their home. In the end, they plan to use the demon, hand it to Mubyou, and get some land for themselves. Kuu and Noboru worked their magic and forces the doggies to give up... :heh:
The fight was pretty fun though. The demon was entertaining, and Kou uses Soy Sauce power.
Lots of Kou for fans of... well, Kou. She fights, works, etc.
There was fanservice, but the only one I even realized was a fanservice shot was when she got out of the bath and you get to see her legs ( :naughty: ).
The bath scene... sorry, I was too focused on her scales to realize it was a fanservice scene.
We couldn't see anything, but I'm sure lucky Daigoro could... Tch.
The new characters...
-Ogami - Mr. All Talk; it was funny watching him panic when the monster attacked him, even though he acts tough before he gets oppressed by something stronger.
Ogami: What did you say?!
*gets attacked*
Ogami: Wahh! Aah!
-Daigoro - ...Just a baby fox, next
-Shellfish - I liked this episode's demon.
1. He gave a funny little element speech. You know, Gyrados's Surf doesn't hurt other water-types much either.
2. He made Kou "kyaa!" by touching her butt. Nice job!
Preview: Scary, scary Mubyou makes her move, ready to find what that demon stole. I guess this was what they were looking for (reference to their profiles).
Bi-polar? Both in the end of the episode and the preview, she looks cheerful one moment... and scary the next.
Lamb-chop?
Ah-ah, I thought the fox couple would disappear for a while now that they have their land, but they seem to still make an appearance.
For now, I shall anticipate Misaki.
I'm not really sure what causes Kuu's tail to become like this...however its funny to watch Ogami's reaction to it.
Wait, you didn't figure it out?
Hint: Ebisu
Hint: Hair
I didn't get a lot of things here so thanks margafred for the outline

Wait, you didn't figure it out?
Hint: Ebisu
Hint: Hair
Thats what i thought in the beginning...Kuu cut quite a big portion of her hair in episode 4 and gave it to Ebisu, but the patch size on her tail doesn't seem to match the amount of hair that she had lost.
Other reason that i could figure out is that, because of Noboru and Tooru that frequently use her tail as a pillow and unconciously pluck the hair on her tail.. :heh:
Well maybe i shouldn't think too much logic in here... :heh:

Late in commenting on this show.
Has steadily gone up the weekly watch list for great VA work [by both the female leads], quirky humour and a show stealing rogue God/store-owner. Love that there is an afterward session to this show. A few extra seconds after the credits to show what's going on behind the scenes [Like those of a manipulative deity "heh:].
Getting hit by a cute bomb in the last ep [Daigoro] has sealed this show as a must watch RAW. Perfect showcase that a home will always be open to wandering men if they produce something cuddly enough.
Episode 6.
I really think this show works wonders when it focuses on rom-com/slice of life, as opposed to action. The characters are just so lovable, and seeing things from Sakura's perspective just pushed the cuteness up another level. Poor Sakura has to put up with Kuu's shenanigans; "You want to take Tenko-san to a cake-buffet again." :heh:
The final scene where Sakura thought she might've fallen for Kuu was priceless. Oh, and Kuu looks great with short hair.

Probably because when she made the bracelet, she didn't cut off much hair, but for Ebisu, she cut off a lot.

Summary:
On the morning of one day in summer vacation, a female named Mubyou appears in front of Tooru. She wants him to search for the sacasaen, stolen by a tanuki demon. Mubyou says the reason she cannot search herself is because of the influence of Kuu's spirit warding, and Tooru, feeling responsibility, asks Kuu to help.
At that time, while Noboru was heading back home, a mysterious person wearing a tanuki mask calls out to him......

ep 6 with Misaki just getting ridiculously paranoid was one of the best 'girl gets paranoid' episodes of anime I've probably ever watched. This show really is so unexpectedly cute and funny, it catches viewers off guard. Now I'm wishing the show was longer than 1 cour. Lots of shows I feel that way about now.

It is longer. 24 episodes.

That's great news. Hoping to see more comedy throughout rather than only dead serious drama even near the end.
Episode 6.
I really think this show works wonders when it focuses on rom-com/slice of life, as opposed to action. The characters are just so lovable, and seeing things from Sakura's perspective just pushed the cuteness up another level.
I agree. I'm glad I stuck with the series ... frankly, I completely yawn in the "action scenes" but the daily life routine from the collision of these wonderfully odd personalities is what makes the show enjoyable for me.
Kou in particular has this wonderful "alien dropped in the regular world" thing going on with some potent latent sensuality.

...Kou in particular has this wonderful "alien dropped in the regular world" thing going on with some potent latent sensuality.I know a lot is in the writing and animation, but I really think Hayami Saori is bringing both those things to the role: some extremely odd diction to create an alien feeling, and "potent latent sensuality" in her voice. I agree wholeheartedly in preferring the slice-of-life aspects of this show to the fighting.

Talking about the fox girl
Idk if you look at the trailer before the show came out another fox girl is shown sitting next to kuu eating on a bench with her so I doubt Momiji is the main fox girl in the op with kuu but I think that girl is a fox too.

Mubiyou came to the town in search for the item Sakasaen, that has the power to reverse the cycle of Gogyo or Five Elements (or so i think she says like that if i got the translation correctly)...Kai told her everything of what happened before, including the fact that he invaded Tooru's dream before. From there she concluded that Kai had actually gave Tooru the Sakasaen during that time..which means that the Sakasaen was actually located inside Tooru's head.
But she can't just take Tooru away without anyone knowing about it since she is wandering around Ebisu's governed area, and it is wrong for her to kill/harm someone on area which she doesn't have any ruling power on it..beside Tooru is still wearing the kumihimo (refer to ep 2) that Kuu gave to him.So her only chance of doing it will be when she and Tooru are standing on the area where she regain her power back (which also means the area that she governed as a land god),and that area happens to be Noboru's school (Akagi high School). So all she need to do is to lure Tooru to that area without Kuu being suspicious of her.But she's not the only one that trying to find the treasure Sakasaen.
So....about today's episode...WHY MY KOU ONLY GET A FEW SECONDS SCREEN TIME...although she appear being dojikko as usual (i like that one)..but still,i need more Kou!And,Ogami manage to get himself a new job thanks to Mubiyou :heh: And i'm not sure if i miss the part where they explain of how the Sakasaen can be at Daigoro (thanks Serenade Beta for correcting me,since i don't really check their names in the official page) neck.Did i miss it?
I'm not sure how to rate Mubiyou's first appearance in today's episode..all i can get from her is an impression that she is cute + weird. :heh: I hope to see more of her in the future episodes.

Hmm, I thought this was a good episode. Mubyou was a strange character (sometimes, not in a good way), and the fight was interesting (with the illusion and tricks). Not a great episode, but it was still enjoyable.
-Tooru sure is trusting. Normally, you would run in the opposite direction if some stranger with two puppets on her hands started suddenly talking to you... Those type of people are dangerous. :heh:
Then again, Fukurou isn't any less suspicious... ( -_-; )
-The chase scene between Fukurou and Noboru was extra funny since Noboru=Nagasumi. :heh:
-Oogami?! He's working at the school now?! :heh:
Well, about the new characters...
Fukurou was didn't get to do much. His only appearance seemed to be chasing Noboru. The tanuki that appeared later... doesn't seem to be Fukurou.
Mubyou... Not sure what to say about her. Well, I guessed right and she is bi-polar... Acting cute and friendly one moment, and pretty creepy the next...
Seems she doesn't have any special abilities except for super physical abilities, like punching craters in the ground... Don't dislike her, but don't really like her either.
Preview: Fukurou makes more of an appearance; Fight between the non-humans, Fukurou uses strings(?), he hypnotizes Kou, a rock slams into his head...

Close.
Mubyou was talking about Gogyou (五行), or better known as Wu Xing, the five elements of traditional Chinese philosophy (wood, fire, earth, metal and water).
I assume the element lessons/fights in this series involves Wu Xing...
And i'm not sure if i miss the part where they explain of how the Sakasaen can be at Daigoro. Did i miss it?
You kind of missed it. The tanuki explained (rather, shouted) that the sakasaen he stole and hid had disappeared. Turns out that Daigoro just happened to find, steal, and wear it.

When i try to find info about Gogyou in Wikipedia,it redirects me straight to Wu Xing page, which also contains the info about the five elements.I know Gogyou and Wu Xing are related to each other, but i can't seem to find the kanji used in today's episode to mark the respective elements. The only page about Gogyou that i manage to find is this one (http://www.geocities.com/caveofthesun/gogyo.htm) which explain abit (although not as detailed as the one in Wiki) the cycle of Gogyou.

