It's Battle B-Daman.
I almost spat my drink out when I saw it... Because I knew where it came from, but couldn't remember it's name. I searched and found it...
I thought it was weird because the b-daman butler is so tall.
The character the butler is suppose to be parodying is really short.
Reiko Takagi did the voice acting, which means we can expect Masako Nozawa next week and Shinichi Watanabe in the week after.
This ep has some of the craziest jokes so far, awesome :)
The Cheney bit was already incredible, but... wait till you see what she does with Ten no Koe ^_^
That was one of the best episodes of the series by far. The small subtitles at the beginning, almost every time the narrator spoke, the fourth wall being completely demolished, "Cheney", and Nagi accusing the narrator of being the murderer. That was excellent. I haven't laughed that much since...last week.
10/10 based on the Rule of Funny.

I enjoyed it like every episode of HnG. I thought the jokes were a bit far out there (as I didn't get some of them), but that was fixed with some good old fashioned fan-service.
I heard from somewhere that HnG was getting its budget slashed because of problems with funding. I wonder what that'll mean for the rest of HnG.

Oh God, I was thinking "Cheney" when Tama was shot. Lo and behold! It was Cheney! I laughed way too hard. I wonder how much North American news gets over to Japan and parodied as much as we do.
Anyway, for the weekly battles we've gotten Yu-Gi-Oh and Battle Bedamon (sp?). Who wants to bet Pokemon's up next? :) I choose you! Tama!
You know they say the person least suspected is the murderer... and it is the last person to expect! The narrator!
Great ep, though others might dislike the random jumps.
Made me laugh, so it gets a thumbs up from me.

That was so completely random, but was it ever funny. The "revelation" at the end about the origin of the suspense story was hilarious.
Nagi is certainly creative...especially when she has no sleep.

What was the reference when Katsura-sensei started her video recording and she appeared to be on the bridge of a starship of some kind?
I'm pretty sure the next reference was to "Galaxy Railways" and I know the final reference in the video tape was to the most-excellent "Lupin III" movie, "Castle of Cagliostro."
Other than the "Detective Conan" obvious references (which I've never seen) and the "Sherlock Holmes" references, I don't think I recognized any others.

Hinagiku looked good this episode. Well, she always does. +1 for screentime. There were plenty of hilarious moments in the episode, Klaus will just do anything for some screentime, won't he? :heh:
This week's Butler Network was one of the funniest I've seen thus far. I might just add some of those to the favorite quotes thread. A duo with Tama... *laughs*

How about Yukiji surfing back from the dead and ruining Nagi's screenplay. "You're playing a corpse so don't come back from the dead".

Galaxy Express 999 - The tape playing the shot of Yukiji inside a train cabin going somewhere in space.
Battle B-Daman - Match with the second of the Mysterious Butler Warriors.
Never had thought about it before, but we were truly treated with fanservicey shots. Maria's still hot, but Yukiji comes second close.
BTW, celebrating Halloween in Japan?!:twitch: Good try Nishizawa but that wouldn't work out quite well.
Reference: Did anyone notice that Nishizawa's ghost mask quite resembled Casper the friendly ghost?:uhoh:

Tama getting shot, Maria fanservice, and Yukiji being the honorary corpse were the funny bits. I almost said, "wait, did I watch episode 29?" because of the strange opening.
Most everything else was absolutely horrible, though.

I thought it was interesting that the Japanese addressed him as "Doyle-sensei." I know they address all authors as that, but addressing a western author with the sensei honorific was pretty neat.

I laughed because I was remembering Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-ohki (where the narrator was the voice of Kagato) and all the girls wear towels as is normal for anime but Ryoko refuses to do so. :D

Well today's show was average, a bit dissapointing and the random jumps don't do the anime justice.. Several funny moments in this ep but not as good as last week's.. The only plus side to this ep is that we a ver foggy fanservice shot of Hinagiku..

Gets a 10 for Maria fanservice..... Tama getting shot was just hilarious and then the dieing message.... Cheney, which is stupid because cheney couldn't hit the quail that they brought (yeah he brought the birds) which means if he was aiming at Tama he really should have shot Klaus. But tama is still hilarious.
"Trick or treat-o" - classic..... I never did think of if they have holloween in Japan... so pretty much no.... only people looking to mooch candy.....
Katsura-sensei being dragged across the floor holding her robe together and yelling "wait...it'll show ...gentler...no,stop" while she is kicking with her free leg is hilarious.....
and Nagi didn't even to hide behind the drugged Hayate. You can clearly see her from the front with the Conan bow-tie. Speaking of which did anyway get the point of why everything was polka dots? I don't know if that is meant for anything other than just polka dots.
Hina as the culprit was great but The blond shana had to ruin it... >_<
I wanted to see Hina get cuffed.
To ask anyone who speaks Japanese, I am curious.... the narrator said Ore-chi when he was accused... wouldn't that loosely translate to 'little me?' ? Eclipse just put 'me?' but i remembered in black cat the little girl was called Hime-chi by '13'. It would have be funnier if he did say 'little me'

