View Full Version : Looking for...
Basically, anything Claymore like. Total action, little to no silly episodes, and a fast moving plot (although Claymore did seem a little rushed. >.<). Preferably something with swords, and some Human Vs Human (or whatever the main character is) action.
Thanks!
I think you'll like BLEACH.
Specially from chapter 14. It's all action and batlles and swords from there. I couldn't stop from there untill chapter 63.
Its a very very good serie of Anime
Take a look to my web for more info on Bleach an other Animes:

Good luck on your search
I though of Busou Renkin (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4516) as a somewhat good paced anime
Rurouni Kenshin - Samurai Action
It's 95 episode long, but I think it's generally well paced and I don't remember many filler eps (I watched it like 9 years ago so my memory is foggy) but it has TONS of sword x sword action

I second Busou Renkin.
Scryed (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=47) - action/fantasy. Certainly not lacking on the action part.
Black Blood Brothers (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4416) might be a good bet. Action/Fantasy
Blood+ (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=3186) might work out very nicely for you. Action/Adventure/Fantasy
Mai-HiME (http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=1554) perhaps. Action/Fantasy/bit of romance

I second Bleach, up to episode 63. I second Rurouni Kenshin, up to episode 62, after which you should watch the OVA, Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal.

Samurai Champloo : Great story, great characters, great swordplay. From the man who brought you Cowboy Bebop...'nuff said.
Full Metal Alchemist : Solid story, great characters and every episode builds on the previous one.
Berserk : So much potential (sigh), unfortunately it ended before the story really began. PS: don't bother watching the last episode.
Thanks everyone.
A lot of the anime that was suggested I've already heard of/seen, been told they were great, etc. This gave me the extra push to go out and actually see them now.
Thanks again!
