Well the end sucks because there is no conclusion :) Still it is a great series. I started watching it randomly and i had no idea what the hell it is about. I got hooked from the first episode. If they finish things off with another special or something then it's all good. Back in 2003 i also started playing Go because of this ;) Reached 9 Kyu (KGS rating) then stopped.
One of my favourite series for sure.

I am planning on rewatching this series one more time XD. I want to buy the dvds. It's a shame that Cartoon Network never aired any of the episodes on cable, only on stream :(.

I'm rewatching this series atm, and it just brings back the excitement from all those years ago.
I deem this anime of the decade.

The OPs and EDs are the best. Today's songs used in the animes are just horrible compared to back then. Too much of that pop/rock/hip-hop, whatever it is.

Too bad they didn't give it a proper end though.

And did Mitani's sister have a name?
