Code Geass R2 Favorite Characters

Gino actually didn't have much importance, or at least not much depth. And V. V. was already introduced in S1. He just got a more prominent role in R2.

As I said before in my previous post, Lelouch is not only my favorite character, but he is also the only reason I really like Code Geass. After finishing watching the entire series, Lelouch is still my favorite, of course, as well as my biggest obsession currently still. But I thought I might now go ahead and list any other characters I like, even though these characters can never compare to my love for Lelouch.

If I had to pick two or three other favorites I guess one would be Jeremiah/Orange. Funny thing is at first I didn't like him at all. In fact he was one I disliked a lot. But when he became a psychotic cyborg like character I thought he was kinda cool. SPOILER! And after he joins Lelouch side, of course, I liked him more. And after that last attack against the knightmare in the final battle I was like "awesome!" SPOILER END! So he would be my second favorite character.

I suppose my third favorite would actually be Lloyd. I thought he was kinda funny. I like the way he talks and acts. He's an amusing character.

As far as my forth favorite I guess I would say Schniezel since (1) he's definitely a bishounen type and (2) He is also charming and charismatic. But I don't like his methods towards the end with the Damocles and his use of the F.L.E.Y.A. Not to mention he is of course Lelouch's ultimate opponent in the end. The bishounen/charm/charisma thing are the only things that make him a favorite. After all, I am on Lelouch's side all the way.

After that statement, if it's okay, I'd like to say the Code Geass characters I hate the most would definitely be Mao and Charles Zi Britannia. Mao used to be No. 1 on my hate list because of his methods of confusing and tormenting his enemies with the help of his mind-reading geass along with almost turning Shirley against Lelouch and even herself with guilt. And of course kidnapping and threatening to kill Nunnally, the one Lelouch cares for more than anyone else. But Mao was a more minor character and even looked a liitle cool. So he's 2nd. The No. 1 character on my hate list is definitely Charles Zi Britannia because he is the cause and reason for Lelouch's troubles in the first place plus he was a horrible father and didn't even care about Lelouch or Nunnally, his own children. I also hate how he thinks that equality is wrong and doesn't care about those who are weak. And since he was the Emperor he was responsible for the conquering of Japan along with other countries and oppressed the people of Japan. He's a big tyrannical bastard!

Okay, sorry that went so long and, yes, I know this is a favorite characters thread so don't bash me for it. Besides I don't think there's a thread for that here anyway so since I started to go into that a little I figured "What the heck!" So I'm sorry if it bugs you. Just "chill"!

m sure its been asked before, but why the hate for Suzaku? In the end, he did basically give up his life for the world, much like Lelouch. He won't ever be known as Suzaku, basically lives a life similar to Zero, always hidden from the world, thats a pretty big sacrifice.

It's not really surprising to see CG so high. Gundam Seed was first for at least 4 years so :heh: And I find that more incredible to see Kira still in the poll and before Setzuna !

You are forgetting that Kira Yamato's popularity is so great that it warps the fabric of space time and makes it so that even the writers cannot kill him. His loyal army of fanboys and girls ensures that the universe itself bends backwards to accommodate him. :heh: :heh: :heh:

Alright, have finished second season just now so here go my votes, without particular order:

1) Lelouch - yep I have changed my mind about him from first season, actually the ending did it. I still dissagree with most of his actions but he was ready to fully pay for them and he did. He gave up his life and tainted his name with hatred. This deserves attention and admiration.

2) Suzaku - I admit that sometimes he really annoyed me and sometimes otherwise. His character is complicated what makes him interesting and unpredictable. Besides being able to kill your best friend and to wear Zero's mask for the rest of your life without revealing your indentity also takes a lot of courage and respect.

3) C.C - are explanations really needed? She is simply interesting especially when she is uncarrying.

4) Anya - duno but the whole uncarying attitude did get my attention. I did feel sorry for her when Orange was about to attack and she said that she has no memories. Glad she got tham back^^ But I admit that I would like to know more about her and what kind of memories had returned.

5) Cornelia - I like her here far more than in first season. Especially her design :D But really, seeing a war obessed monster to turn out to be a carrying person was really interesting. And I really liked her sincire love towards Euphie.

There are more but those are who interested me the most.

I'm all for Kallen/Karen, obviously. I've stated numerous times why I love her (Yes, I admitted it, but in a broad sense.) along with her character developement.

Lelouch is sort've like my role model, he is caring and endearing, but also tragic. He is intelligent and charismatic, strong in his own sense of living.... But most of all, he died creating an ideal world. (Or as close as possible). This is vital in my opinion, because it relates to a particuliar poem and song. (Ode to Joy.)

Asahina because he was the only Four Holy Sword member that drew me. He was quite strong, as well. He was probably just a character, but I liked him overall.

Actually, she was upset about what happened in R2 20. It was out of her hands because she was absent when the betrayal took place. It was all downhill from there.