Wood=木 (moku)

ep 8
Well I loved this ep :D
If I had to describe Mubyou's personality, I guess I would say that she is a Yandere. All cute and nice only to reveal that deadly side of hers. I cringed when she said that the Sakasaen was inside Tooru's head :uhoh:.
But in all I find both sides of her interesting. She is very cute but very unstable and dangerous (just my type of girl...you have to keep your guard up with her :heh:).
Speaking of cute, Yay Kuu has her hair back! ^^ and her naggy cute monents were done spot on this week. I laughed when she teased Mubyou about her chest side...telling a god that she lacked the necessary component to being a female isn't a bright idea.
The fight wasn't bad either. Much more creative than usual and shows Mubyou's awesomely destructive power (honestly, I do not want to get sucker punched by her :uhoh).
And oogami...good thing he wasn't a traitor O.o
Daigoro is still cute ^^ (I heard the "D" sound this time :heh:).
Needs more Kou, can't wait for next ep ^^
And we still don't know what this Sakasaen thing is. I will laugh it if turns out to be something random and not worth fighting for in the first place. Dibs on it being jewellery
*gives himself a tsukkomi*
Very sorry, I wasn't paying attention and didn't noticed that serenade_beta already posted the name of the seiyuu of Mubyou. :heh:

wow...
love mubyou's voice... she goes to her miyako voice often and and she uses what seems to be her laharl voice for one of her puppets...
and speaking of laharl, is it just me or did i hear one of the disgaea tracks during this episode... during the mubyou's conversation with kuu and noboru at the takagami household after the, sadly very short, kou scene....(maybe it's just me)
not bad, i feel like land god usually got problem, the neighbour land god Mubiyou believe Sakasaen is inside Tooru head, o.O".
Noboru quite fun, when he meet that non human(?), pretend dunno and go away :heh:.
Kuu was done a good job, the reason why Mubiyou don't want to go to pool, :heh:. Kuu also have a good plan to fool Mubiyou, nice fight.

Kou fans get to enjoy the cover. :heh:
The full ED was pretty good (still like the OP better), but it wasn't impressive (EDs like Chain and We'd Get There Someday are better ones). Still pretty peaceful song though, despite the fact they say "daijobu" so many times, I felt like it was going to get burnt into my mind). 8/10, give or take .5
I didn't realize Kou was singing until now...
As for Miracle Way, it was a great song. 9/10
I like the tone of the song, and the lyrics were not as repetitive as the ED. Thinking about it, this isn't the type of song I would listen to continuously though... Sparingly, then OK.
OP still rocks, by the way. :D
Anyways, now about that spoiler-filled cover...
My thoughts on the 8 pics, from left to right | top to bottom
1. Not new, next
2. O_O?! Is this a flashback? The fox looks younger than she appears in the OP...
3. ............... Did Kuu get fat?
4. Noboru is popular, huh... What's that building in the background...?
5. Not new either, pass
6. Just happened, passing traffic
7. Megane-detective is an enemy? Not a demon, it seems, since Kou seems to be binded by Megane's spell/star, which looks like the Wu Xing star...
8. ...*speechless*

ohh thanks. Look like they are moving into the white ghost arc after they deal with the sakesaen arc, which means they are sticking relatively close to the novel and that is a very good things.
And the building in the background on pic 4 looks western. The arcs and support make it look like the inside of a roman building, a church most likely.

Personally, I think the ED is the best of the season. Not so much for the song, really -- although I like it -- but for the amazing skill and artistry of Hayami Saori (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=63462) (Kou).
Like serenade_beta, I was also impressed by Miracle Way, the "b-side." Is that really a 16-year-old? Her voice has range as well as musicality. As for this last episode, it didn't do much for me -- maybe because there wasn't enough Kou, lol.

Personally, I'm not all that attracted to the ED for this series. It isn't bad but it isn't something to jump for imo. On the scale it just scores an average for me (as it sounds quite common).
Hayami Saori can sing but she needs a better song to bring out more of her talent. The ones she did for touka gettan were perfect imo.
As for the 2nd song, another common theme'd one but I probably like it a little better than the main song.
Maaaannnnn, Mubyou was a disappointment.

Well didn't think Noboru had it in him to use a food bill to threaten the guardian dogs :heh:. Sure Kuu was pulling a new rule about seeing Kou's bare legs, but most we've seen Noboru do is cook and freak out. Guess with that guy I'll take whatever positive moments come along. Anyways a nice episode full of Kou moments :D.
She did a good job in the fight when spells weren't an option. Good to poison the guy and eventually take him out. Was going to be turned into dinner, but doubt his new fate is going to be much better.
I just watched episode 7, funniest part was the bare legs joke.
Kuu must be a saint, I wouldn't be so forgiving if someone tried to kill me. ;^^
With all the spirtual goings on, I feel Noboru and Tohru are kind of spare wheels in the story.
Another thing I'm wondering what's the point of Kugen's male form? we hardly ever see him and Kuugen is female anyway.

NooooO! Why did it have to end so soon?! :(
Anyways, it was a great episode. So good, I didn't even realize how much time past until the ED popped up. Hah...
We have action, we have comedy, we have Misaki, that is all I need. Too bad Misaki didn't get much time to make her amazing faces.
Also, big cliffhanger! Fukurou's mask gets broken, revealing HER true face, which looks like Mubyou! Exactly like Mubyou's! :eyespin:
Is the first Mubyou a fake?
Twins?
Tune in next time to find out!
On other notes:
-Fukurou was a pretty funny character. She used a 50 yen to lure Kou to her, but she thought it was a 5 yen coin until Kou mentioned it. She considered her mask to be an owl (where?... :heh: ), and gets depressed when they went "tanuki".
And her weapon of choice is great! Strings! Can't go wrong there.
-Ebisu suffered. :heh:
He pleads the two (Kuu and Fukurou) not to fight, since they were damaging the city. And the last straw was when Fukurou cut the electricity in the city by slashing the wires. Then again, Ebisu himself gave her the idea. :heh:
And then he snaps and starts attacking them, making it a 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 battle.
He actually doesn't get to do much, besides one dark energy blast and throwing a stone on Fukurou's mask (breaking it).
-Kuu was the least significant this episode. After Fukurou pleads the brothers, Kuu and Tooru set off to search for the sakasaen. Kuu uses his and her beauty to convince people to answer if they have seen Mubyou, but no luck. And finally, Fukurou starts ordering Kuu, causing her to snap, starting a fight.
So, yeah, in the end, all of the fighting started thanks to Fukurou. :eyespin::heh:
-Last is Mubyou. Let me first say, Tooru is too defenseless. The girl wanted to kill him one episode ago, yet he can talk to her so easily...
Anyways, Mubyou's main role this episode was wandering around town, doing nothing. There was one moment where she tried to throw away the sakasaen, but NG.
And at the end, she walks up to Tooru, who was hiding while watching the 3-way battle, and asks him (in a very suspicious manner) to help her search for her contacts over there.
What say the chances she plans to take him away somewhere else and do something to him...
Can't be too careful. Mubyou's dark...
In the meantime...
The boys (Noboru and co.) are shooting off fireworks. Boy, was it boring. Yet they got so riled up over it.
On the other side, where Misaki and Kou were sitting, Kou was eating too many chips. After spraying salt on a few drunks, they give her a can of... sake...... and... she... drinks... it... and gets drunk.
Drunk Kou is really :twitch: and :heh::heh::heh::heh::heh::heh:
Drunk Kou for the win! ^o^
Misaki for the win too! <--she gets a fanservice shot in the first half. Yay~
-Ugyaaah! Mubyou's hand puppets turned into beasts!! And got killed by Fukurou right away. :heh: <--happens at the beginning
Preview: Sakasaen turns into a hoola-hoop; Drunk Kou ( :heh: ) air-swims; Finally the end of this arc?!

Ah today i'm late in posting...too much playing TH10.5 Scarlet Weather Rhapsody and didn't even realize that Oinari already aired few hours ago.
Fukurou showing herself out after successfully luring Kou to her using a 50 yen coin.

Fukurou knew Mubiyou got the Sakasaen with her,so Fukurou tried to chase her and although Fukurou's power seems to surpass Mubiyou's power,Mubiyou still manage to run away from Fukurou. It is revealed that Fukurou also is a tochigami (land god) from another area (i think its from Aramaki district...issit?)..Fukurou claimed that Sakasaen belongs to her,and not Mubiyou, and stating that Mubiyou was lying about it.
Tooru felt uneasy about it and asked Kuu to help Fukurou finding Mubiyou.Of course Kuu wanted to reject Fukurou's request, but somehow she was unable to do so because of....... :heh: :heh: So it was Kuu and Tooru helping Fukurou to find Mubiyou. But Kuu whom dislike to be ordered around by Fukurou cannot hold her temper anymore, and straightly attacking Fukurou without any hesitation. And because they were fighting in Ebisu's area... :heh: :heh:
So things started to get heated up,and the fighting scenery between Kuu and Fukurou was good too.But the scene that caught my attention the most is the part where Kou became drunk...she stated that she wanted to follow Noboru because she had a bad feeling about it,although she doesn't know what is it.But i think i understand what was that bad feeling all about :heh: I read someone's blog before about this series, and the blogger commenting about episode 7 and the blogger wonder about Kou's breast...i guess the preview for the next week episode should answer the blogger's question clearly.:heh:
Another thing worth mentioning is Tooru's naiveness...or rather being weak and easily fall for someone's trap.Although i dunno if Fukurou's story was some kind of a trap or not,but surely he believes EVERYTHING that Fukurou said about Mubiyou, just like how he believed in Mubiyou's story too.I admire his spirit to help troubled ppl,but what makes Tooru so naive is that,he just lend his hand to both of them just because the two of them asked for help.He didn't even think thoroughly about the reason behind it,or at least think about the danger ahead of him if he agree to help.Last week he almostly died because of his naiveness, and this week,he without any hesitation agreed to help Fukurou without considering the danger that might putting him again into a near-death experience (keyword = again).I guess the famous phrase "don't make same mistake twice" and "learn from your experience" doesn't really work with Tooru eh... :heh:
Other worth noting points in today's episode is Sakura Misaki...save that point of her being lack in fashion and clothing knowledge, she doesn't even know the meaning of shame, wearing only her underwear while choosing her clothes :heh: Well she did it in her room anyway, but the point here is that, she should at least lock the door,in case his father or brother (if there's any) suddenly open the door without knocking. :heh: She's an interesting character in a way...well,in a funny way to be exact :heh:

