Help in finding 'Meremanoid.'

Perhaps a fansub group can help me find the anime TV show series Meremanoid.
It came out in 1997 and ran about 24 or 26 episodes. About a race of mers that live under the sea. Oh, it might also be know as Mermanoid. The only thing I did find
was the music soundtrack to the series.

Looks quite interesting. It appears to be an LD & VHS only release and 24 episodes if I read right. I wish I had known about it sooner myself. Unfortently, I just blew all my money (and then some) on other LDs.

Thanks for the lead. Maybe others will have other leads to the series. This is one hard series to track down!

Well, the raw LDs are there on one of the auction if someone wants to pick them up. Heck, if noone does, I might yank a bid myself even though Ill be paying for them for half of next year... I would really like to see what the heck it is:)

There also appears to be a game (PS2 I think) of it.

This was shown almost the same time as berserk anime.
Alas, i never saw a fansub of this anime, even a VHS fansub.

Not true. I buy alot from Yahoo japan auctions myself. You'll just have to pay a little bit more by going through a proxy such as jigsco or rinkya. Youll usually be looking at around $10 interjapan shipping * $5 bank fees + $?? agent fees + international shipping. Ive been eyeing the LDs myself out of curiousity for a while but held off in hopes of something I really want would finally show up.
