I checked the ADV manga website and noticed that they only have vol1 planned all the way till April. Is this manga only one volume?? Is ADV quitting on it? Or are they planning to make more? Any info would be nice, thank you

The listing of Happy Lesson "books" is a bit confusing on Amazon Japan:

But if I read that right volume 2 was released on 27/10/2003 -- in Japan.

ADV closed their Manga department a LONG time ago.

They release stuff every now and then but if you look at the website (the cheapest thing to keep up), it was last updated Nov 2004.

So yup ADV Manga is dead. Even though they release stuff.

the happy lesson manga is actually well done. if you liked the TV show u will most definately find the manga refreshing.

There is only 2 volumes for Happy Lesson and that's it.

According to the catalog that has every title owned be Dengeki Comics the people who own Happy Lesson as of 07/05 there was only 2 volumes. Then the last official manga by Dengeki I bought in 12/05 didn't even have it listed anymore.

My guess is that it wasn't that popular in the manga form. The anime did really well and so did the game but I read the first volume I wasn't impressed the story and art work sucked.

If you look at it volume 1 came out in 01/03 and volume 2 10/03 nearlly a year later. It's been over 2 years and still no volume 3 so I bet you the author etc. moved on or flat out quit.