ep 9
NANIIIII...way to end in on the cliffhanger...
If Fukurou looks like Mubyou then I am willing to bet that she is the real one (something about an unwritted rule that the 2nd person who looks that same is the original...and it works 90% of the times :p).
But I think the way Mubyou was acting was highly suspicious in the first place. One question that may prove that she is fake is why the heck she is still in the town when she already has her hands on the Sakasaen, as I would think that the real Mubyou would have already returned home (or whatever area she governs).
Another suspicious act is during the scene where she was alone and on the swings...she seems somewhat distant to overhear the happy joys of a child and parent nearby which makes me think her lifespan may be nearing it's end.
Maybe that is why she needed the Sakasaen!?
Anyway the fight this ep was awesome imo. I just loved the painful scream that Ebisu gave out when his land got trashed and the last straw thing with the eletric cables...extremely cliched but I laughted a lot.
Kuu really didn't give a toss that she was destroying the land that she is staying in...even when the god there tells her to stop it!!
kekekekeke ~~
But before that I loved how Kuu used her shapeshifting abilities to try and squeeze out some information from people...bishie more wins!!! :heh: (and I do think that this series is bias towards her female form ).
Then we have Kou...I love drunken Kou :heh:
Awesome ep to the end, I can't wait to see how this concludes ;)

I am thinking they could be twins. I don't think Mubyou could fool Ebisu as they are both Local Land Gods. As for why Mubyou hasn't left. her territory is right next to Ebisu's as evident by Noboru's high being in her territory. So she is actually at home.
When Mubyou was sitting in the swing and overheard the mother and daughter, I am actually thinking the sakasaen is memento of her and Fukuro's mother. That is why she and Fukuro is fighting over it.
and i really want to know what Mubyou's hand looks like.

Twins eh...nice theory...
It could be true if it says somewhere that two gods can govern the same land, right now I have been thinking if Mubyou we see is actually a clone of Fukuro who is about to die (though it doesn't makes sense why Fukuro would need to use a fake alis if that is the case, unless the gods from different areas don't know each other's name even when they are neighbours).
So yea...being twins does make sense but there are a few holes to fill. If the Sakasaen is a momento like you said, why would sisters be fighting over it?
For some reason, I get the feeling that Mubyou is a lonely existance...
And yea, why haven't we seen her hand ever since one of her puppets were lost >.>
Typical Ebisu to be worried about his business

Fixed my post after re-watching again.
God this is so confusing...this gonna take a while for me to fix my post >"<
Watch it just now,but because cannot replay it back and its a really really poor stream, its hard for me to get what they're talking about..just managed to get the rough story for today's episode.
EDIT : Finally managed to watch again and get the whole story this time
- Fukurou introduced herself as someone that has the same face as Mubyou. She explained that Mubyou was a copy that she made for certain reason and still being incomplete...but Mubyou somehow ran away from her and Fukurou now was trying to get her back and retrieve the sakasaen from her.
- The reason why Mubyou ran from Mubyou was because of despite of her love and trust for her master Mubyou,Mubyou doesn't seem to treat her in the way that she hoped. She felt that all the time she was nothing in the eyes of Mubyou and was treated without any gentleness and care.Thats why she stole the sakasaen and try to return back the pain that she felt all this time,by threatening Kuu to kill Mubyou or else she will use the sakasaen to kill Tooru's life.
- Anyway Kuu disagree with her request and told her that she can just kill Tooru away if she wanted. The way Kuu react which reminds the fake Mubyou of the pain she felt when she was under Mubyou, made the fake Mubyou activate the sakasaen, which causes Tooru being engulfed in flames. However Kuu did that in purpose, since she already prepared an anti-spell kumohime which reflects the fire back to the fake Mubyou. The fire burns the fake Mubyou's clothes, which reveals her true form >> except for her head and neck, all her other body parts were in doll forms, which explained why she wear heavy dresses that covers her whole body.
- When Fukurou arrives along with Ebisu,Tooru was shocked to see Fukurou's face resembles like Mubyou.Ebisu then explained that Fukurou is a yuugyo no kami (travelling god),in which if i got the translation right, her job as a god was to retrieve an ungoverned area or any area that doesn't have a god on it...while Mubyou works under Fukurou as a guardian in those areas, more like an acting god in behalf of Fukurou (i think i was wrong about this part...anyone care to fix? >"<)
- I'm failed at translating this part...but Fukurou said that the reason why she had to do that was all for the sake of Mubyou.I can't elaborate the reason longer coz i'm a failure >"<...
- Kou's ryuseimon ran away! Thanks to the alcohol that she drank from the previous episode, the dragon inside her body escaped (or more like running away from her since Kuu explained that the dragon may leave from the body if the host did something that can cause the dragon to become angry) and flew away from her, leaving her running on the street trying to chase the ryuseimon on the sky.Following Kou from behind was Noboru that tried to chase the drunken Kou...of course at the same time,Misaki Sakura also tried to chase Noboru from behind,in attempt to prevent Noboru and Kou from being together... :heh:
- I'm not sure if Kou's ryuseimon didn't return back to her after that night, and even the day after that Kou is still under the effect of the alcohol :heh:...Fukurou gave Kou the sakasaen so that she can use the power to protect Tooru from danger.
- Misaki today somehow pisses me off, instead of trying to help the drunken Kou,she just stop Noboru by blocking his eyes from seeing the half naked Kou (only revealing her upper chest part).
I failed orz...

And so, volume 2 ends... I think.
It was great episode, both comedy and drama. And just like last arc's end, light in atmosphere.
Too bad Misaki didn't get to do much. Cover Noboru's eyes, chase after him, lose sight of him. She does get a "><" moment though.
Yep, I knew it. Mubyou was a doll/puppet. Ever since the beginning of the previous episode, I had a feeling this would be it. Remember? After Fukurou insulted her hand-puppet, Mubyou said something about not underestimating dolls or something about that? That was a great "clue".
Good job, me. *gives self a chip*
Not only that, but Mubyou is a tsundere+yandere puppet. :heh:
Both Mubyou and her puppet were fun, but I guess I liked Mubyou better. Though it seems Mubyou won't be coming back for a looong time, so the puppet will be appearing in the future instead.
I guess the sacasaen will be used in the future.
The Mubyou x Puppet scene was nice. :)
It is very amusing that Kuu was laughing at Fukurou for Mubyou running away, but then she gets shocked the next moment when she learns Tooru was kidnapped (again). Is this... karma? :heh:
*nod*
Drunk Kou really is something. Not only does her voice (pitch) go up, but she gets 100% funnier. It was so cute when she shot the fireworks around her, and in that voice, go "Tamaya~~~" and started air-swimming somewhere.
We even get to see the dragon that is inside her.
And the aftereffects of the sake must have been painful... :heh:
And yep, figures, Ebisu lost a lot of his products. :heh:
Preview: Volume 3? Not sure what will be coming... At least Misaki will be appearing. A cat girl?
When Fukurou arrives along with Ebisu,Tooru was shocked to see Fukurou's face resembles like Mubyou.Ebisu then explained that Fukurou is a yuugyo no kami (travelling god),in which if i got the translation right, her job as a god was to retrieve an ungoverned area or any area that doesn't have a god on it...while Mubyou works under Fukurou as a guardian in those areas, more like an acting god in behalf of Fukurou (i think i was wrong about this part...anyone care to fix? >"<)
More like, Mubyou is a god who owns more than one land, and while Mubyou stays in one land, her puppet would act as a representative and stay in the land Mubyou is not in. Basically, a housekeeper.
And they switch as needed.
I'm failed at translating this part...but Fukurou said that the reason why she had to do that was all for the sake of Mubyou.I can't elaborate the reason longer coz i'm a failure >"<...
Mubyou came to the town just to see if her puppet was safe. That is all she says.
She didn't say anything about the reason she acted the way she did in the past. But it seems the puppet realized that Mubyou did care about her, since Mubyou did what was forbidden and everything and worked so hard just to come here and see her.
No worry, you're no failure.
Misaki today somehow pisses me off, instead of trying to help the drunken Kou,she just stop Noboru by blocking his eyes from seeing the half naked Kou (only revealing her upper chest part).
A maiden-in-love's instinct? To block another girl's body from entering the person she likes's eyes. :heh:

ep 10
Well, margafred is doing better than me at translating at least :heh:
This was a good conclusion to the Mubyou and I guess I was half right. Clone/puppet same thing :p
So skipping past what has already been said, I just like to mention how much I liked the scene between the real Mubyou and puppet Mubyou. They added quite a nice touch to the emotions there with Tsun winning out in the end. Puppet Mubyou crying was moe...then she did it again towards Tooru :heh:
I loved her babish cry ~ "yoshi, yoshi" ~ ^^
But that was smart thinking from Kuu to put and enchantment onto Tooru's bracelet. See? She is smarter than you think :3
And puppet Mubyou will hopefully be another regular to the house :p
Kou on the other hand...I feel sorry for her...especially since her dragon flew out and she was like "whyyyyyyy~~" ;______;
XD
And such a bad hangover...but at least she gets the sakasaen so that is a power upgrade right. Though her moment where she lets her cleavage out was blood incuring O.o
And I agree that Misaki should have helped Kou rather than covering Noboru's eyes ><
Ebisu's end :heh:

good episode.
So the Mubyou land god is the replacement, and the original Mubyou land god also not bad, quite good, although make thing harder. Sweet and heartwarming.
I never thought the Sakasaen will give to kou, that was a really good present, or the god known something will happen next time and they need it?
Kou after drunk is so active, ever the dragon also come out :heh:.
Next episode look like Kuu is going for work? Look forward to the episode.
While this series has not yet been licensed we have received a C&D from Kadokawa Pictures USA, we therefore won't be listing fansubs of this series here on AnimeSuki anymore.
Please note that Kadokawa are acting on the behalf of the Japanese IP owners, Kadokawa Pictures USA themselves do not license such series but act as a master licensor, a middle-man who sells on the license to (typically) American anime companies.
I feel so much safer :P The real nonsense is that they're more worried about the 'backwash' over to Japan's otaku than any licensing here. I'd be more sympathetic if it were the DVD releases being listed (which AS doesn't typically do anyway).

