She seems to play a bigger role instead of being a stupid clown thing that acts like a filler to fix a mistake... I prefer her anime version's green hair. Her horn ornaments look bigger...

You can't really play this game unless you can understand Japanese. I have it for DS and I don't like the game. The style is EXACTLY the same as Ps2 game.

Did anyone or anything (website, magazine, whatever) give you an impression that it wasn't a port of the PS2 game? :confused: I thought it was pretty obvious myself. I mean, they added some "extras" but I don't think they ever said it was going to be different.

Hmm... Battle system is slightly different. I just rushed through a few times to see what kind of extras they put in. Just a ton of pictures and sprites. Of shana and Yoshida.

I haven't read this whole thread yet, But does anyone know if the Ps2 Version Of the video game is coming out in the U.S., Or is it only going to stay in Japan? I know this question has been asked before... Please someone answer...

Yes, you'll need an adapter. I forgot how it works, though.

Eh, do you? My Nintendo DS is manufactured in Hong Kong (I think, or was it China, well, whatever) and it can play both Japanese games (like Shakugan no Shana DS) and English games (I lent it to my friend who played the North American version of Final Fantasy III on it) just fine.

i have heard of that... i havent really heard of a ps2 that can play japenese games excpet once but i think the ps2 was made in japan

Oh, sorry, I missed the bit about the "PS2". I thought we were talking about the NDS here. :heh: I can't say I've ever tried running any North American games on my Japanese PS2.

And as an aside, I agree with what was already suggested - that PS2 game won't ever get translated, I'm afraid.
