Doujinshi - What interests you?

If you were to purchase a fan comic/doujinshi based on any anime/manga/game series you like, which would be your first pick? What type of story are you looking for, or the art the only important aspect? What is most important to you about a doujinshi? Have any favorite doujinshi you’ve already read?

Just looking to see what are some opinions on doujinshi.

Personally, I prefer doujinshis/ mangas/ comics bassed on action

Fights, villans, showdowns, etc... Romance themes do not really call my atention

I, on the other hand, prefer romance doujinshis rather than action-types.

I'm getting some vibes here that most fans see this:

Pretty natural for that assumption granted how many people actually only see hentai Doujinshi.

I personally find myself liking action based the most, though I do enjoy an occasional romance themed. . .I tend to avoid romance ones based on the animes/mangas/light novels where massive ship wars are in the fandom at the time (Nanoha for example

No, it must have a good plot but it's more enjoyable with a good art. Art the only important aspect in-doujinshi.