Ranma is a heavy comedy so anything funny is overly used, I enjoyed ranma for wat it was :P
Wagaya no Oinari-sama dosen't really use the male/female forms as a fulcrum of it's humor, they have enough characters, situations and writing to lean on it might pop up now and then but its more lite drama/fantasy action than a comedy.

Well That is atleast somewhat good, because ranma drove me nearly insane, but i like fantasy, and drama, i was hoping for some romance, but it seems that with japan if it contains romance, it has to have some form of comedy...

Well most anime is not "seriously serious" so most have a good bit of wit and humor in it, this is a solid lite fantasy series with a nice bit of humor and drama in it, there is not as much romance as general human relationships which IMO are more realistic and entertaining.

Wahaha, an excellent comedy episode. Seriously, pure comedy, from beginning to end. :heh::heh::heh:
After breaking a window, Kou tries part-time jobs, but keeps on getting fired. In the end, it was no good...
If you like Kou or male Kuu, then this episode is a treat. Kuu stays in male form for a lot of the episode. Kou cosplays in many uniforms!!
Add in Misaki (always welcome  ) and some random Rozen Maiden-like cat girl who's a fan of male Kugen, and the fun doesn't stop!! :heh::heh:
Of course, Misaki gets more appearance than that cat girl. The cat girl really just pops up in the end to ruin another part-time job.
Misaki... recently, anything with Noboru seems to be NG, huh... (-_-) He was busy with Kou this episode, and what was that atmosphere at the end, in the room where Misaki was peeping at...?
Lesson learned is that Kuu and Kou can't do part-time jobs.
It ends up being self-destructive... :heh:
I know this might be Kuu's personality, but she/he should learn to restrain him/herself...
Ebisu really is suffering a lot this episode.
Preview: Traveling with Kou and Kuu... and that annoying old lady... And some evil/possessed doll...
No Misaki...
And what could the meaning be behind Kou on top of Noboru(?)!!?? :uhoh:
Does Kou ever get her dragon blood back or is she doomed to have even less powers than before?

Since that was just a silly comedic moment (I assume you are talking about that chase scene between her and it), it should be safe to say that she got it back.

oh she got it back. she wouldn't even be able to use her powers without it. Though you figure there be a reason why the dragon would book it at the the first chance it get (runing away from a drunken cute miko like Kou should be the last things one do if one is a healthy male lol:p unless the dragon is female or genderless....aii i m going off track again.....). I guess it just didn't like to be imprisoned in a human body.

ep 11
HAHAHA!!
I find myself face palming quite frequently watching this episode but for a good reason...this was just angst to watch :heh: Please...hold them back from working :heh:
You have to feel sorry for Kou though...the poor girl tries hard but she must have butter for her fingers. Just look at her shake carrying that tray which inevitably ended on Noboru's shirt
I loved the end part where she was about to leave and then later reveals that she was only going to go live in a tree XD
Kuu is always wins...from the start when she came into the room after the window was smashed...that scene was golden :D kekekeke ~
Oh I love her male form too and I am glad that we finally get to see more of that. Sexy bishie is sexy
The way he used his charms to get that girl to "buy" out the whole shop kinda thing XD
I can definitely see why there is a whole crowd of girls fangirling over him.
Oh and the cat girl was extremely moe...nyaaaaaa~
Love her gothic lolita outfit! ^^ I hope she returns.
Misaki didn't get much but I enjoyed her funny faces :)
And at the end when she realised she did a bad thing by helping Kou.
Ebisu...OWNED!
lol for ep 11
a very fun episode, Kou decided to go for a work, but I guess she not suitable for housework related thing, I feel sory for her. While Kuu not suitable for work do not like too anoying people. Kuu best part for me is keep on convince the girls to add more on their order, cool, :heh:.
the way Kuu deliver pizza is extremely pro(just like delivery newspaper), :heh:.

In ep11, Hayami Saori was so great as Kou. That voice just gets better and better. She's found the sound and entered the zone. Kano Yui as Misaki was excellent as usual. What a great comic voice. And Miyazaki Ui gave us a brief but intense hit... ... as the cat girl. This ep was so simple, and yet it really hit the right notes with Kou's ineptitude, Misaki's passion, and Kuu's... Kuuness.

Ah but episode 9 was fantastic...Played to the series strengths of daily silliness while making the action not all about blasted elements.Yeah that girl really isn't able to take much. Of course you can expect in the next episode aside from the serious moments, a drunk Kou making a scene. Guess this is as tough of a struggle as Noboru is ever going to face :heh:.
Now of course for those onto episode 11 this is going to seem like an old topic. Have to say though, the second Mubyou turning up has made this very confusing. Is one a fake? Or are we talking about some splitting effect? Either way I'm sure it'll get cleared up eventually. One seemed to have a clear power advantage early in 9 but that doesn't really decide anything.
Either way Tohru decided to put some trust in the Mubyou he does know. Even if looking for a contact was the most obvious lie I've heard in a while.

Really don't drink that much myself so can't say anything there. Just wanting to cover that since I really didn't mean anything in particular there.

Let me just say, the most exciting thing for me this episode was the preview. :heh:
The episode wasn't bad, but compared to previous episodes, it was pretty boring and uninteresting. A peaceful and heartwarming(?) episode. I guess a couple reasons this episode wasn't too good was:
1. It focused on Tooru's stupidity foolishness.
2. The spirit, Zashiki Warashi, just... was that. She looked menacing for a moment, and then she gave up and they all played together like she wanted. Exciting.
3. Very useless, or otherwise, characters no one cares about, like the father, old hag (who thankfully was pretty quiet this episode), and that other guy.
Kuu really has been nothing lately. Just lots of whining and wanting stuff...
Her luck is great though! :heh:
Noboru made a comment he doesn't even have a girlfriend yet...
*points to Misaki* Hurry and realize, boy.
-Poor guy, suffering these episodes... :heh:
A little bit of fanservice for both genders, like Noboru getting to look at Kou's cleavage or top-less male Kuu.
Preview: The excitement begins again!
-The characters introduced earlier (post 331)!
-Kuu comes to school in an uniform (just where did she get that...)
-Momiji
-That other fox!
-Cosplaying Misaki!! <--important
-Some kind of development for Misaki and Noboru...?

Well as mentioned episode 10 cleared everything up.
Ok didn't have Mubyou as being a puppet. Though a puppet with hand puppets is an interesting thing in itself. Problem really coming from Mubyou2 feeling that Mubyou1 didn't care about her. Whole event was just to receive recognition from the person she cared about the most. Could certainly see it when one looks back on the episode where she got the reverse circle back. Really was expecting praise for succeeding and in the end didn't get that. Though not because Mubyou1 didn't care. She got upset because she was worried.
Sadly getting carried away and thus trying to torch Tooru. Though only did it because she was provoked and Kuu knew Tooru would be alright. Obviously having a good chunk of your clothing burned away would be embarrassing for anyone. At least in the end everything was cleared up and Mubyou2 got some real hands.
Kou had a rough night as well. Dragon makes a break for it and so she has to chase after it :heh:. Noboru almost gets his eyes gouged by Misaki rather than let him see what's going on. Drunk Kou is pretty fun to watch I have to say :D. But in the end got the reverse circle which will be a big help for her in the future.

