Hello Yet Again!!

Lol... i'm really bad at setting titles huh? :D
anyway here's my latest attempt at drawing..... hope u guys like it! :)

i haven't given him/her a gender yet..... lol... coz all small kids look the same when they'r young yeah? :p

and i've redrawn the hand like a million times... but it alway comes out wrong :(
anyone can teach me the art of drawing hands? :D

oh yeah... the rims u see at the top of the drawing is the side of my sketch book... juz in case u guys were wondering..... lol... :D

Yeah, you are, but you're pretty good at drawing. Nice picture you got going there.

My advice is to try to remember that your fingers are made of stiff bones which only bend (hopefully!) at the joints. This should help you keep your fingers from getting all blobby. The index looks great, the middle finger a little less so, but passable. However, the ring and pinky look like deflating balloons. Try to convey the bone structure underneath when drawing them. Also, Those bottom too fingers are spaces way to far apart. Move them closer together (upwards on the hand) and they should look better. The side of the hand on the bottom is much longer in reality than what you've drawn. Take a look at your own hand in that pose. That and the correct angle of the line which makes up the lower side of the hand will help parts of the hand recede into space.

Very nice everywhere else though. I especially like your handling of the cloth and hair.

I'd like if the nose would be a bit more to the left. Hair is great.. and the hand isn't bad at all, a lot better than the hands I draw.

Well, on the bright side, Nei didn't have a gender until the very last episode. :p

at any rate, excellent work. I think you did a great job with the hands.

the reason why i didn't give it a gender is coz i think nei is SUPPOSE to be female...
but when my drawing came out.. it turned out that it looked more male instead...

I try my best. As far as nei goes,

you're right, she did turn out to be female. However, throughout the series until she actually GAINED her gender, she was unisex. :p
