Falcom's ys series is really great. I wish they would bring their games to the UK, especially the new PC ones.

The Nihon Falcom Corporation ( http://www.falcom.com ) is a japanese game company. Their Y's (http://www.falcom.com/ys6/index.html) series of action/RPGs is well-known.

well, best bet is getting the original online and then using that translation
buut...knowing importers, you are gonna pay something like 1.5x the amount it retails for....plus shipping

or if you are in japan, pick em up

Wow........this looks like......wow. I want to play it!!!!! Damnit, even though I've been studying Japanese for over 3 years I still can't read all of that. It looks like an epic game though. Life is so unfair :sad:

If its doing well in Japan... I wonder why they don't translate it and send them over here to sell... I think lots of people would go for it.. *cough me cough*
Their site is awesome!... Now I just wish I could understand what was written on it... but the screenshots are cooool lookin'!

i got a copy of the first and second game
so far...
nothing outstanding
more of an action-ish puzzle type game where you kinda run around and kill stuff
boss fights are pretty much finding the boss' pattern and killing him that way

a few annoyances...like...being able to only carry one of each type of item - one potion, etc
and that girl you rescue early into the game walks SO STINKIN SLOW!