Ahh yes...drunk Kou is so moe :heh:
It's quite funny how moe you find a person doing something completely out of their character and Kou's pain in this episode was enjoyable to watch (not in a twisted way though...I think :heh:).
I want to see more of cry baby Mubyou though but she hasn't shown up since >_<

A lot better than the previous episode.
It was pretty fun. The atmosphere was fairly light, yet at the same time, something bad is brewing in the shadows... AKA, Enju, who seems to be a demon, and some glasses-guy who looks like a bad guy.
Gyokuyou, from the OP, finally appears. He seems to like Kuu...?
Either way, he's pretty different from Kuu in the fact he's considerably polite, compared to Kuu, who has recently done nothing but eat and do whatever she wants. On the other hand, GJ on leaving Noboru alone with Misaki!
Lots of chibi-art this episode, from Misaki's imagination to the preview, as well as ending artwork, etc...
Seems Momiji isn't Gyokuyou after all... Hair color is different and unless he teleported to where Noboru and Misaki were...
She's a stalker~ Run, Noboru! Don't look at her and get red, oi! (Then again, he has already seen her as a "girl", shown from her last appearance where he talked about her when she passed by, which is a position that I have to wonder has what chance to win... | On the other hand, he's as dense as ever with Misaki, maybe a bit less though)
What's this, love triangle? Rival? :eyespin:
Misaki's outfit this episode=:kisskiss:
Momiji looked good too (song was good as well), but supporting Misaki, so... :bash: <--not that I hate her or anything, by the way

Lots of chibi-art this episode, from Misaki's imagination to the preview, as well as ending artwork, etc...
For once i had to admit, when the sponsor credit scene shows Kuu and Tooru in chibi form,i thought they change the whole anime style into chibi style... :heh:
Not like the chibi form was so bad or what...still it fit the cuteness of the story and character well..for example, during the preview part and sponsor credit after the preview showing Kou and Daigoro..well made is the best way to describe it! *thumbs up*
Anyway episode 13 seems to be the start for the new arc i guess....
Seeing Kuugen's old time partner Tenko Gyokuyou (well they don't want to admit the friend relationship that they had :heh:) finally made its appearance, and a new enemy (i guess?) pretending to be a church's sister. Its funny Gyokuyou became another victim of Tooru's nickname, since Tooru think its hard to go for the name "Gyokuyou",he instead just use the first kanji of the name which is Gyoku (玉) which means Tama aka jewel/ball,and use it as a call name for Gyokuyou aka tama-chan (in English it would be ball-chan or jewel-chan :heh:)..so there you have it,another brilliant and genius idea from Tooru :heh:
And as usual,Kou never stop amusing me,not enough with her wrong pronouncing Noboru's father job correctly (basu no untenshu but Kou pronounce it as basho no untensii or something like that xD),she even use her Sakasaen to blow the "ghost" away inside the ghost house :heh: And the face she made when Tama and Kuu were talking about the current situation was epic! The "i'm not interested at all" face she made really makes me fall for her more and more :love:Seems like Tama-chan was mentioning about stuffs related to oni during the chat...not really sure what he's talking about.
As for Noboru and Misaki,Misaki seems to be alot more aggressive ever since epsidoe 10,not enough with the spectacular view of Kuu sitting on Noboru's shoulder, then we have Miyabe staring at Noboru's spot while singing, which made Noboru blushed (and Misaki was jealous + angry of it :heh:)..i think its better for Misaki to find herself a new boyfriend who isn't popular with girls at all (or at least not surrounded by girls all the time),or she can stick to Noboru at the cost of having a heartache (and probably even heart attack too :heh:) whenever she see Noboru hanging around with other girls. And Noboru too,is an airheaded type of guy i must say...didn't even get the hint about Misaki's feeling towards him.
Overall it was good! Not enough with the last week's onsen episode (turn out it isn't as good as what i hope it would be) then this week we have school festival episode, featuring Kuu in school outfit. How i wish Kou can follow the current fashion trend just like Kuu :heh: but i guess i rather like her in Miko outfit anyway :rolleyes:

ep 13
Noboru is hopelessly bad with romance...he already has so many beauties around him yet he "wants more" or rather...isn't grateful at all that that a beauty like Ku sat on his shoulders..."so jealous!" *bites on handkerchief*
I don't know what Misaki sees in him at all...he is pathetic
And I will call Gyokuyou, Tama just because I am like Tooru and can't remember his long name :heh:
Silver fox huh...even though they act like enemies, he seems to like Ku (and Ku being Ku doesn't sense that...I think). But I wonder what will happen if Ku used her male form in front of Tama :p
Kou used Sakasaen! Lol overkill XD
And here comes a new challenger! So what is her agenda for sending out love glares at Noboru :eyebrow:
New character in the form of a nun and at the end we get an oni girl...go on plot! :p
I loved the chibi art too! At the start Ku looked so moe :heh:
This show's getting good, yet can't watch because the subs are slow....

The only series I paid attention to Itou Shizuka's performance were Shana and Blassreiter, that I can recall...it was easy to tell that they were one and the same but I didn't even realize that it was her until the staff roll at the end...I can usually hear similarities between a lot of VA's various dialogues...Toyoguchi Megumi's somewhat nasal tone, Hirohashi Ryo's soft rounded tone, etc but I still can't put Wilhelmina and Momiji's voices together :|

Oh man episode 11 was a lot of fun. Poor Kou just isn't suited to be doing anything other than being a guardian. Feel bad for the girl even though I was laughing a lot during this episode. Nice to seek out some guidance from Misaki. First job was just destined for disaster after seeing her in a kitchen. Don't think the second one was really her fault. More like incompetent management that clearly didn't train her in how to do the job. Toss me in McDonalds and tell me to make something and it probably won't turn out well.
Kuu is the same as usual in this one. Makes use of the male form to really bring in the customers that's for sure. Could just have him greeting people and would bring in plenty of cash. A troublesome fan though, hogging all those pizzas for herself. Though it would have turned out badly anyways since Kuu didn't actually stay long enough to get the money. Kuu of course was loving the fan thing so there you go :heh:.
Thought that Kou was actually planning on going back. Going up a tree certainly put a spin on it :D. Of course still wants to protect them just doing it from a location where she can't do much damage. Though somehow I could see that tree falling onto the house because of her :heh:. Still was a really nice moment with Noboru getting her to stay. Even with the budget nightmares wouldn't want her to go after all.
Bring on the next episode!

The second half arc has finally started..and lotsa characters appeared in today's episode (not that "lot" actually,only 3 of them that i consider as worth to notice,while the others are just those priests shown in the OP).And as usual,highlights for today's episode;
- Kuu learn to use telephone :heh: and the way she put the telephone on her fox ears and then on her ears makes me wonder if she actually has 4 ears with her.And also, she looks cute when she put the phone on her fox ears :heh:
- Tooru received a package from someone that he don't know.and inside the package is a pure white girl with red eyes covered with a bandages (Haruki call her Shiro-chan becoz of her whitey looks). The girl is so attached to Tooru, and doesn't seem to care or listen to other person else than Tooru. And its funny when Noboru asked Kou about the person that deliver package to Tooru,Kou say that the sender was a normal cat-man,which leads Noboru to think that Kou was referring to the worker from Cat's delivery service (or whatever the name is) :heh:
- The next day, when Kou and Noboru walk back home together,Noboru see a weird woman doing somekind of dowsing with 2 L-shaped metal rods, and what attract his attention is that, the woman's big breast. Its funny that although its clear that Noboru himself can see that the woman's breast shaking/moving,he never think of that as something weird. What he really look at is the size of the breast, and he even compared it with Kou's breast :heh: I wonder what will Kou do if she see Noboru staring at her chest..even if Noboru is the head of Mizuchi clan,i'm sure Kou will give some kind of punishment to Noboru for being a pervert :heh:
- Misaki's plan to go back home together with Noboru failed...and she think that Noboru actually being mean to her by going back home first, leaving her alone. But actually, its because of Noboru being kidnapped by the priests from the Church.Seems like the Church want to get their hand on Shiro-chan too,but seeing that there's no way for them to do that, their only chance is by conducting a trade...and the trade is Noboru that they kidnapped for Shiro-chan,and Kuugen had no choice but to accept the deal. Also, the oni-sister from the previous episode hide her oni horn by forming her hair into dumpling shape..just like Sailormoon's Usagi Tsukino hairstyle, and it really fits her look well.. :heh:
- And also, the way the priests kidnap Noboru is somewhat funny too.Using the old love confession technique (putting a love letter inside the shoe box),and using Miyabe Momiji's name to get his attention, that plan to lure Noboru out and kidnap him works successfully :heh: Well i won't blame him for being stupid, since it was Miyabe's name that was written inside the letter,so its obvious any guys from Noboru's school will fall for it. :heh:
- No preview :( Just Tooru narrating something about Shiro-chan but it gives too little info about next week's episode.Oh well..have to wait until Serenade Beta post the preview from the website.

Was originally keeping my eye out for the initial airing 14 weeks ago since it seemed interesting, but never thought it'd end up being at the top of my list of spring series to watch. One of the rare gems where even the filler episodes are a delight to watch and the plot episodes have a really solid mix of comedy and plot progression to them...this week being no exception.
Props to ZEXCS for a really entertaining adaptation they've done thus far :)
one caveat...though this is more of a CV thing than anything else...i don't think Kugimiya Rie's acting outside of shana/zero is really that great...Tsukuyomi wasn't an exception to this, unfortunately...seemed a little too forced :|

And the remaining characters from the OP have finally all appeared!! Good episode (of course, for that is Wagaya quality), and things start to go back to the "supernatural" department after a few peaceful episodes.
Thinking about it, Mubyou hasn't appeared lately...
---
Misaki... orz
-To Noboru
You, me, behind the gym. Care to explain why you decided to go to Momiji first?
( #`Д´)
Then again, he received what he deserved, since if he didn't follow the letter, he wouldn't have been caught. Ahahahaha!
--
Hmm... Lots of mysterious things going on.
Who sent Shiro to the house? What is she? And such...
Might as well guess two things for now...
Q: Why was Shiro sent to the Takagami house?
A: Takagami-Papa ordered her, that lolicon!
Q: Why does Shiro only react to Tooru?
A: Because Tooru is the flag collector boy! Everything unhuman just love him.
---
The cat deliveryman... was scary. :uhoh:
Tsukuyomi, the future reader... Wonder if no one else can see him, since no one except Tooru reacted. I think his voice fitted, though I completely forgot Kugimiya voiced him...
Personally, I wish Bekira won't make too many more appearances, since whenever she walks, her big breasts bounce... ( -_-)
The church group... For an "evil" group, they sure were funny during the scene where they attempted to capture Noboru. Or maybe that was the individual characters' fault... :heh:
Enju was scary... Better not harm Noboru, or Kuu really might turn them to ashes...
For an episode titles making a phone call, it really wasn't so focused on. Feh...
There was fanservice this episode!! Of Takagami-Papa... Σ(;゚Д゚)
Can't forget Shiro... Yep, white hair+red eyes really seems to be a common combination in anime, huh...
Misaki... orz
The bakabakabaka part at the end was cute, hai~ ( ^ω^)

The US title for this series as announced by Kadokawa USA (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2008-07-05/kadokawa-usa-announces-six-new-anime) is going to be Coo ~ Our Guardian.

