Could you recommend me a comedy that's as funny as Muteki Kanban Musume?

As title. Been looking for a while now, but nothing I found yet has split the sides as much as Muteki Kanban Musume. Are there any perhaps older anime that is similar, as in a 'pure' comedy? Not a show that is half melodrama/half comedy.

Other than sayonara zetsubou sensei you may want to try out Hayate no Gotoku. Its a pure comedy series with a tinge of romance.

try seto no hanayome. there's a bit of romance but almost all of them are infused with cracked up comedy

trust me, sayonara zetsubou sensei and seto no hanayome are one of the funniest in '07

Yeah watched through sayonara zetsubou sensei, ouran, minamike and seto already. All cracking series as well. Saw one episode of Hayate no Gotoku but didn't think too much of the first episode, but would try to soldier on. Tried Full Metal Panic but I didn't find it funny at all, it was more of a mecha anime?

Any more suggestions?
