I tend to think like 6 hours before the airing (So that I see the thread before I sleep, watch the subs that my friends make in the morning, and comment on Animesuki at around noon)

Pretty well paced epsiode, only complain is that the drawing quality has gone down again...there are scenes where the sholders are drawn way too wide, for Okonogi, Ooishi and Takano.

Most of the scenes were kept intact, except the Takano vs Irie talk at the shrine. The Ooishi vs Ootaka scene at the police station was done well. I dunno if all they going to do for Locomotive Tomi is the C Part, I sure hope they feature him again next epsiode.

ahh now we see how takano's plan is being smashed piece by piece...isnt it just great to see everyone working together like this ^^ ooishi is awesome! he has completely grown on me as a character in this season :3

so takano is being left in the dust after he plans have been crushed...yet she will not give up...its going to get interesting to see what happens next ~ will she go for the mass eradication method just to prove herself? :O

Yeah, "Suigintou" was awesome. I'll need the subs to know exactly what was being said, but that tone of voice was beautifully evil.

It's not a joke; it's the name of the extension. You download the .MKV raw and the .ass sub, then rename them so they have the same name and play the .MKV video...

The name is not a joke; it stands for "Advanced SSA", while SSA stands for "Sub Station Alpha".

Indeed! But it really was hilarious having him crush the car. If this wasn't a series where bad things and death happen I'd almost find Tomitake rushing those guys funny. First he smashes the car now he'll beat them. But really I'm worried about the guy. He's been taken out in so many worlds I just hope he makes it through.

Gotta give Ooishi a ton of credit. Once he put himself behind this he's really gone all the way. Cracking some jokes and showing what he's capable of when serious.

For some reason having way too much fun watching Takano flip out. If there wasn't a preventive medication I'd almost expect her to start going L5 at some point near the end. Now that'd be poetic justice :D.

Nice to have the Gin voice that laugh is pure gold. But now things are at a pretty serious stage. They do know Takano's plan to a point where there wasn't this level of interference. Now it'll come down to how she moves from here on out. It's a dangerous battle everyone is taking part of so let's just hope.

I'm surprised the car didn't implode when Tomitake landed on it. It was strange looking.

This episode was pretty good, I gave it an 8/10. It just didn't quite have the spark that the last episode did, but continued laying the groundwork for what I'm sure will be an awesome grand finale...

I think the next one would probably be more action packed seeing the preview. This one had a lot of good moments, but it was more wordy, not that I mind (just means that I'll need subs to enjoy it, but I watch the subs when they come out for every ep anyway)

And thanks for the sub .ass file link. I'll get to that later. On a little off-topic sidenote, I do think the file type has a rather interesting abbreviation :heh:

This finally arc is far to epic to handle --- first we see Oishi in TOP FORM, and now Tomitake.. just wow. First his 'car jump' was one thing, though that battle scream then run, what a guy.

BTW this chapter made me love the characters: Ooishi, Tomitake, Akasaka, Irie etc even more then I used to. :pAnd ohh and Tomitake is so cool! I am so sad its nearly coming to an end but i still have the visual novel and drama CD's to play too :D

Jirou is like a terminator in this episode. Would had a better chance if he had just ran away instead of fighting with 5 people. The preview = dangerous T.T shouldnt have watched it

Jirou rushing 5 people is brave but foolish act imo.
Though he's in better situation now, since he listened to Rika.

If Tomitake had not listened to Rika, it would be him trapped by those 5 men in a closed room.
Now, that's a tougher situation than facing those 5 men in an open alley.
