It's kinda hard to convince people after the events of the anime that this will be all hunky-donky. Sailor Moon for adults? :uhoh:

My speculation:
Kokoro will use her magical powers to bring back Sekai and Makoto.
Makoto will sleep with Kokoro as a thank you present.
Kotonoha will kill Makoto.

This news actually surprised me when I first found out about it. I mean after what everyone has experienced about the ending for School Days, I guess they just want to erase that feeling and create a spinoff with a "magical" title to it.
Since all of the cast members will be "revived" and come back for this OVA, I wonder how it will play out...who will be the bad guy and such...
Even though School Days has ended in a very murderous note, I don't feel like looking forward to watching this spinoff...although its about Kokoro-chan, Kotonoha's little sister, but still...

Kokoro will be a Magical Girl who fights for the world's (Japan's?) good. Then, Kokoro will found another girl (Kyon's imouto LOL) who's by the dark side. Kokoro will say "Please stop doing this!" and then Kyon's imouto will throw a lot of bubbles with Taisuke-form. Kokoro-chan notices that Kyon's imouto is only a marionette who's being controled by Taisuke (The very, very bad guy), then she cuts the cable that's the conexion of Taisuke to Kyon's Imouto. Kokoro punchs Taisuke, but Taisuke punchs Kokoro too, and Kokoro faints. Taisuke tried to do "weird things" to Kokoro, but Kotonoha appears and fight with Taisuke...
It'll continue...
Here is some better infor about it:
School Days is getting a Kokoro-chan OVA DVD to be released next year. This was originally an April Fool’s Day project by 0verflow (see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6XX7Vzbpj4,) and from that clip alone, I was on the floor laughing. I had expected the School Days series to be done for now unless they were planning on animating Summer Days, but I’m very intrigued by this, especially if they’re going to be using all the characters in a magical girl setting. The release date is in late March 2008 (right before April Fool’s Day), and MOON PHASE is reporting that it’ll be out March 26th, though Sofmap’s listing indicates a release on the 28th. In any case, it might be something to look forward to.
Now this is SERIOUS. This is real.

But for some reason I'm not as shocked about the announcement of this OVA.
For me, any other anime making an OVA like this probably would have left me confused and bewildered.
But then I realized, this is School Days.
This could be interesting. I'm hoping this will be good.

After watching the Valentine Days OVA, I'm really looking forward to this OVA. Also, after the first OVA I wouldn't be surprised now if Makoto is not a villain in this OVA. Anyways, can't wait.

Anyway the episode was full of crazy fun. Yea...there's nothing much to explain (as it can't be explained) but the story follows "just another one of those days" in a world full of evil.
Setsuna is the bad guy in armor. She turns everyone into ecchi zombies using her ero gas and our hero (magical kokoro) has to stop her at all costs.
Makoto grew some balls and put himself at risk to save Kokoro but in the end Kotonoha surprised everyone by turning into magical warld (I can't spell her name :heh:).
Hilarious final end where Kotonoha and Kokoro combines their mecha! And from what I can see it is powered by their chests :uhoh:

That has to be one of the weirdest 25 minutes that I spent in my entire anime career. This show rivals Puni Puni Poemi for its sheer randomness and fanservice, which is no mean feat.
But who cares. It's fun and self-satirizing. And I love Kotonoha and appreciate any scene where she can appear. Plus Kokoro is uber-cute and moe. Even Makoto has become barely tolerable. What's not to like?

I kinda liked how Setsuna tried to explain the roles of heroine (something that the staff of this OVA must have been doing) and villain, but Kokoro ruined it by getting confused. Also, Makoto kinda had his manga personality instead of the anime personality. I.E.: Being nice and helpful. This type of random nonsense is far too annoying for me, despite it having fan service.

I was actually surprised at how much I liked this. It was a lot funnier than I expected and the used . . . well they didn't use the anime version of Makato. You got to love how nobody(Taisuke, Makato) was able to figure out the radish girls' identities even though their (except for Sekai) head gear were blown off. Added to Makato's realisation at the end(all he say was added ribbons in her hair, the only difference).
Seriously, there needs to be more of the OVA

I don't know why, but the whole magical girl genre worked for me in this OVA. I love how in the end of the OVA, everyone is just at the restaurant, getting along with each other as if nothing happened. A lot of laughs and a lot of fan service for me. Always a good thing.
I definitely would love to see a complete series devoted to Magical Heart. It definitely could work well.
I really like the use of him trying to figure out what to do, so he won't end up in a pool of blood. He was having flashbacks of Sekai's death, while his head was in a bag.

This OVA failed beyond recognition. School Days wasn't met to be a clone of Power Rangers or even Musumet.

I have to say Makoto is very philosophical in this OVA. He is much better than the TV show Makoto. He has taught us all a lesson in the beginning and the end. The ending was the best part of Makoto. He risked his own life to save Kokoro. I say we can all learn a lesson from the OVA version of Makoto Ito.

We can also learn form the TV Makoto. Don't cheat on your girlfriend... with 7 other girls.
But really, the Makoto from this Kokoro-chan OVA is definitely a hell of a lot better than the TV Makoto. Imagine if everyone just got along in the end like at the end of this OVA.
