Racing Anime

Okey I need some anime that has racing, kinda like Inital D and Monkey Turn V. Preferably motorsports, but any kind of racing will do, heck even running.

In Oh My Goddess (the first and new series) the main character races motorcycles and it's a major part of the story.

Suzuka does a few 100m sprint racing scenes but I wouldn't really call it an racing anime.

Immortal Grand Prix or IGPX is pretty good. Oh yah Cyber Formula was awesome for 1998, even before 1998.

Those are my recommendations.

Wangan Midnight though up-to-date it has 8 episodes, according to Anime News Network. In subs, it is subbed up to episode 2...sadly.

Second Cyber Formula, it's really good show imo. Though the TV series is not good as the OVA one, so I would just skip the TV and watch the OVA. I think you won't have trouble understanding the story even if you do skip the TV series.
