Are there any sites that say how many total volumes a manga has?

I want to start a couple new series, but money-wise, I have to make sure that it is not going to be some 30+ volume series.

PRISMS: The Ultimate Manga guide (http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Ginza/4996/) has information on some titles. Manga Jouhou (http://manganews.net/) has information on some titles. Some manga publishers may also give this information.

animeNfo.com has a manga section too aside from the well known anime section

Their manga section is pretty pathetic, unfortunately, and not particularly informative.

Anime on Dvd's graphic novel comparison chart (http://www.animeondvd.com/specials/manga/compcharts.php) will tell you how many volumes released in the U.S. vs Japan, and whether it is still going or not, along with other details.
