I'd suggest Monster...It's got nothing to do with a note with superpowers, but it does have a good storyline to follow.
But it's hard to compare something to Death Note, so specifying what you liked about this serie so much might be helpfull for other people to give more suggestions

Death Note is similar to Monster, Higurashi, Elfen Lied (which of course you've seen, since you have a Lucy avatar), and the manga Mirai Nikki... and perhaps Parasyte. In different ways for each, of course.
It is a bit like Code Geass too, but that has mecha.
It's also a little similar to Darker than Black, which also has a lot of very selfish murder-happy people with special powers. Well, actually, I guess every series I mentioned has major characters that kill anyone who gets in their way using special powers... and all series are dark and somewhat mysterious. Except Code Geass, which is not really very dark or mysterious, but the main character is a lot like Light.
Already watched Monster, higurashi, code geass (even if i don't like mecha i liked everything else about it) and yeah.. elfen lied. Will check out the other suggestions. Thanks a lot :D
Wolf's rain seemed pretty boring (only saw the two first episodes), same with darker than black and fate stay night. So i'm checking out Spiral right now.

You might try out Full Metal Alchemist, Wolf's rain, Fate stay night
These are often recommended series simply because they are good.

These hardly pertain to the current topic at all, but:
Hardly anyone recommends Fullmetal Alchemist, even in threads asking for action series, unless it specifically asks for something with more similarity to Fullmetal Alchemist, like longer series, sciencey/steampunk series, etc. It's really just an overrated series that receives very mixed reviews, and I personally didn't dislike it, but thought it was nowhere near what I expected it to be, what with its amazingly large fanbase (I guess there's a reason its one of the overpopular series outside of Japan.).
And fewer people have heard of Wolf's Rain (much less seen it) than Fullmetal Alchemist, and from reviews and ratings, it apparently isn't nearly as good as Bones' later FMA.
Fate/Stay Night is an good series, one that merits recognition, but is also one of the visual novel adaptations that many agree should receive a remake (after Tsukihime, apparently.)
All-in-all, this post looks like it was pretty much a shameless dump of random series you liked, as only Fate/Stay Night of the three is recommended mildly often in this forum.

See above for Wolf's Rain.
I also think that though it's not really similar, people who enjoy Death Note will probably enjoy Monster.

Yeah, there's really nothing remotely close to Death Note but Code Geass, im my opinion.
Code Geass is only similar to Death Note in terms of the protagonist, but that's more than enough to recommend it. Though you said no mecha, the mecha in Code Geass is really only a plot device to make the combat more interesting.
I'd also suggest Spiral as the protagonist also uses his intelligence to solve cases such as murder.
