episode from gainax?

i know that different studios work on each episode to keep up with the continuous episode a week schedule, so when i noticed gainax in the ending credits to episode 56 i assumed that gainax did that episode...

anyone know if this assumption is correct, and if gainax has done any previous episodes?

Morethan likely were responsible for some filler animation, but I'm somewhat doubting the entire studio would take complete control.

So it's probably just assistance in one way or another

Gainax is an animation studio. They don't always do their own projects. It wouldn't suprise me if they did an episode or two of Naruto.

i have no experience or knowledge on the studios... but i read someone else's msg... and they said that Gainax did the eps that have excellent animations/fighting... ie... the first ep of lee vs gaara

Yea, the whole 360 rotating thing could have derived from FLCL(episode 4 I believe?).
