It's like 5am PST at where I live and I was feeling restless 3hrs earlier, so I decided to create a KGNE wallpaper. Hope you guys like and please critique it too so I can change it for the better. Now I'm off to bed...zzzzzzzzzZZZzz

I'd like to point out something in your picture.

Firstly, if you look at the grid, you will notice that the squares are not synced (look at the lower border for example, it doesnt end with the edge of the square but a few mm over it, same with the higher border).
The text is like a kick in the face! ^^, Try to download some new fonts (or if you have a good array, try to test different fonts and different shapes). A good site for fonts is 1001 free fonts (http://www.1001freefonts.com/) (MANY popups, shame on them).

I noticed that both the picture in the lower right corner and the flower are rather pixxelly. There is no real way to fix it (I think). Try a flower site maybe.. ^^;

As for the background for the grid, try a combination of a picture (a view of some natural places, a city, etc..)+new colored layer+some opacity, the gadient looks good on the superior/inferior edge, but its quite plain in the middle.

The kanji looks good, the cutting work is done quite well.

not liking the font.. i think it's unnecessary to write the sentence "friends forever" letter by letter. How about something that symbolize "forever"?

The orchirds in the BG looks...pretty..but the one on the top left...reminds me of the sakura water colour paint i used to have...at worse resolution..

I dont see anythin wrong with the font in either but i like the sakura blossoms in the revised version they look really nice

Yeah, I had a feeling like the text doesn't quite fit in however I didn't know what to use as a symbolization of friendship. As for the Sakura pic on the upper left, it was already at that poor quality when I cut it out.

I agree, it is pretty indeed. The colours just snaps together nicely. But IMO it doesn't need letters to express the thought.

So, what we got here? 2 pretty girls of different attitudes, and they're together forever, right? So? The different Sakuras represent them both. The placement of both sakuras (together and overlaping) represents a bond. Now, how do we tie in the concept of "forever"? the answer is very simple, and doesn't even need a single letter to express it. Mugen = infinity

Besides, he's asking to be criticized, so critics he's getting..

A couple of people have been pm asking for the wallpaper so I decided to repost it. Oh yeah, I finally worked up the courage to submit my wallpaper to Animewallpapers.com so I edited my it yet again and this is final version, I promise! :heh: I hope they will accept my wallpaper.

I don't wanna sound like an ass but I've had that wallpaper on my comp for about 3 months allready. I used it as a background for 2 weeks or so when KGNE was still running. I got it from some guys personal site, so either you made this a long time ago or your taking credit for something that's not yours... :nono:

If I am by chance wrong feel free to correct me i'll apologise then ...

I think that was my second or third revised version of my wallpaper, but the one I posted again is the final one. If you don't believe then ask Flash_Squirrel since he's always reviewing my wallpapers.

I don't think you have to worry about them accepting or not, they are fools if they don't
It looks friggen wicked. i love the flowers in blocks and the picture looks great.

He did it.. He even got the PSD so he was able to fix the mistakes.

I don't think he stole it or even copied it. You probably have a different version. o.O