Anyway i don't really have any interest in it,not only they change the whole things and makes the anime look craps than the original JP version, but also the VA used for English version never manage to bring the characteristics of the characters well...even if its dual audio release, but still i rather get my hands on the original JP version.
maybe for them, they thought that "Coo ~ Our Guardian" was much more better
than "Coo-Coo ~ Our Guardian".

Not quite. They have the rights but they are middlemen, subcontracting the production and distribution to a third party.
Episode 11. This was everything I love about the show, and then some. Funny, cute and entertaining as hell. As much as I love the female version, some male Kuu screentime is wholeheartedly welcomed. This episode was simply hilarious, which reinforces my belief that this series is at its best when it focuses on slice of life and comedy. I think the characters alone are strong enough to carry the show, without any underlying plot.
Two big thumbs up for this show.
Episode 11:
I was getting Binbou Shimai Monogatari vibes every time Noboru worries about money. Nice to see Binbou's trademark "pose" near the beginning of this episode. :)

comment on EP 10 - Does anyone else feel that Tooru deserves to burn to death in that episode? I was practically rooting for kuu when she bought up the remark on how he was stupid enough to follow someone like her, and this wasnt the first time he did something like this. Granted he is in elementary school but doesnt every parents teach you not to follow psychotic strangers especially when every demon out there wants to eat you for your delicious powers? This senseless kindness will lead to his death in the future anyways :/
I certainly wasn't "rooting" at what Kuu said--I already knew she was bluffing; she adores the kid--but I understand where you're coming from. Mubyou the puppet has tried to kill Tooru a total of three times at the end of ep. 10, and he still remains on friendly terms with her. It's not even that I totally dislike his kindness, it's that because of it, Mubyou was allowed to "get off the hook" with trying to kill him.
I don't know if she has any additional role to play in the series, but I really don't like her and have no sympathy for her.

You got a good point, Mubyou deserves a sever punishment because she did try to kill him in cold blood without the knowledge that he had the reflect spell charm. Instead, she gets praised by her master and gets new hands in return. :frustrated:

ep 14
Shiro chan is loveeeeeeee
Silver hair + red eyes...auto win (not mentioning her being a loli to boot).
But I think another piece of common sense has flown out of the window when throughout the whole episode and even now, Shiro is still in her bondage rags. Why aren't they giving her a change of clothes or even taking the bandage off from her mouth so she can eat/drink/speak.
A "DUH!?" moment?
No matter, she is still cute...and her crying face ;_____;
Tsukuyomi is voiced by K Rie!? O.O
I couldn't tell at all...yet another strange character though...
But not as strange as the big breasted chick from the church (?).
So what will happen to Noboru then...Kuu will get very mad if he is harmed in any way :uhoh:
Interestingly...Noboru was captured in the most classic of ways...and the sack appeared to be sound proof too :heh:

The story continues, with Kuu trying to search for Noboru whom got kidnapped in the previous episode. It was revealed that Shiro-chan was actually belongs to the oni clans, whom Kuu referred to as the powerless and traveler's clan, since they don't really have a land of their own.
When asked,Enju replied that the reason why she kidnapped Noboru was because of Kuu took "byakki" away from them. They need Byakki's power to regain back their oni's power since only byakki can revive back their king to lead the oni's clan. But because of the byakki was sent to Takagami Tooru and not them, they thought it was Kuu that causes it.
At first Kuu doesn't know who is this "byakki" that Enju was talking about, but after Noboru explain that the byakki is actually Shiro-chan,then only Kuu understand the whole things. Kuu in the end agree to return back byakki to them since they can't keep something which is not belong to them inside the house forever.Tooru with heavy heart, had to let Enju take Shiro-chan away from him.Even during sleeping,Tooru dreamed of Shiro-chan calling his name
Tsukuyomi that saw the whole things from his magic mirror, says that even if the oni managed to retrieve byakki back, they won't be able to use its power to accomplish their mission, because only the first person that Shiro-chan saw when she opened her eyes for the first time had the power to do that, which means....more troubles for Tooru. :heh:
So about today's episode
- Kou trying to use her purification salt on the laundry...i'm not really sure why but,i think so that the laundry can dry faster? :heh:
- Kuu's male form dominating the whole episode today.Well he did it for a reason, and thats because Enju didn't know that Kuugen has 2 forms (she only saw Kuu's female side on the previous episode).
- Well from the outer appearance,Kuu's male form sure looks tough and serious in the beginning, but that only lasts until he reached the Church bazaar's area, where he saw a biscuits being sell for 100 yen.:heh:
- The special spell barrier used on the walls inside the house to lock Noboru from escaping, according to Enju,is a spell that she bought online from the Dark Market. And when Kuu stated that the onis doesn't have anything with them,Enju replied that even if they don't possess anything, they at least can still have internet for them to use. :heh:
- Shiro-chan is...   the komainu that Kuu asked to take care of Tooru, never even thought in their single mind about the strangeness of the girl beside Tooru.. :heh:
Shiro-chan finally wakes up..

Yes, the internet...it solves all problems including baldness
Great episode too with much more male kuu than ever before (and I thought he would be shafted).
So Shiro chan turns out to be a tool in reviving the oni king so that is why the oni servents kidnapped Noboru to get back at Kuu...
Margafred has already covered most of what I want to say though so just read his post.
But I will just say that the slip up between Shiro and Tooru was rather sad...I don't think Shiro even knows what has happened so she just smiled. Poor Tooru ;____;

As always, a great episode. There were a few moments that broke the mood even though it was intentional, but other than that, no complaints.
-Imprinting... Guess that explains why Shiro didn't react to anyone else, what a troublesome quality. Tooru really gets too involved with spirits...
-Tsukuyomi and Bekira... what are they going to do? Or nothing at all and just watch? Tsukuyomi seems to be the leader of whatever Bekira is part of too.
And they say that someone stole it (Shiro) from them...
-The little flashback of the brothers' pasts was pretty nice. I guess by the end, Shiro will come back to the family to stay?
-Mubyou... has sure settled down. Mah, too bad her only appearance was getting used by Kuu to open the door.
-All powerful internet. It was a funny thing that the powerless onis have to resort to the internet, but it was a mood braker, really...
If the internet really was that powerful, maybe it should do something about the rising gas prices, tch.
-Eh? How and why did she awaken?... Anyways, Shiro speaaaaaks!!Σ(;゚Д゚)
-Last thing, but Enju really ended up being a bit annoying this episode, especially during the part with the car. Byakki this, Byakki that, Kugen did it, Kugen did that, give it back, blah blah blah uruseee! (*゚ー゚)
Preview: The preview reminded me king kong vs godzilla actually
Me too...
They need Byakki's power to regain back their oni's power since only byakki can revive back their king to lead the oni's clan.
Actually, I think she was saying Byakki=King, not Byakki revives their king...

He really didn't say all of that, but I believe that's what he means.

Well get an introduction to Tama-chan, man that Tooru is great for easy names :D. Even though she can be trouble this does to go show how much more responsible Kuu has become. Not willing to slack the guard on Tooru to go treasure hunting. Though I think Noboru might be for it since it'd help with the family finances :heh:. Man that guy needs to be less responsible and have some fun.
Guy has had some busy last couple of episodes at least in regards to the girls. Nice view of Kou's chest last episode, Kuu on his shoulders, date(?) with Misaki, and Miyabe's look at Noboru. Somehow I figure he's going to be getting into trouble eventually :heh:. Miyabe and that Nun give me a weird feeling that something bad is coming. Whenever people talk to Tooru it usually means he's in for it and really how many normal girls gather around Noboru? Considering her interesting mental images I'd almost put Misaki into the strange territory as well.
Episode 14 should be interesting.

Well, two reasons why I assumed that are:
1) in the OP there is a silhouette behind her of someone with ears--I guessed a wolf or another fox spirit.
2) in an early episode there was a scene where she was observing the gang and smiled knowlingly. I figured it meant that she was already aware of Tooru and Noboru's "special" situation, and I assumed that it was because she was a spirit herself.
As for the fake label, I initially thought it meant the spoilers were false, but then I assumed that the label itself was a joke. I just didn't see any reason for him to make it up.