This misleads the police into thinking the victim is one of the gypsies that were camping near the house at the time.
Strangling is something that Nagi invented, probably because she didn't pay that much attention to the story and never found out the real ending.
The octopus and elephant are serious WTFs. I also think I've seen both of them before but can't recall where.

And in case you want to know the ending Sherlock beats the snake which pisses it off, and it goes back to his room and bites him, killing him. Actually there's an error in the sotry, he uses a whistle to get the snake back to his room after an attempt to kill, but snakes can't hear.

I didnt find this episode too bad usually i dont anyway. But seriously the Chaney shooting Tama in the face thing almost made me piss my self. LOL i would love to send a copy of this episode to him with note.
Dear Mr. Vice President youre such a Douch even the japanese made fun of you in a anime. I think you have real problem with your aim STOP SHOOTING PEOPLE AND ANIMALS IN THE FACE. Btw Mr. Vice President Japan is on the other side of the planet its a island country and no you can not attack them for making fun of you. Everyone makes fun of you it a normal routine just like taking a piss in the morning. Again NO you can not use the justification that animators are terroist and attack Japan.:p

I want a 24 hour service dedicated to either Maria fanservice, or Tama and his nonsensical adventures.... I'd even allow for Hayate cameo's if they do go the 'Maria endng' route.

Vote for Hinagiku, Best Moe Tournament~
Today, Hinagiku is up against Tamaki to join Shana in the Best Moe Tournament finals. If Hinagiku wins this, there's a good chance, she'll win all of Best Moe and she'll be officially recognized as the most moe of 2007. Fortunately, Best Moe is much easier to vote than Saimoe. It'll only take few minutes to get your code and vote, so please take a few minutes to spare, please vote for Hinagiku. Also, if you have a few friends who are willing to vote for her, whether they're online or real friends, then all the better. Every vote counts, especially since Best Moe Tournament results end with ridiculously close numbers. Last but not least, uploading an image of Hina only takes a few minutes and will help sway some of the voters who are still undecided for who they want to vote for.

How to vote in Korean Best Moe Tournament.
1. Enter the official site here (http://moet.anizone.net/index.php?lang=eng) <-- Click
2. Download the Auth Code Generator located below the "Korean Best Moe" banner for Windows or Linux depending upon your operating system.
3. Open the Auth Code generator and generate a code from it.
4. Copy the code which was generated into the Auth code Log-in box located on main page of Korean Best Moe site.
5. Once in, click on "Voting Place" located on top middle of site.
6. There you will see the current matches of today. Click 'Vote' for each character group you plan on voting for that day, which would be Hinagiku, of course.
7. That's it, you're done. Just for reference, you can check the "Match Table" located to the left of "Voting Place" for past and up and coming matches of the current round. Also, you can check for the results of previous rounds by clicking on the "Result of prev rounds" located below "voting place."

Oh, no. It really looked like what Ayumu was wearing. It was some manufactured plastic thing. I think it was bought from Safeway.
Fortunately, Best Moe is much easier to vote than Saimoe.
Unless you're using a Mac or don't have all the right packages installed in Linux. :(
They could have at least provided the source so I could hack a version that works. (And no, it's not more secure this way.)

Not a very impressive episode.
I know the show likes to break the fourth wall, but this is a bit too much really...
Making it blatantly obvious the situation isn't 'real' from the start somehow dislodged me from my "I'm watching the familiar world of Hayate no Gotoku" mindset, and as a result I couldn't really enjoy the characters' random antics.
The detective Conan spoof was sort of funny at least.
Unfortunately the preview for the next episode doesn't look that interesting (and the preview for this episode did!)

after watching again i think i noticed the Death Note scene transitions...... Katsura -sensei is growing on me.... I can't even think of another anime character to compare her to.... hmm....

If it was a tie, Hinagiku wins anyways because she had more tie breaker points. You get full points if you get first. In the early rounds, Shana didn't get first twice whereas Hinagiku always got first.

Seriously if you cant take a joke or have no sense of humor then you probably should just stop watching Hayate all together till you get one. Even if it were political, it is funny too! After all, Hata Kenjiro is Kumeta Kouji's (author of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei) student.