Um... What happened to the Godzilla vs. King Kong...?
In many ways, this episode was awesome.
Some great parts for me:
-Noboru with glasses! So he usually wears contacts... Anyways, kawaiii~~
-Misaki's usual behavior and delusions are as cute as ever! :kisskiss:
-Momiji saying he smelled good... :twitch::uhoh: Now then, *makes a call to the mental hospital*
-Noboru, slowly collecting his harem. Misaki, Momiji, and now he's working on Kou... :uhoh: (Talking about the part where he made her blush/smile around the 16:30 mark)
GJ, Noboru!
-Awakened Shiro is great... The old Shiro was cute (I guess, but didn't really find her that likable), but this new one tops the old one in many categories, not only being cute, but pretty cool too! Even coming with a life absorber!
It seems the wrappings are what Shiro uses to absorb life energy? Since the oni fainted upon contact.
Tooru... :uhoh:
There was also a bit of fanservice this episode, with Enju's underwear and female Gyokuyou's legs.
Those oni really are weak...
And Tsukuyomi continues to be a mystery (and Bekira too). Seems they met Kuu before...
In the meantime, I'm kind of hoping Kuu really does get to scorch those onis to ashes...
And so last episode's preview for this episode was a fake... Well done. :heh:
Now then, time to go outside and see if the shadow thing (look at shadow then look at sun and you will see your shadow) works...
Gyaaah, my eyes!

I was hoping to see some Godzilla vs King Kong action in today's episode...seems like the last week's preview really tricked us all :heh:
It has been a week since Shiro-chan was taken away by Enju..and now Shiro-chan has awaken, revealing her real face and a part of her body, which has some kind of unique mark/scars on it.Defeating all the onis and Enju by sapping up their power,Shiro-chan ran to the outside world, and finding her way back to Tooru. And Enju being the leader of the onis, must get Shiro-chan back no matter what, since only Shiro-chan can help her regaining back her power as the king of oni..but seeing the current situation between the onis and Shiro -chan,it gonna takes more than an effort to bring her back.
And highlight for today's episode.
- Ok..screw that last week's preview...to be honest,i really believed in last week's preview =.+'' so when today's show didn't have any of those scenes shown in the last week's preview,i was totally oy-z ...
- Kou is daydreaming about Noboru praising her cooking. It was a funny dream actually, with Noboru connecting Kou with salt, and causes Kou to awake from her dream.Even in her dream, she really hoped that Noboru will let her do the cooking again...and when Noboru ask her to help him doing the cooking, she show her smiling face in front of Noboru...which somehow makes Noboru wonder, because ever since the series start, she always appear in front of Noboru with serious face. :heh:
- Also,i'm pretty sure that the laundry basket used to collect all the dry clothes is made of plastic, but somehow it breaks into pieces when Kou throw it to the wall as if the basket is made of clay (usually wood made basket won't really break up like that).
- Misaki,as usual, never stop to amuse me with her imagination. When Noboru said "which one should i pick.." while looking at his handphone,Misaki thought that Noboru is acting as a playboy, choosing between Kou and Kuu to be her date mate. And when Noboru made his decision and say "ok..i'll just go for both..",which lead to Misaki thinking that Noboru is planning to date them both at the same time, she suddenly becomes angry and scold Noboru for being such jerk.In real,Noboru was looking at the super sale list from his handphone, and he doesn't want to let anyone know about it.In the end,Misaki is just making fool of herself :heh:
- Another Misaki funny scene, where Miyabe meet her and ask if Noboru had a girlfriend or not. After silencing for few seconds (well that question surely kills her),she finally answered that Noboru don't have any...when Misaki ask why she is so interested with Noboru,Miyabe replied that Noboru smells so "delicious" (more like meaning "attractive" there :heh:).Not being able to understand what Miyabe said,Misaki assume that Miyabe was actually referring to Noboru's body pheromone that came out from his body, which causes him to attract girls around him (in her imagination,Kou and Kuu and Miyabe are among those who're attracted by Noboru's pheromone). :heh: However Misaki quickly denies that it was because of Noboru's body pheromone that causes her to become attracted to him,by saying that she is attracted to Noboru because of his kindness :heh:
- I also want Shiro-chan to rub her cheek onto my cheek >w<
- Tama-chan (aka Gyoukuyou) lying on a tree branch wondering why Kuu still wanted to stay with the Takagamis despite of all the troublesome things around Kuu.And her female form sure looks "delicious" to me.

Now it is a fight for Shiro chan. The preview doesn't look good for tooru though, and I suspect that Shiro chan isn't fully willing either.
And the silver fox shows up again but in female form!?!

I think Momiji is planning on eating Noboru... literally..
I find it fascinating that I keep watching this series despite it leaning heavily into the "monster of the week" syndrome. The fight scenes continue to leave me "heading to the kitchen for a sandwich" but I do like watching the character interplay.
Someone on Omni's blog rumored Momiji may be Gyokuyou in disguise.
I really hope that isn't true. :frustrated:

Gyaahh! The preview was fake after all!! >_>
To be frank, it wasn't that great of an episode, since it was a "super explanation" episode, where lots of talking happen, but the plot doesn't really move on, since throughout the whole episode, the onis are still trying to capture Tooru.
Luckily, I found the video on nicodouga (though in exchange, I missed ZnT...), so I remained fairly entertained.
As expected, Tsukuyomi is annoying, yes...
At least they finally reveal that he is a god, and Bekira is his doctor and has quit being human. Some more on Shiro as well, and it is revealed that Tsukuyomi is the one who sealed Kuu...
I wonder if Mubyou will stay around for the climax...
Also, the oni guy who knows Gyokuyou... Surprisingly, Gyokuyou didn't get any appearance, and instead, we have some internet product that looks like a zombie with a big mouth.
Finally, someone comments on Shiro's name. GJ, Misaki.
Noboru is still wearing glasses~ :)
Kou is... trying to find Tooru with a stick.
And finally, at the end, Enju finds Tooru and Shiro.
Preview: Not going to be tricked this time~~!

Okay I have to say...
ep 17
Just what the hell are they doing with the fake previews? I fail to see the funny side of it tbh. First we are copped out of out godzilla vs king kong match and now they also copped us on a sacrifice scene...
Something tells me they had one storyline on the drawing board but just decided to switch it for a more boring one during each week -___-
Geez...
But I didn't not like this episode...it was just disappointing to see the cat and mouse game still going.
Some interesting stuff though...like the guy being revealed to be the one who sealed Kuu...and how the heck did she forget about it :uhoh:
Shiro chan! She is sooo cute ^_^
And I won't be fooled into thinking that she will be going away by the preview! Burn!

17's the only ep i can recall thus far, except maybe ep1, that was a little too serious in nature. not to say it was a bad ep, but for a series that's been a very good balance of comedic antics and seriousness, it was a little out of character...still it was good to learn about some background information on a number of characters.

I really like all of the characters on this series. However, I am tired of waiting for the English subtitles to come out. :(
Gentle note: complaining about fansub release schedules can be a bannable offense on the AS forums.
People who create fansubs do it as a hobby and they usually have jobs, classwork, and real life to contend with. Its remarkable that fansubs come out weekly rather than once a month ... and sometimes it can be several months between releases.
Patience and having-other-things-to-do is the antidote though ... no argument one can spin in circles hoping for the next fix of an episode.

I'm not complaining. My apologies if my post is a little bit offensive. In fact, I do appreciate their work greatly. Without them, I wouldn't be able to enjoy watching those series. :)
I also help them by giving out donations.
It's just that I should have taken Japanese lessons instead of Chinese. In that way, I can be able to watch the raws without any problems. I'm too preoccupied with work so I can't study anymore. Reality is indeed harsh. :(

A new ED will be used starting episode 19.
Title: Shiawase no Kotodama (シアワセの言霊)
Sung by Kuu, Kou, and Gyokuyou
It seems to be an ED where "cute" deformed characters dance and sing...

So caught up to episode 14.
Looks like denying being the Mizuchi's head didn't help this time. But man talk about a bad day. You go with the high hopes of a cute girl wanting to meet with you and you get some guy who then proceeds to kidnap you. How depressing.
Can't blame Kuu for the capture of Noboru. Since every time something has happened the target has been Tooru. Not that they want Noboru in particular just as a hostage to get Shiro-chan. Since it was pretty obvious that the tattoo girl they were after was Shiro, just with that charm completely wrapping her up no way you could see them.
Time to go to the rescue! Don't mess with the people Kuu is out to protect or your going to get burned.[/Spoiler]

I agree with that feeling. The "daily life" aspects of the series are really more interesting and entertaining to me than any "battle boss of the week" or "series climax" -- so I'm not wringing my hands if those things don't really pan out.

Well glad the subs are really getting closer now. But somehow I felt disappointed at the end of this one. Was expecting a good fight to rescue Noboru, but in the end just handed him off without much fuss. Sure got a bit with that fire enemy, but a quick collapse of the ceiling ended that rather fast. Though the series most entertaining times have been interactions with the characters rather than battles.
Kuu had to hit the nail on the head though :heh:. Though really they could have kidnapped him at any time. There is really no security put around Noboru except when he's at home. Whether he was lured by a note that he thought was from a girl or not its sloppy protection as well.
Still nice to see Mubyou get a minute of air time :). Enjoyed having her around though doesn't seem like she will have much to do with this one.
Kind of feel for Tohru. Built up a connection with Shiro and she's just handed off. Sadly that's how it went down and one person will just have to deal with that. Kuu made the call though I would have rather had the Oni taken down :heh:.
Would say the preview sounds exciting but....With the talk of fake previews and missing epic battle scenes. I don't have great expectations there.

Uwaah! Kugimiya Rie! :eyespin:
Congratulations, Bekira and Tsukyomi, for being the most unlikable characters in this anime (arc character-wise)~! ......
Spoiler, the animation gets great at times.
Spoiler, if you watch this episode, you'll get to see a mini-skirt miko-san.
Shirooooooooooo!!
Excellent. Compared to last week, this was a great episode and it ended nicely (not result-wise though...).
And the animation during Kuu vs. Monster was high quality.
And we are slowly going into the next, and possibly final, arc, with the introduction/participation of Gyokuyou and the master of the monocle familiar.
Who would have thought, Shiro's voice actor was Kugimiya! :eyespin:
I don't think it's a great match, but it wasn't really a mismatch either.
Shiro proves she can do a lot more than jumping around with fireball throwing, even though it seems she blew herself up. :uhoh:
And now, she has been sealed again.
As always, Noboru is pretty much left out of much... :heh:
Kou doesn't get much appearance either, only taking out the monster (demon?) with Sakasaen and fighting Bekira (almost entirely off-screen). Also, instead of using Sakasaen to reverse the elements, she uses it as a chakram... :heh:
Tooru... :(
Though I really wish Noboru will take back that comment on first love not coming true... It's too horrible for Misaki...
Bekira and Tsukuyomi...
They don't need to make any reappearances, seriously. Not a single likable characteristic.
Oh, and for those who care, Bekira's big breasts are fake and she's actually flat.
And ending the episode (before ED) is a confrontation between Kuu and the mini-skirt miko-san female Gyokuyou!
The epilogue... While it was a good way to end the arc, I couldn't help laugh at what Enju was saying.
Preview: Yeah... Whatever... Give us something real.

I must admit that I didn't like this arc much but the end was quite touching. Poor Tooru indeed.
So out of no choice Shiro had to be put to sleep again to prevent her from dying...
That is one tough zombie she fought if I had ever seen one...but it felt quite cheap how Kou just came busting in to take it out with the Sakasaen (and wtf was it being used as a frisbee XD).
Bekira's implants made me ROFL...and face palm at the same time. But by the end if this I still don't get her and Tsukuyomi's role...*shurgs* whatever.
The little scene between Kuu and Gyokuyou was also quite interesting. If I didn't catch wrong Kuu told Tooru that Gyokuyou is her sibling?

A very enjoyable episode, and a good change in mood from the previous episode. Little plot insignificance, but a great comedy episode.
And witch-cosplay Misaki=
Hurry and marry already!! >_<
As always, Noboru gets to have normal interactions while Tooru always gets to interact with spiritual things. :heh:
And as expected of him, he's already trying to attract lolis into his harem. :uhoh::heh::eyespin:
Lucky him~...
Turns out the preview from last week was partially right... It really was about a poverty god (or however you wish to translate it)... It was pretty funny and cute (the interaction, not the actual god, who looks rather creepy).
The internet is as amazing as always...
The new ED...
Of course, any movement makes this ED better in animation compared to the previous ED. :heh:
I prefer the first ED's song, but this is better to watch.
Surprisingly, they used the novel art for most of the animation...

Been busy lately, and i missed the previous 2 episodes >"<
Bimbogami (God of poverty) is attacking Ebisu's governed area, which causes the ppl arnd the area becoming poor, and more importantly, affecting Ebisu's shop income since no more ppl coming and buying things from his shop :heh: In order to solve the problem,Ebisu called all the yokai around his area to help him find the bimbogami, while at the same time rewarding them with a prize of 100k money.
Everyone started to hype up due to the amount of money that Ebisu offered, and quickly make their moves to find the Bimbogami. In the end its Noboru that manage to get the Bimbogami, and Ebisu rewarded him with the promised 100k money, but not 100k yen...its 100k Dong (Vietnam currency --> 100,000 Vietnamese Dong = 673.798 Japanese Yen) :heh: That's a smart trick that Ebisu pulled out there, and i can't stop rofling watching the whole scenes. :heh:
And highlight for today's episode
- The bimbogami owned not only Ebisu but also Kuu.. :heh:
- Because today's episode takes place during Hallowen day (i think?),Sakura Misaki dressed herself up as a witch...wearing a witchy like dress, along with the witch broom..and more importantly, the skirt that she wear is short enough to make me fall for her  And as usual, her imagination as always never failed to make me laugh :heh:
http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/5026/sakuraxv6.gif
- On one scene where Kou and Tooru saw Ogami with his fox face (only his face, his other body part is still in human form) and Tooru telling him that he might scared other ppl with his face,Ogami replied that it is fine (since its a Hallowen day,and everyone dressing like a demon/youkai)...until one guy saw Ogami's smling face and..... :heh:

http://img377.imageshack.us/img377/4748/ogami3xg8.jpg
http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/1531/ogami4nr8.jpg
- The source where Ebisu got his info about Bimbogami is from the god's private network community, similar to 2ch and 4chan.. :heh:
- Kou's face when trying to look for Bimbogami among the kids is just too cute
- There are many type of youkais in today's episode...one of it is a dog youkai with the ability to call the other dogs around the area to help him,and then there's a spider youkai, cat youkai, pig youkai...:heh: All of them were chasing Ogami, whom they thought to be the Bimbogami.
Also they changed the ED theme for today's episode to something more catchy, with Kuu,Kou and Tama-chan as the main star for the ED.I kinda like the song, and the whole ED scenes, just that i feel like its a bit late for them to change the ED for a 24 eps anime isn't it?Usually for a 24 eps anime,ED theme may change somewhere between episode 13-15,to denote a change in the series or just for the sake of changing it,but for Oinari to change its ED theme on the 19th episode is just weird to me :eyespin:

The thing with Ebisu and his money is always such fun and outrageous though and is that Misaki looking especially cute in this episode? :p
Noboru still doesn't have a clue
The new end has its charms too. I really like the art style even though I know I shouldn't (looking somewhat on the LQ side but the style reminds me of something retro). Cute moments for everyone all around ^^

Small gap between previous episode post and this week's post...
...What anime am I watching again...? :heh:
Anyways...
On one side, it was a good episode, being entertaining and everything, but it lacked a little on the fact that only Kuu and Noboru really get any appearance time...
Either way, the whole stereotypical detective thing with Kuu was pretty amusing. At least, compared to the previous hot spring episode, it was a lot more fun. And from start to finish, the mood and pace was bright/fast (and a little scary).
Though I doubt any of this episode's characters will ever make an appearance again...
A bit of fanservice, with Kuu in the hot spring and Kuu sleeping. And also one scene of that Glasses putting his hands on Noboru's shoulders...... :uhoh:
Poor Glasses... :heh:
Guess his life isn't like Noboru's, huh...
Noboru=Loli killer (=harem 10 years later); Misaki; Momiji
Glasses=Two girls saying he has no sense, money, etc...
Preview: ...Recently, the previews have been half-right...

ep 20
Lol, detective Kuu
Yea, this was a nice episode and quite hilarious to see how Kuu was able to stumble onto the truth like that (more or less besides the accusation at the end) all blind.
A bit of deja vu when she did win the onsen prize which had me rolling my eyes a bit at the start but it was a good outcome. The lack of service is a drag which should have been the norm for an "onsen" ep. Kuu didn't show nearly enough skin :heh:
Interestingly even with Kuu sleeping like that we didn't see Noboru blush once. Has he no sense of male desires? or has he finally reached enlightenment with being around beautiful girls at a regular basis
Late but I'll post it anyway.

I'm such a fanboy. There's Kou in a bikini right in front of me and the first thing I go looking for on the scan is Misaki.
Someone should call a cop. Kou stole the show.

EHHH?! When did Misaki become Hime...? :heh: Thinking back, why did she remind me of Hime...? Because I thought the fire hydrant was a chainsaw for a moment...? Eh...?
As far as material goes, it was pretty packed (in a good way), and pretty interesting. We are finally going into the final arc? Though we still have Gyokuyou to do...
First, we have Momiji, who are inviting people to her house, and as expected (how many didn't expect it...), she's up to something... supernatural, since it seems Noboru's friend was controlled by her? Is she that golden werewolf from the beginning?
Either way, be careful, Noboru... :twitch:
Next, we have Bekira reappearing, hunting the werewolves..., it seems?
And last, we have Misaki!!!
Who once again got to be the main character for quite a bit of the episode!
-Getting depressed over Momiji+Noboru... :( Try your best, Misaki! Most of us are rooting for you~!
-She didn't really make any delusions this episode, but her strange facial reactions still get to appear. Yappa kawaii ne, Sakura~!
-Her action scene against the werewolf...! (Almost choked...) :twitch:
Umm... Wow...
-And the wonderful ending scene! If only Noboru stopped only blushing at Momiji and noticed something or another, it would have been even better.
-The family is in disaster... money-wise... :heh:
Kou? She gets a little ear-cleaning scene, and that's all. :heh:
-Hmm~, both brothers have their little harems...........
Preview: Party time at Momiji's?
Shoo-shoo! Disappear, Momiji! Noboru-IS-Sakura'S! Kishaaaa!!

A great video for Misaki fans (collection of her appearances throughout episodes)~
